They have transported my people a number of times over the years, and they got there. But that's all I can say. It's not comfortable nor that affordable, and if they could drive themselves they would have. Then they advertised a sale on gift cards on one day- black Friday. 30% off - but their site wouldn't work when it was still within the hours... which is fine I guess cuz it means they'll all the more be a last resort, when you'd think they'd prefer to INCREASE AND ENCOURAGE RIDERSHIP while traffic and construction have only increased across the state and will continue to do so! But my family rarely uses them since my mom's health challenges have prevented her from traveling and she's the main one who's used it. We use it only when it feels desperate, like we just can't drive ourselves. And I know from past experiences that the online account they grant you is ANTIQUATED and WILL NOT show your gift card balance or usages! you have to call them and give the email address the gift card was bought with or they won't find it. And they changed their policies (yes it's been years but was unnecessary) to expire any gift card or credit balance after 1 year. These 2 combined practices seem purposeful to keep you from accessing the services YOU ALREADY PAID FOR or were given a credit, which they RARELY give, even when it's their fault! And if you try to contact any manager, good luck. I have experienced they responded once, like 3-5 years ago? It's hit or miss if you get a customer service representative who can actually help you with a more detailed or complex issue without a manager's help, because if they need a manager help, you're probably out of luck. See prior comment about trying to reach a manager. They also have schedules that make no sense if they were actually trying to make it easier to travel to or from an airport like Pocatello or even SLC, or elsewhere! let alone if they actually cared to treat others how they'd want THEIR mom or child treated, but then their mom and child probably don't use their services. Or get different treatment than the rest of us. Their schedule from Boise to Idaho Falls (just one example and for that route they don't go from Nampa or many other COMMON LARGER TOWNS/CITIES the buses used to go to and from, even once a day or a couple times a week) would leave my young female (young adult) child to wait to transfer buses in an isolated location, with no restroom or indoor waiting area, LATE AT NIGHT IN FALL/ WINTER, FOR AN HOUR OR MORE, in Pocatello at their supposed transit center. So their "service" is barely useful (albeit expensive!) since we paid $75ish ONE WAY FOR 1 PERSON, for her to have to get a ride for 20 miles to Boise airport, then they drove her 3 hours only as far as Pocatello (could get out at the hotel on Pocatello Creek Rd- Ramada?, if ending route in Poky). (85ish to take her all the way to IF). And by the way gas prices went down and their prices basically never have over 12 years of using them occasionally. Only gone up for less or worse service and worse transfers, not that they were ever great. Routes from Boise to Montana WILL NOT show options to go across the bottom of Idaho and transfer. They apparently only allow/ make you go CLEAR to Spokane! And then clear across Montana and down to Butte I think and then transfer and then continue eastward. It's like they DON'T WANT FOLKS TO USE THEIR ROUTES. For the attempted IF trip, then I drove an hour each way to pick her up at 11 pm in Poky and get back just after midnight so she wouldn't be waiting in potentially unsafe temperature or other conditions LATE AT NIGHT. What good is the Sheriff's department or whatever nearby the so-called transit center that isn't near anything else needed (Pocatello's fault I assume) if passengers still don't have a safe indoor place they can wait or use the restroom for an HOUR OR MORE?! And of course that wait time depends on the bus not being late or skipping that stop even accidentally, and other reviews and just real life show that's not a reasonable expectation! Check the waits for transfer in Butte, which one would think would have improved since 1990ish when I took that route a couple times as a college student to and from U of I to IF... if anyone actually cared about their passengers and streamlining (while expanding) mass transportation options over time, and not just immediate money now. SMH If it were actually more affordable and accessible, like to a 100,000 population city near Boise lol, I'd probably try not driving myself more often, especially for the shorter trips of a week or less. The City of IF actually has better public transportation than Nampa as well. because people still need to go places like work or otherwise, on Saturdays or later at night on even 2 of 5 week nights! My first time taking the Salt Lake Express. I arrived at Salt Lake City International Airport at 6:30am, and found the bus easily. I was worried about making it there, how it would work, the stop locations and everything. we stopped several times, starting through provo, american fork, where we stopped at the Maverick and I got breakfast. The shuttle was fairly empty on a saturday morning, then we stopped through Fillmore, Cedar City, and then arrived in the heart of St George. the bus drivers are friendly, the bus has air conditioning, and in my case, you pretty much have a row all to yourself. not one person had to sit next to another. they scan your QR code on your phone, and you arrive on the bus. on the way back, we also stopped in Beaver(?) and Draper on the drop off locations. 5/5, not as scary as i thought it would be haha read more

