This was our second time here when visiting Orlando, came with in-laws and a disappointing experience this time. Got to say absolutely NOT the fault of our terrific server Mariangel M, who was awesome. She ran her station like a rock star. I ordered the ribeye steak which came with a salad but I substituted steamed asparagus in its place and a sweet potato . The steak didn't need any steak sauce as it was seasoned with whatever they use in this place. It was great to say the least. Asparagus and sweet potato was enjoyed as well. Wife started with French onion soup, said it was very good. Now for the disappointing part. My wife ordered the fresh Atlantic salmon & a sweet potato sub. What she was served was sockeye salmon, which she can't stand. Fresh Atlantic is flaky & light, sockeye is a more dense salmon. She showed our server the menu item, which was pictured & what was served. Wife asked to have the sweet potato returned as the plate was taken back to the kitchen. Minutes later the manager Jace came out & said he had called his home office & apologized.. indeed the fish had been substituted because they had run out. My wife ordered the stuffed mushrooms & asked again for her sweet potato. 10 minutes pass. Jace returns to table to ask wife "Can I ask how you knew the fish was the wrong kind?" So yes, that's telling us you knew the fish was substituted & just didn't tell your staff. The mushrooms come. Runny & over salted, wife can only eat one. Still no sight of the AWOL sweet potato. Jace apologizing a second time, but wife at this point just wanted to leave. Table finished eating. Sweet potato showed up so she boxed it for hotel. Honestly they should've just comped the sweet potato, but my wife doesn't like to complain so we just paid for it. Sorry about the 3 stars but my wife left hungry & servers should be informed about changes in menu availability. Also, wife is disabled & ladies room has NO disabled stall. No grip bars. It's our 2nd time here this week. Our steaks were just as good this 2nd time around. It's got a cowboy kinda vibe in the decor. Tables and booths. Low lighting. Just the perfect spot to have steaks and drinks. The kids loved every bite. We had a lot of everything. Rib eyes medium rare. Pasta. Shrimp. Busy Friday night, especially with Universal Studios closing early for grad bash night. Wasn't too long of a wait considering. Gunner was my server and he was polite, friendly and on point. We had the absolute best experience when we went there last Saturday 12/2/23. It is such a convenient location and is so relaxed and nice inside. The place was very clean. That includes the bathrooms. The food was amazing! The appetizers: Spinach dip & stuffed mushrooms were the best we've had at any restaurant in a long time. Our steaks were PERFECTLY cooked and we each ordered ours a different way. Mine was medium, my daughter's was medium rare, & my aunt's was "Pittsburgh". They were so well seasoned, we didn't need not a drop of steak sauce and oh so tender. The strawberry margaritas were so good and not lacking in any way. The water was iced cold and tasted so fresh and crisp that I didn't even need lemons. (It's very rare I can drink water without lemons at restaurants. There's even one restaurant chain that lemons don't even help their water.) Our server was Chase and he was phenomenal. So on top of things, friendly, professional, & personable. He was not only great with us but, also with my 3 yr old granddaughter. She's your normal toddler but, we've seen over the last 3 yrs that not all servers acknowledge or even try to interact with the little ones even when the little one is trying to interact with them with a simple smile or hello. One would have thought Chase has been there for a long time but, it's only been 2 months. The food and service was so great that we asked for the Manager. We let John know how happy we were and how great everything was. He was such a pleasure to speak with, as well. This is for the 8181 I drive location only as we just ate there on 6/6/25. We stayed at the Embassy Suites across the street and walked over for dinner Friday night. I ordered the filet and lobster tail, French onion soup and a salad. She ordered filet with baked potato and salad. No appetizer this time. We were asked if we wanted the fresh bread before the meal and we always say yes to that. The bread was not warm or fresh. It was cold and hard. I wasn't going to let that bother me though. The two salads arrived with no problem. Then I received my French onion soup. After breaking through the melted cheese top, I took my first spoonful of soup and it was room temperature. Not hot, at best it might have been warm. French onion soup needs to be served and eaten piping hot for it to be any good. I didn't say anything to the server about the bread or soup. I still had high hopes for my entree. I ordered my filet medium. From the first bite I could see it was medium rare towards the edge and as I got to the center it was basically rare. But that wasn't the worst part. The steak was also only warm. Maybe if it was cooked properly it might have been hot? The lobster tail was fine. No complaints with that. My wife's steak was cooked the way she ordered it and I'm glad because if I had to get one incorrectly cooked steak I want it to be mine and not hers. She tasted my soup right when it came out and she of course agreed it wasn't hot, and she also didn't enjoy the bread since it was on the cold stale side. When the server picked up the pates he did ask how everything was and I told him about the bread and soup but did not mention the steak because that