Aida helped us plan our November 2021 trip to Italy and we could not have done this without her and her team.

All of the staff went above and beyond to be super friendly and inviting. It felt like my husband and I were regulars the way the wait staff treated us. You could tell they treat every customer as if they're the only person in the winery, despite it being full. Every question we had was met with patience as they guided us on the best food and wine pairing. They also are super accommodating to pets, and were able to enjoy a nice meal with our pup. The food was all fresh and delicious. Everything tasted like it was made from the heart. My husband got the angel hair pasta with chicken, a favorite of his, and it did not disappoint! I got the brown butter sage gnocchi, made with fresh sage from their garden. We also enjoyed the meze board. My husband who does not like falafel was fighting with me for the last piece. For dessert I ate the rosemary shortbread with lemon curd. Just like with the sage the rosemary was also freshly picked from their garden. The shortbread was not too dry but also the perfect ratio of crispy on the outside and slightly moist on the inside - the exact way shortbread should be baked. I normally am picky with lemon desserts, but their lemon curd was also perfect - not too sweet and not too sour while still maintaining that fresh flavor. My biggest regret of our visit is not booking a room at their inn. We spent a couple of hours here and immediately felt right at home. I hope to come back one day for the full inn experience.

The owner and staff were super welcoming and walked us through all their offerings, which made the experience even better. We kicked things off with a cider flight--our favorites were Early Harvest and Graveyard. Early Harvest was simple, crisp, and just sweet enough, while Graveyard reminded me of a Scottish smoky cider aged in whiskey barrels. I do wish there were a few more sweet options overall and possibly a current up to date list of what's on tap somewhere online, but everything was well-crafted and flavorful! To cool off, we grabbed a cider slushy (highly recommend!) and wandered the property. We visited the goats, strolled through the apple trees, and made friends with their big fluffy Pyrenees who was living his best life napping in the shade. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW. It was the perfect stop--relaxed, local, and a great way to start the afternoon before heading into Yosemite. After our tasting, we walked through some of the apple trees, visited the cutest goats, and made friends with their big, lazy Pyrenees dog who was living his best life soaking up attention. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW--both worth it! Such a charming little spot--relaxed, scenic, and just the right detour before Yosemite!

Inside was truly dark, I had to use flash for my indoor photos. We waited several minutes inside for someone to come and greet us. I wasn't sure if they were open, because we're not from the area and decided to stop by because of their sign from the 41. Lady seemed rude and answered yes as if we would know, when I asked if they were open. They didn't have hours up or anything. Asked if they had any food, they had overpriced items in the refrigerator section. No on site kitchen that served food. We ordered flights, however I would have loved to hear more education about the winery: when it was built, family history, wine facts, etc. We went outside and was checked on once, before leaving. A little disappointed!

I did not really feel welcome rather felt like I was interrupting the server. She seemed very flustered by having customers! She served us the wrong wine from the flight and did not even realize it until i said it was smokey. Dropped off our flight and stated l'll be back to talk with you - no wine info sheet either. I feel wines were too overpriced to even buy a bottle to take home. Wine bottles were priced from $35-70. Good luck!!