Communication we were scheduled to be picked up from West Yellowstone at 9:00 am on Saturday,May 23. 2026. We arrived at 8:40 am at the West Yellowstone visitors center, by 9:15 we became concerned so my husband called the office and was told the driver had called in they would need to call in another driver it would be 1 and 1/2 hours. I asked the woman who answered the phone what time would we arrive in Salt Lake City she said 6:00 pm. Well at 11:35am the an arrived and we are off to Rexburg, Idaho. We arrive there at approximately 1:15 pm I asked the driver what time the next bus would arrive and he stated 4:35 pm, so how could we possibly arrive in Salt Lake City at 6:00 pm. Long story short the shuttle van was hot and we arrived back in Salt Lake City at around 9:45 pm. My issue reach out to people letting them know what is going on and please be truthful. read more

I watched the bus pull up to a different spot on the side of the street, slow down for 30 seconds and kept on going. As this is public transportation I guess there is only so much you can expect. We rode from Pocatello to Salt lake City with a very disturbed and mentally ill person. This person was freaking out about our voices that he was hearing while we had a conversation. We were being neither loud or obscene but having a normal conversation. I spoke with the driver and he said he was aware of the individual a nd if we had any more problems to let him know. On the way home to Pocatello we had a women that seemed to be on her cell phone on a very loud and profane phone call that lasted for a large portion of the uncomfortable trip on a bus that felt like it was about ready to rattle to pieces. DO NOT USE!! Horrible customer service and communication between employees. This story is long, because it was SO CONFUSING. On April 28th I booked a shuttle from Utah Tech University to Vegas. I fly standby so its always hit or miss if I will get my flight out of St. George. I wasn't able to get on the flight so I immediately booked a shuttle online to get a flight out of Vegas. I had to make it to work at 4 AM the next morning so I really needed to get home ASAP. I booked my trip online for the next shuttle and went to the stop at Utah Tech, which was confusing in itself. On my confirmation email it says the stop is at 100 S and 1000 E and on the website it says 100 S and 900 E (something like that, regardless, the addresses are different.) I was 10 minutes early so I drove back and forth from those two hoping to see the shuttle. A couple minutes pass the pickup time so I call. The lady on the phone tells me she doesn't know if they will stop there because I didn't book early enough, and should've called to book. Well, there should be a warning or something online when booking that this could be the case. She also says she isn't sure if anyone else booked there, I asked her if she could find out for me and she said she couldn't until I kept BEGGING her to and explaining I really need to get to Vegas, so she finally checked. She said nobody else booked that stop so the shuttle would not stop there and she couldn't get a hold of the driver. I asked if I could try to hurry to the next stop. She told me no, because if I wasn't exactly on time they would leave because "everyone needs to catch their flight." My dad is driving me around trying to help me figure this out and she was basically telling me there was nothing she could do except refund my card. I was pretty upset so my dad takes the rest of the day off work to drive me to Vegas. Once I get out of the gorge I see that I have a voicemail saying my bus driver is waiting for me at the Utah Tech stop. HUH??? So I call back and explain that I just got that call and get the same lady and this time she is much nicer and apologetic, but says "Looks like someone else booked it after you so they went back to that stop. Um?? So they could stop for someone who booked AFTER me, but not me? And I thought they had to be perfectly on time?? Then I ask if I can stop at the stop in Mesquite, so that my dad can go back to work and not waste the gas money and miss out on the money from work. She says she doesn't know if they will stop in Mesquite, so I have to beg her once again to find out. I can't remember if they were going to stop there or not, but my dad and I were SOO over it that he just drove me to Vegas. She also said that since it was such a quick refund it shouldn't even process my card at all so I will see no charge. Today I check my credit card statement and see that I was in fact charged $48 but only refunded $45. I call to ask about that, spoke with Michelle, and explain my situation, saying "I was at the bus stop" and Michelle says "Well they aren't allowed to use the bus stop blah blah" like that part is even relevant now, because regardless, they stop BY the bus stop and still didn't stop at that stop, or I would've been able to see them. She also says that there is a processing fee and nothing she can do about that, but I was told that the card should've never even been processed in the first place. It is $3, it wont break the bank, but this is seriously the most ridiculous, and time and money wasting experience, and I urge everyone to choose St. George Shuttle instead. I have worked in customer service for 10+ years, so I know when things are out of your control, and when you should do everything you can to help someone out. She just seemed inconvenienced by me asking her to just help me out a bit, which made for a very stressful afternoon and a lot of money wasted, and the business clearly doesn't care to make it right with their customers. read more