really didn't bother me too much. Just wish it would have been hot. We live in Melbourne Fl. and our go to Longhorn is in The Avenues, Viera, and in 20 years we have not once been disappointed in our meals there. I went around 730pm on a weekday. It was very busy. I ordered for carry out. First thing, I got a caesar salad without the caeser salad dressing. Since I made it back to the hotel, I did not want to go all the way back to the restaurant to get the dressing. What a waste of money. Excellent! It's been a few years since I've had a Steak at this place. I was afraid that the food quality had gone down the hill like many restaurants in the area. Well, that's not the case! I had the Wild West Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious and addicting. Will definitely order that again. I ordered a medium rare Outlaw Ribeye and it was PERFECT. Juicy with tons of flavor. No sauce needed at all. The baked potato was good (it's difficult to mess that up). I also got some grilled mushrooms and onions as a side, along with a Caesar salad. My son had the ribeye sandwich with fries and grilled corn on the cob. He said that everything was great. In my opinion, you cant get a good steak at this price range anywhere in the I-Drive area. The restaurant was clean, the décor was great and the staff is fantastic. Our server Olivia V. was great! One thing to note, at the end of our meal, the Chef came by our table to check on us and ask how the food was. Those are the little things that make a restaurant stand above the rest. I rarely complain at restaurants because of my strong aversion to having my food or drinks spat in. I used to work in food service in college, and take it from me, this really does happens ALL THE TIME! Instead, I use platforms like this to make my thoughts known. This was my first time in a Longhorn. I don't go out for steak much because it's pricey and frankly, I haven't been to a steakhouse that makes a better steak than I can. So first, I like the way steaks are seasoned at Longhorn. What I like about Longhorn ends here. What I don't like is that LongHorn doesn't know how to cook a steak! All four steaks were ordered medium rare. All four steaks (three different kinds of steaks - porterhouse, ribeye, strip, and 2 sirloins - came to the table with most parts of the steak being RARE! When most of your steak is purplish-red, that's not "medium rare"! Ate as much as we could and took the rest home to recook/reheat. And you can guess how reheated steak turns out! The service. Have you ever had that experience when you covet of the next table's amazing server? Yep that was us. Our server was so *%&#@! slow and she would just disappear! I asked for steak sauce and it came more than 10 mins later when we were almost done eating! We finished our meal pretty quickly for the reason stated above, and waited for more than 9 mins for her to return so we could ask for boxes for our pounds of raw steaks. Yes, we started timing her! 6 mins later she returned with boxes. At this time, I asked for the check which she promptly put on the table. But then she didn't come back for another 12 min to take payment! Then she disappeared AGAIN and didn't return with our receipts for 8 minutes. That's way more than a HALF HOUR just waiting to end this TERRIBLE dining experience! BTW, the server at the neighboring tables really was amazing! read more

Came here yesterday for a late lunch. We were seated immediately Tyler was our server. He was very nice and accommodating. I ordered my usual 6oz Flo's filet, medium rare, with the 4oz lobster tail. I also added a four count red rock shrimp. But I left off the tomato sauce and seasoning. I had a mixed greens salad with croutons and white balsamic dressing. Impeccable. My daughter had the chicken tenders with oranges. My friend had the 6oz Renegade Steak with the Steakhouse Mac n Cheese and Loaded Mashed potatoes. I ordered Strawberry lemonade with my water but it wasn't as good as I thought so I just drank my water. I also noticed that the seasoning was a bit spicy, which I noted in another review recently at a longhorn in a different city. Tyler informed me that I could ask for light seasoning in the future. I'll keep that in mind. Overall, I enjoy this location and we need more servers like Tyler out there. The restroom was also clean. I had an amazing time. The food was amazing. I ordered lobster, baked potato, and rice. My daughter had chicken tenders and broccoli. I had a bud light and she had a refreshing strawberry lemonade. My meal was beyond delicious, cooked perfectly, and came out rather quickly. I am currently nibbling on them from my hotel room. The staff was amazing. My wife and I were given a gift card and decided to use it here. This particular Longhorn is similar to others. Seating inside is booths and tables. There is also a bar area with TVs. Salad was presentable and not just thrown onto the plate. They have several dressing options to choose from also. We ordered the steak parings. Mine was sirloin and shrimp and my wife chose sirloin and chicken. Both steaks were exactly the way we ordered... hot and juicy. The shrimp come on a bed of rice, but if you don't want too many carbs, you can opt for a different side like broccoli. I also ordered a new signature side, Cauliflower Au Gratin -- a half-head of cauliflower, roasted and topped with garlic cream sauce, provolone and Parmesan cheese their words (LOL). If you like cauliflower and cheese, then this is it... it reminded of the sauce they use on certain pasta dishes. All in all, we had a great date night and my wife took some of her food home.
