We've been here a couple times now and the food is consistent, the service is good but this location has an advantage over other restaurants.... the patio! The patio is huge, beautiful, and every time we've been there is live music. The music was so good I thought it was a music track until my husband pointed out the individual playing in the corner of the patio. We've never had a problem finding parking. Staff is young and new but very nice and working hard. The food is consistent. This place is popular, be ready for a wait, but use your Landry's select club card to get toward the front of the waiting list. Get the grilled salmon. It's my favorite! 3 Stars - Good Food, But Service Needs Attention I stopped in around 4:45 today, for a simple to-go order--a cheeseburger and fries. I came in and sat at the bar. I got my drink quickly, but bartender told me waitress had to take my order. So then, waited 20 minutes before a waitress came took my order, and then, nearly an hour since I arrived did I finally receive my food. Meanwhile, the restaurant wasn't busy, but several staff members seemed to be hanging out around the bar and host stand. Never was I spoken to again by the bar staff. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold and soggy, which was disappointing after such a long wait. I've enjoyed Saltgrass in the past, and the food is usually solid, but this experience suggests the service side could really use some tightening up. read more

Where to start? The bartending staff is phenomenal! From remembering drink orders, to overall friendliness is unmatched compared to other restaurants. Ariana, one of the bartenders is extremely friendly and does an amazing job. She's constantly asking how I've been, how's work going and how's my family doing. I haven't had that experience at other places. She makes coming to Saltgrass an enjoyable experience! Helen does a great job too. We always have a good experience here. The food is always consistent, the staff is neat and clean and polite. The manager is involved with his staff and can be seen working with them, not just standing around. He checks in tables and guests. The place is clean, and I'm really picky about that so I am probably more critical about that than most. All in all it's a solid choice and we are always happy. read more

Went in to dine with my family to celebrate an event. I had never been to this location but heard great things about it but unfortunately it was horrible! Started off with ordering a drink from the bar and the glass had a chip in it, which I didn't realize till I cut my lip on it. Manager came by apologized, no big deal! Then it took 15 minutes for my replacement drink to make it back out! Ordered appetizers, everything was good but the bacon. Explained to the manager that it wasn't cooked properly (very chewy and tough) but I'm not sure he even knows the method on how the bacon is cooked but once again no biggie! Salads arrived and not 3 minutes later entrees were dropped. I didn't even have a fork to even start my salad when the entrees arrived! They took my ribeye back and another ribeye then brought them out about 10 minutes later, in that 10 minutes of sitting under the heat lamp the steaks came back cooked medium well to well done, we ordered medium rare!There was no sense of the waiter to read the group and understand that we were in no means in a hurry! As a group we ordered 5 steaks, 3 of them were overcooked. I guess ordering med-rare was a little too much for the kitchen to handle. When the re-cooks came back out my steak looked like a boiled piece of meat. The bearded manager asked if it was ok and initially I said yes just to try and eat with the rest of the family. After cutting into it and looking at the appearance of the meat I gave the plate back to the manager and ended up not eating an entree! I really can't believe the manager sent that out looking the way it did, zero quality control!Management made me feel like it was my fault that they couldn't deliver a decent steak! Not one manager came by to offer any type of apology ( which I don't need but I do know "it's the Landry's way") In my college years I worked in multiple Landrys steakhouses and have since been to many of Landrys other concepts and this was a huge disappointment! Stopped in for a mid afternoon lunch celebrating my birthday with my wife. Very few customers but took 15 minutes to get a waiter and another 15 to finally get a cocktail. My steak was lukewarm accompanied by a cold baked potato. As noted in my reviews of other Landry's restaurants, at least they are consistent with poor service and food quality is less than acceptable at best. We started with the Range Rattlers which is their stuffed jalapeños and an Ole Fashion. Both were good. I had the steak and grilled shrimp. I ordered it medium rare, but be aware that is on more the rare side than most restaurants. Everything was good and the server was very attentive. I would say call ahead of get there early.