Very disappointed! We have used Salt Lake Express for several years and been very satisfied. They recently updated their system and we are not impressed. First of all I purchased $250 in bus passes last November. When I went to schedule a ride for my son, I was told that they have not transferred my funds to their new system and It will take a few days to find my credits. I will need to get back to them. Second, when I purchased gift cards in the past, I could use a second gift for the remaining balance if I had used up the first card. I was told "with the new system they can no longer do that". Third, I used to could purchase one ticket for my son to get home. Now, there is a two hour lay over at the Salt Lake Airport so, I am forced to purchase two separate tickets which increases the purchase amount by almost $40 Please do something to resolve these issues. We have been so happy with your service in the past and would like to continue to use your service. read more

I recently took the Salt Lake Express from Provo, UT to Las Vegas, NV, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst travel experiences I've had. Outbound Trip: Provo to Las Vegas The issues started right away in Provo. The stop information provided online was incorrect and extremely confusing. The website showed one location (near a Greyhound sign), but the shuttle actually picked up on the other side of the street, about a block away. No clear signage, no updates--just confusion. I also expected a comfortable tour bus based on the booking description, but instead was crammed into a small shuttle. To make things worse, there was a passenger who appeared to be homeless, and the ride overall felt very uncomfortable. Without warning, we were forced to transfer buses in Spanish Fork--something that was not communicated in advance. The transfer added unnecessary stress and confusion. Later, in Cedar City, our driver was running behind schedule and made it clear that if we didn't arrive in time to St. George, our connecting shuttle would leave without us. I was shocked to hear this, as you'd expect the company's drivers to coordinate delays internally to avoid leaving passengers stranded. Also worth noting: Wi-Fi was advertised on the website, but there were no instructions given on how to connect, and no one explained whether it was even working. Thankfully, once we reached St. George, we transferred to a full-size tour bus that was clean, spacious, and much more pleasant. It was a huge contrast from the earlier part of the journey. I made it to Las Vegas on time, but the ride there left a lot to be desired. Return Trip: Las Vegas to Provo This leg of the trip was even worse. I arrived nearly an hour early for the 12:10 am departure. When the driver finally showed up, he told me and another passenger, "I'll come back and pick you up at 12:40." Instead of boarding, we had to wait outside while he went to the airport to pick up others. During that time, a transient and a transit officer got into a loud and aggressive altercation nearby. It was deeply uncomfortable, especially at that hour, and no one from the company was around to offer any kind of support or assurance. When the driver returned, he didn't help load any luggage--just told us to toss our bags in the back. Upon arrival in St. George, he didn't assist with unloading either. I ended up climbing into the trailer myself to retrieve not just my bag but the bags of two other passengers. Once again, the shuttle from St. George was a major upgrade--cleaner, more spacious, and the driver was actually friendly. Final Thoughts I booked Salt Lake Express instead of flying because I had a discount code that made the fare significantly cheaper. But after this chaotic, uncomfortable, and poorly managed experience, I won't be using them again--discount or not. If you're considering this service, just know that it's a gamble. While some parts of the trip were okay, the overall lack of organization, poor communication, and unprofessional service made it a very stressful experience. I can't recommend it. read more

The service of Salt Lake Express is very poor. We purchased the ticket through their system, yet the shuttle left earlier than scheduled, even though we arrived on time. They try to justify it by saying their system doesn't notify the drivers, but if a shuttle has a schedule, it must be respected--neither earlier nor later. Additionally, we were traveling with an elderly person and were forced to move to the back so that other passengers could sit in the front, even though others who arrived earlier were free to sit wherever they wanted. We arrived at the station 5 minutes before the scheduled time, and the shuttle had already left, claiming that since they didn't see anyone, they decided to leave and that we should have called to notify them. This is completely ridiculous. The second shuttle, instead of being punctual, arrived late. Very poor organization and zero respect for the customer. I do not recommend them at all. read more

