Asked me questions to provide me a better steak option. Ordered the bone in ribeye and originally came out a bit over cooked, Layla resolved the issue quickly and manager Kirk came out providing me with a perfectly cooked steak!! Layla and Kirk truly went above and beyond to provide me with a great lunch experience! My wife and I stoped for lunch and order a chicken salad and chips and queso. Right off the chips and queso came out and we ate it all while waiting on our salad. Finally the salad came, croutons were stale, salad had no taste, and the fried chicken, was so cold. I can't understand a simple order like this during lunch time, when there was no crowd and come out not at all fresh. We will not be back! read more

We were seated immediately and service was prompt and efficient. We were both happy with our food. I ordered the salmon medium rare and it came out exactly right. Cooked but still moist. It was in my top two salmon dinners ever outside of our own kitchen. The reason OT was not five stars is the back half of the dining area continues to have an A/C problem. read more

We have wanted to try out this location since we moved to the area and glad we did! Love the cozy feel and local charm. It' was date night for us, so we ate in the bar. We enjoyed the live music piped in from outside where many families were enjoying their date night in a kid friendly area. We had the shrimp cocktail, salmon with Brussel spouts and they were cooked perfectly. My husband had a delicious pork chop. We were not sure what to expect from this restaurant as it just opened recently near us, but was pleasantly surprised to see good service and our food was just the way we liked it! The wine list is not worth bragging about but they do have some affordable wines that are great with your steak! the bread is good especially with the whipped butter! only wish some of the happy hour specials were available in the restaurant not just in the bar. read more

My husband and I came here for dinner date night. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and loved the heat warmers on the cold rainy night we came on. They had a person playing live music who sounded so good, I thought it was a recording!! Our waiter, Adrian was amazing, attentive and helpful. He gave us great suggestions on the menu and his service was fantastic! Everything we ordered was great too. I got the brisket tacos with a side of fried onions & a wedge salad. My husband got the lobster & salmon with Brussel sprouts and a side wedge salad. The wedge salads and brussel sprouts were amazing!!! The brisket tacos were really good, but wished they had less grease on them. My husbands salmon with lobster, believe it was called the Oscar? Manager bald with long beard was rude and told my party they were not going to be able to seat because they were understaffed. He said many people called in sick. I do not know why some people think they can treat customers poorly when the food is not that good. A manger like him just ruined the experience and I don't even feel like I want to go back to this place. read more

Wow we went here for a steak dinner at 6:30 on a Friday night - after we got seated our salad can quickly and wow if I am correct we received our dinner in less than 15-20 minutes all steaming hot! We changed our minds from steak to the Chicken Laredo (split the meal with my wife) - first time trying this dinner. WOW - amazing flavor! We will definitely order this again! We are Landry members. We have been to the Fulshear location a number of times and have never ever been disappointed. This time was different. It took about 5 minutes or so before someone came to get our drink order. We went ahead and placed our food order right away. In the meantime another waitress came to the table to let us know that she would be our server. Real nice and cordial. Time went by and we still had not gotten our salads. I saw her at a distance chatting for an extensive amount of time with some other customers. I was just about to flag down any waiter to check on our salads when the first waitress came out with our salads. Two minutes later someone brought out our entrees. My grilled chicken was severely charred on the underside but looked good on top side and was somewhat dried out. At first I thought it was just on the corner of the meat but when I took a second and third bite I and still got a mouth full of "char" I turned it over and it was burned all over. I chose broccoli as my side order. I ate some of it. I flagged down the first waitress and told her of the char and she took it back to the kitchen. The manager quickly came out and apologized saying they were replacing my order. My husband ordered chicken fried chicken which was over done too but edible and he didn't complain. In the meantime while they were redoing my order, they brought out a huge side order of broccoli so I would have something to eat while my husband was eating. When my order came out it was perfect and with even more broccoli. I was so full from all the broccoli that I could only eat half of the chicken so I took all that broccoli and half of the chicken home. My husband is a firm believer in tipping generously and usually I agree but this time I would not have given that good of a tip. On a $50 bill that included the taxes, he gave a little over a 20% tip. To sum it up, I thought the service was poor on behalf of the waitress assigned to our table and the cook was not working up to the standards of the reputation of Saltgrass. Will we go back to this location? Definitely YES. I don't feel that this is the norm for them. Will give them one more chance but if it doesn't improve, we will choose another location. read more

The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is great as well. The service we received from our waiter(Danh) was certainly below any of our previous experiences. We ordered an add on of lobster tail with our steak and it finally arrived at our table after our table had completed their entire meal. The GM came out once and it explained it was taking a little longer bc extended time is needed to prepare the lobster but it wouldn't be long. 25 minutes later he brings it out and assures us it has already been taken off our bill. Well that was not the case, we had to ask them to remove the charge for it before paying out. It just was not the kind of service we normally receive! read more

First, remember it's a chain. The up side is that there's consistency in their food and that you know what you're getting. The down side is that the menu doesn't often change, but that's ok because we haven't had a bad meal there yet in 5 visits. Servers are always friendly & engaging and know their menu. Bartenders know their stuff & are always on point. Food is always fresh & hot. I do wish the bar was a little bigger so we could hang out before or after dinner for a drink but I know they're a victim of the building's constraints. I'm not one to give a 5 star easily and i have to take a star away for the wait on a Fri or Sat night. If you join their 'club' you skip the line, but if not, expect to wait outside (heat, rain or shine) for a while. It would be better (& they'd make more $) if there was a larger bar area to wait in. read more

My wife two toddlers and I went last Monday to eat, when we walked the hostess informed us it was going to be a 20 minutes wait. This wasn't a big deal as we really wanted to eat here. My wife asked the hostess if the patio was available for seating. The hostess told us it was, at that moment a bald man with a beard who i assume is the manager walked over to the counter and rudely informed us it was going to be a 20 minute wait regardless of where we sat because four employees had quit this week. So needless to say we left and found somewhere else to eat. I can see why four employees quit, if they have to put up with that manager everyday. read more

First, really nice restaurant with a fantastic staff, especially Taylor at the bar. That part gets 5 plus stars. The food is where the 3 stars comes in. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It took about 20 minutes after placing the order for it to come out. When it did, the chicken breast was a little over an 1/8th of an inch thick and very dry. No flavor. Too much pre-breading. The Brussels were bland and not cooked enough. The brisket burger my wife ordered was excellent. This location is fairly new still so maybe it'll get better and faster. We will give it another shot someday soon. read more
