Love the salt Creek Grille the fireplace outside is so nice to relax and have a drink while you're waiting for a table. The bar is lots of fun and they have great bloody Mary's. Luckily, the weather is cooperating and we were able to seat outside in their garden over looking the water. Food is good and service was great. Unfortunately I had to put one star to write a review. It is not as good as one star. Run do not walk from this poorly run establishment. I went for brunch with a date. The food in buffet was nothing I can even remember. I had only eaten here once before for dinner and it was also unmemorable. What I will not forget was the service. The staff is ridiculous. There was no water offered. Our waiter told us about the mimosas offered and nothing else. We were not even given a menu. The place was empty and I understand why. I asked for eggs Benedict. About an hour later I received one egg on a cold muffin on a plate. I was there to get to know my date. We chatted for a couple hours. Over two mimosas. Then we were asked to leave because the dinner crowd would be coming. I have never in my life been asked to leave a restaurant. Again. Waiter, no where in site, until he came to explain the bums rush. Didn't ask if we'd like coffee or dessert. Didn't apologize for my order. Didn't ask if we'd like anything else. Just flat out told us they were setting up for dinner and we could take our hour old mimosas outside. Smh. Never ever again. We had 22 people for Thanksgiving dinner. We opted for a restaurant rather than cook. The experience was not great. The food was good, but the table layout and service was sub-par. Food - basic TG grub: turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc. plus the menu had vegetarian and fish options. The food was good. This was not buffet style. Everything was delivered on a plate for each guest. When my wife made the reservation she was told seconds would be offered by the servers. That did not happen. Setting - large parties were put downstairs in the banquet room. The tables were so close together the servers could not fit between them and had the guests pass plates from one end to the other. This made service a rather chaotic experience. Conclusion - we've eaten at Salt Creek many times and it's always been a good experience. However, TG was not. I can not recommend them for a big party for a holiday dinner. read more

Sunday has the best brunch ever! This place is a most go to however it is a little bit pricey but the quality makes up for it. Salt Creek Grille has an outstanding atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Has a beautiful view of the Navasink when dinning in certain sections of the restaurant. Recommend the Live like Luke Burger for lunch and steak for dinner. The wait staff and bartenders are amazing and friendly. Went to this restaurant Saturday night and boy we are glad we did.The whole place is run top notch..Pulled up and immediately 2 attendants came running out to get my car excellent valet. Walked in to be greeted by 3 friendly hostesses and was seated within 10 min of my reservation. Waitress was quick and very friendly.G.f had a very well made mojito and I had a angry orchard......ok I love them......started off with an absolutely delicious flatbread with tomatoes cheese basil light sauce we inhaled it.....For main course g.f ordered Ahi Tuna with a salad she said it was absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken with tomato and prosciutto in a cream sauce scraped the bowl. Desert was well made and delicious cappachino and I had reg coffee. 9/24/17 - My wife & I used to go here religiously for years until we moved to Ocean Co. six years ago. It was my son's (Kevin) Birthday and he wanted to go to The Salt Creek Grill. We arrived promptly at our 5 pm reservation for a window table. The View & Atmosphere are beautiful. We started with the App's - Shrimp wrapped in bacon, Mussels, Ahi Tuna & Vinegar potato chips with homemade onion dip, all were excellent. Pricy but worth it. The lobster bisque was excellent and the chocolate ganache was incredible. Definitely a favorite place for good food and if you're lucky to get a table by the windows the view is great too. Service was great, to the point that my wife asked the server where she buys her happy pills. Went here for a birthday dinner. Gorgeous location! Right on the water, really nice atmosphere. Food was great, I got the pork chop. Really well cooked, moist and juicy. Great sides as well. We got the shrimp appetizer, very good flavor. Wife got the scallops, they were a bit over seasoned but still tasty. Service was wonderful, definitely a highlight. Very happy and helpful. Always a solid plate of food, but yo really don't come here for the food. You come for the ambiance . The fire outside the buzz in the restaurant. A nice glass of red sitting by that fire in a crisp autumn night. It's a staple in the area. Salt Creek Grille is always a delicious and elegant experience. I had a burger and a baked potato, the food was cooked perfectly. For an appetizer, my party and I ordered the homemade salt and vinegar chips, which were so delicious I would really just go back to get them! They also give you a delicious fresh garlic bread to start, which is very good if you like garlic. The cornbread was a disappointment, it was very small for the price, and it wasn't that good. I was a bit disappointed with my recent experience. My husband and I had an 8 pm reservation. We were seated promptly. We had notified at home, that we qualified for a free appetizer by checking in On yelp. Cool! I'll remember that! When we arrived at went to the app to check in and claim our app, the offer was gone. And then I remembered a Las Vegas hint. Good deals disappear when you are in the location because they don't want to actually give it to you. There is a policy of not giving these and very vague on what the policy was? I do know that we're we're plenty of table for 2 and with a reservation of 5:45 didn't seem to me it was a problem? We had an enjoyable meal with excellent service. The bowl of lobster bisque my wife and I shared was rich and could have been a meal in itself (sorry, Bannion). The short ribs over rigatoni was comfort food for a February night. I am glad we put in for two chocolate soufflés at the beginning of the meal because they really capped off the meal. They were piping hot and delicious. Four of us split them and there was plenty. The place was packed and the staff was hopping but we had no wait between courses and the timing of the meal was just right. I recommend you make a reservation otherwise you'll wait. read more