I had a terrible experience with the Salt Lake Express. I scheduled my trip two weeks in advance. On the day of the trip I waited at the shuttle stop and they did not arrive on time. Twenty minutes after the scheduled pick up, I received a phone call from the company informing me that there was no space for me on the shuttle and I could not ride. They offered to refund me or to put me on a shuttle five hours later. I was to arrive at my destination that afternoon; this damaged my entire week's plan and the $60 refund did not solve the problem. While I appreciate the email and refund they sent in apology, it did not help me get where I needed to be. I feel very let down and I would NOT recommend the company. read more

Salt Lake Express left me stranded at the Las Vegas airport after I checked in 10 minutes before departure time, spoke directly with the driver, and was told I was fine to leave my belongings while I stepped away for coffee. I returned within 1, no later than 2 minutes of departure to find the shuttle had left with my things still on board. When I called customer service at 6:33 am, the representative placed me on hold to check whether the driver could turn around, then disconnected after several minutes on hold. I never received a follow-up or callback. Their responses to my complaint have not only been dismissive, but false. They claim they offered rebooking and that the driver warned/advised me. They have also said they pride themselves on prompt departures which I understand, yet 3 of the 4 passengers that morning were left behind at the Las Vegas Airport. Considering they had the belongings of 2 passengers, were short another passenger, and had a 40-minute buffer until the next connection, some basic customer service and critical thinking were missing when they chose to leave. Even if rebooking had been offered, it was irrelevant because I had already made other arrangements through Enterprise, with the receipt time-stamped at 7:24 am. What stands out the most is the complete lack of basic customer service, communication, and accountability when a paying passenger was left stranded and forced to arrange expensive alternate travel on the spot. No rebooking offer or credit partial or full or discount for future bookings. read more

I purchased a salt lake express ticket for my girlfriend to come visit Salt Lake City from Moab on March 23rd 2026. There was no mention of a bus transfer in Spanish Fork, which wouldn't have been a problem in itself if it weren't for the transfer bus being OVER THREE HOURS DELAYED, leaving her stranded at a gas station with 2 large bags and no bus in sight as it was continually delayed more and more. The driver said "sorry I have to get to my other job" as her and all the other passengers were abandoned. Another woman on the bus missed her flight out of salt lake. I drove down an hour from Salt Lake City to pick her up. James Glass from management was absolutely unhelpful in offering any kind of legitimate reimbursement for this joke of a transportation service, besides a small discount on future tickets, which we will certainly never be using again. If traveling from Salt Lake to Moab or vice versa I would recommend taking FlixBus, the train to Green River, or any alternative to engaging with the grifters at Salt Lake Express. read more

I had been waiting 2.5 hours at the SLC airport for my ride home to Idaho Falls; not due to a delay but just how the bus schedule lined up with my flight. I'd been traveling for close to 36 hours straight to arrive from Peru. But I'm a veteran traveler, bus driver, and somebody who tries hard not to be a bad passenger for anyone, so I greeted the SLC Express driver in a manner that was friendly and polite. She had a sour expression on her face as she demanded to see my ticket. Ticket? Nobody ever gave me a ticket. The purchase was done online, weeks in advance, and I only needed my ID to board the outbound bus from Idaho Falls. Would you like to see my ID? No, she replied, I don't want to see your ID. If you don't have a ticket, you can't ride with me. Well, I stammered, can you please get in contact with the office to ask? No, she replied, you need to call customer service yourself and figure it out. No ticket, no ride. She then went to stand around a short distance away because she was not busy helping anyone else, and there was no line waiting to be helped. I called customer service and received a recording that they were experiencing a high volume of calls and long wait times. I waited... as the time for departure crept closer. Finally I was able to get through to someone. I explained the situation and the agent was able to quickly verify that I was a ticketed passenger. I requested that she call the driver to confirm. I explained that I was tired after a long travel and the driver was being rude and unhelpful, and that I didn't want to have to speak with her again. The agent agreed and told me I would get a callback from her if the issue was unresolved. I boarded the bus with my things and patiently waited. After a few minutes, the driver returned from wherever she had gone for a few minutes, and began loudly insisting that I would have to get off the bus, that I could not ride with her, and that it didn't matter what I said. When I refused, she called the police and told them I had been rude to her and that she felt unsafe having me on her bus. She used the opportunity of the police questioning me to remove my things from the bus and drive away, which SLC airport police allowed her to do after verifying themselves that I was a ticketed passenger on that bus. SLC Express head of customer service sent me an email apologizing 'for the delay' and offering a future half price ticket. I think the incident should be investigated and intend to instigate an investigation if I can. Don't ride with SLC Express! Terrible company, zero accountability, borderline criminal customer service. Next time I'll get a ride with a family member. read more

Please someone tell me another way to get from Salt Lake City to Idaho Falls. I have used Salt Lake Express for 20+ years and it just gets worse and worse. I am forced to use them because I don't know of any other option. They are terrible. My experiences include everything from U turns on I15, no-shows, and neglecting to notify connecting drivers that several passengers will be late because SL Express is late! When you have an emergency situation and you are left without a ride, they refuse to come back - even though the driver decided to whiz right by the bus stop and not pick up their passengers. No phone call, no refund, no we are sorry; just it's too late for them to come back. If you have any other option, take it. SL Express gets away with this terrible customer service because options are so limited. Try to get a hold of a supervisor at night...not gonna happen. They can't be bothered when they created an emergency situation for you. You must figure it out until their business hours. Stay away! read more

I was stranded hundreds of miles from my home I had not car and did not know anyone. The driver Steven Lusk, arrived at meeting point 30 mins early. Steven Lusk did not try and notify me he was there early. He waited 1 min per their reservation dept and then left. I arrived 13 mins early and still missed him. Steven Lusk was my driver the next day who gave me a lame excuse and apology. I had to get a hotel I was not prepared to pay for. read more

Absolutely terrible. Salt Lake Express has shoddy equipment, overbook and clearly don't care about their customers. Last time I was on the Salt Lake Express it broke down just outside of the airport in the middle of the night. Years later I'm back on It unfortunately, forgetting about my previous experience until looking at my past review. Either we have the worst driver, worst vehicle or both. This driver lacks concept of what's happening with the vehicle but Salt Lake Express has provided him with such terrible equipment it's really not his fault. It's really easy to get some spring helpers to stop the van from swaying and rolling everywhere, giving the driver a lot more control. I did it to my Sprinter for less than $300 installed and it made a huge difference. The trailer sways constantly, another fixable problem if Salt Lake Express cared at all about their customer experience. So the trailer sways, driver chops the throttle, then hammers right back down causing the trailer to sway...it's past ridiculous. You'd think at some point the guy would figure out some rythm to what's happening but the vehicle could be so bad it's not possible. I forgot to mention Salt Lake Express way over sold this shuttle, probably triple booked it. People were everywhere waiting for this shuttle and didn't get on. That is a really poor way to treat customers trying to make flights. "Sorry we overbooked, good luck!" If you have a choice choose the St. George shuttle, their vans are a lot better, they don't overbook and actually seem to care about their customer. My granddaughter and I were scheduled to take a shuttle/bus from Draper to Parowan. The 1st half from Draper to Fillmore was driven by an older man named Richard. I know SLE would like their passengers there 10 to 15 minutes early , which i normally am. But, on this day due to unforeseen circumstances, I was just trying to make it there by the pickup time of 10:35 am. I called and explained this to a SLE operator at 10:27 am and asked her to please let the driver know that my granddaughter and I were on our way and very close. She was no help at all. I don't know if she even let the driver know. I arrived at 10:35 on the dot thinking this was a good thing. The driver was not happy and began to scold me and threatened to leave without us if we didn't hurry up and get our things on the bus. This man was extremely rude and unprofessional and continued to be like this at our stop in Fillmore. I hope i never get this driver again. read more

Sent a family member on the shuttle from St George to Las Vegas Airport. On time, professional, worked out perfectly for them.

I am sitting on the bus. It is 1:40pm and we should be at the SLC airport according to the itinerary. Instead we are in Clearfield, UT at a drop off, and we have another stop to make before we get to the airport. If we were to drive straight to the SLC airport, the GPS shows a 2:06 pm arrival time. We will easily be 40 minutes behind schedule. The bus was 20 minutes late to pick us up in Idaho Falls and is just getting further and further behind. The schedule is overloaded. I hope we make our flight. We have most likely spent our last dollars with Salt Lake Express. Each time we travel we buy 6 tickets, unfortunately this is too much of a headache to deal with anymore. Arrived at my pickup destination in Cedar City about 10 minutes early @ 5:25p and the driver immediately told me that they'd been waiting a while for me to arrive and were wondering where I was. (Bear in mind Departure was @ 5:35) He then proceeded to tell that I should received a call telling me to be there at 5:20. (Which I had never received) The driver then told me to get on the bus, not offering to help me with my bag until I was half way up the stairway and waving it frantically for him to take. If that wasn't enough, he didn't welcome me, offer me anything and didn't show me to an open seat. So I blindly shuffled my way in the pitch black to an open seat. Something else to mention, is I get car sick. So I specifically requested a seat closer to the front, but unbeknownst to me, I noticed nearly every seat in the front was either taken or occupied by someone's luggage. Really!? Up to this point, I was already PO'ed by how I was treated at first but now it was more than frustrating to see that my request really hadn't been taken seriously. The ride was shaky and unnerving the whole way. Especially when passing a big rig with literally no clearance. Not to mention how pitch black it was the entire way. I will definitely not be taking SLC Express after this terrible experience. read more

Do not give these people your money. Plenty of other shuttle services around. Short of it: they don't care about your safety, they don't stick to their schedules, and they lack basic customer service. Just don't do it. read more

HORRENDOUS. Use another company if you need to get to the airport. Normally I use St. George Shuttle ( a very good company) to go to Las Vegas airport but Salt Lake Express was offering a 30 dollar deal so I thought I would take advantage of that. HUGE MISTAKE on my part. This past Tuesday I was booked on the 12:40 afternoon shuttle from the Bluff Street /office to Vegas airport. The driver showed up 35 minutes late. During our 35 minute wait the employees at this location could not have cared less that the driver was nowhere to be found. No information or explanation was volunteered by either of the two women working behind the counter. They didn't even try to get another driver. I had to go up to the counter at least twice to plead for ANY information. One didn't acknowledge me at all and the other one was completely indifferent to the problem. " He'll be here soon " and " Don't worry, you won't miss your flight " was all I kept getting. She didn't know and CLEARLY didn't care where the driver was or when he would arrive. How could the office staff have no communication with the driver?! When the driver FINALLY arrived, not one word of explanation or apology for being 35 minutes late. I BARELY made my flight. I will never use this totally incompetent and apathetic company again. Use a car service or the other shuttle company. read more

I purchased a bus ticket on Salt Lake Express's (SLE) website for Green River to Ogden at about 9:50am on the day of my travel, which was supposed to depart Green River at 12:05pm. I purchased this ticket in order to shuttle a new vehicle that I purchased back to my home (which is nearly 5.5 hours away from Odgen). I arrived at the Green River stop at 11:50am, a full 15 minutes early as recommended by SLE's terms and conditions under #11. I spoke to the hotel clerk where the bus stop is at and arranged parking for my vehicle while I waited for the bus. At 12:06 pm, I called the Salt Lake Express to inquire about the location of the bus, as the online tracking system showed that there was no bus running on this route for some reason. The customer service representative informed me that, "He is on his way still. He should be there in 5-10 minutes". So, I continued to wait. Later, the same hotel clerk came outside to speak to me, asking if I was waiting for Greyhound or SLE. When I told her I was waiting for SLE, she told me that he had come before I had initially arrived. She said the driver came inside and asked if there was anyone else that he needed to pick up, and the hotel clerk said that there wasn't anyone she was aware of (again, this was prior to my already 15 minutes early arrival). The clerk was very kind and helped me by contacting SLE customer service representative TJ to inform her that they had missed a passenger and to see if the bus could turn around. TJ informed us that the driver could not turn around and that I was not on the manifest when the driver arrived. While speaking to TJ, both the hotel clerk and I found her attitude toward the situation to be very rude/uncaring based on her tone of voice and demeanor. It just seemed like she didn't care in the slightest. The hotel clerk even warned me before she gave me the phone that she was being rude to her. I drove 2 hours (123 miles) to catch this bus in order to get to Ogden in a timely manner and not have to drive too much at night. Due to these issues, I had to purchase an AMTRAK ticket from Green River to Salt Lake City for $36. Due to a late train, I did not arrive at the SLC station until about 12am. I then had to purchase a Lyft ride from SLC to Ogden ($59.79) to finally arrive at my destination at 1:30am. I then had to drive through the night back home (which I finally got to at about 6:30am) only to go to work at 8am that morning (1.5 hours of sleep is definitely NOT safe to work with as a first responder). It would be an understatement to say that I'm more than a little angry with this situation. In speaking to TJ and notifying her of these additional expenses that I had incurred, she provided me with an email address to file for possible reimbursement. Surprise! They never responded to my email. I believe this set of circumstances is outrageous, avoidable, and completely unacceptable. TJ offered me a full refund of my ticket, which I accepted, but due to the errors of SLE, I am now out an additional $95.79, countless hours of my time and frankly, extremely stressed out. DO NOT UTILIZE SALT LAKE EXPRESS if you want to arrive at your destination in a timely manner (or at all!) read more

2 bad experiences I'll never use them again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Both trips to Las Vegas airport to fly home. First time they didn't show to pick me up. I called several times with NO help. 2nd experience, they called me to say bus was full & wouldn't be picking me up. I paid for a seat 3 weeks prior to trip. They sold my seat. Both times I had to find a ride to the airport so I didn't miss my flight. My sister also had a no show for pick up to airport. read more

Please note that interstate transportation is regulated by the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Let's work to get Salt Lake Express shut down! I purchased a shuttle ticket to Tonapah Nevada and the company abandoned me at the Las Vegas airport (where I was supposed to catch a connecting SL Express shuttle). The company's customer service reps lied to me repeatedly about why the connecting bus wasn't there... After four hours of waiting I finally found out the driver "no-showed" for work. I ended up having to pay for a flight home and Salt Lake Express refused to give me even a partial refund. Again, this company left me stranded after riding on their run down bus for 8 hours. Oh their office in St. George is disgusting and all employees I engaged with were disgruntled. Salt Lake Express refuses to take accountability for their mistakes and must be reported to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. read more

On December 3rd, I booked a shuttle from Hampton Inn (Sun River) to the Las Vegas airport, leaving St. George at 3:55pm on December 25th. I arrived at Hampton Inn at 3:45 and did not see the shuttle. I walked in to Hampton Inn to ask if they had seen the shuttle and they said no, so I called Salt Lake Express customer service line. The lady who picked up confirmed that I was on the manifest and that my driver was on his way to me. After another 15 minutes, at around 4:00, we decided to call their customer service line again. After being on hold for another 15 minutes, we finally got a hold of another young lady who told us he was on his way. When we asked her why it was taking so long to get to us, she walked back her previous statement and said the driver did not stop at my location and left me. When asked how this could happen, she said "he must not have refreshed". This would not make sense, as we booked this reservation three weeks ago. Of course, missing this shuttle has also caused me to miss my Christmas flight to see my family, which means I will now have to pay for another shuttle and another flight. I requested a refund of my shuttle as well as the replacement flight that I will now have to book in order to make it to my family. I can confidently say I will never ever ever book through Salt Lake Express again, and I would strongly advise you to steer clear! read more

I have bought tickets for this shuttle 3 times. 2 out of the three times the bus passed by and didn't even stop where I paid to be picked up. I have missed 2 flights because of this and didn't receive my refund the first time this happened. Guess we'll see if I get a refund this time since they skipped my stop again. read more

We had a NIGHTMARE experience with this company transporting a group of 27 for a weekend in Deer valley. The first night our driver crashed into the port a cache at our hotel, popped numerous curbs and missed numerous exits and turns. My guests felt unsafe on the icey, curvy roads of a driver who wouldn't manage a bus this size. The only thing I specifically requested was the ability to play music from a phone, which I was promised. And zero surprise, that was not an option. A fun weekend was started with silent awkward bus rides scared for our lives. I called desserae who was my sales manager and told her our first experience and asked for a smaller more maneuverable bus and the drivers unsafe driving . The next night, the same driver in an EVEN bigger bus fit to be band tour bus showed up 30 minutes late causing us to miss and elusive and expensive reservation. Thanks to the Amazing valet team at Stein Ericksen they got all my 27 guests on their personal vehicals and rushed us to our event. Todd, our driver showed up at the end of the night to take us down the mountain back to our hotel. He missed our hotel turn twice, hit multiple curbs causing guests on the bus to spill drinks all over them and a woman literally dove out of the way with her BABY IN A STROLLER As our bus came around a corner too fast. I emailed Desserae the next morning (Second email expressing safety and quality experience concerns) and told her we are cancelling any future pick ups with their company and want a refund. Her manager refused to give us a refund (Including the time we literally weren't on the bus and we're frantically getting rides from our hotel) and handled the situation ridiculously poorly, without any care for the client. Long story short. This company is an unprofessional nightmare. Pay the extra and go with Snow Country who is pride, on time, and delightful to work with. There's a reason all the resorts suggest Snow Country for your transportation needs. Don't try to save a few dollars and ruin a vacation with Salt Lake Express' inept team . read more
