Salty Bear Brewing might become my new go-to spot to watch games at. Came here for my first time last weekend and had a great experience. Good beer, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. I really loved the decor, feel, and vibes. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you enjoy breweries. You will not be disappointed!

I love the atmosphere here. There's plenty of seating for big parties or if you're here by yourself. The beer though is what gets us coming back. I love their hazy IPA!

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Every beer I tried was excellent, and I took home a crowler. It was a cool and open atmosphere in a unique location. I wish they had food there, that's the only negative, being that I was super hungry at the time. Give it a shot!

Cute brewery area right next to Booth by Bryant! I made a quick stop with my boyfriend to grab a drink on our date and it was a great way to end the night. I got the Bear Moon White Ale and it was great as expected. Enough seating at the bar and small tables around if you wanted a spot to chill with friends!

We found this place while visiting The Camp and stopped in for a beer with our dog and watched some football. It's a clean spot with plenty of seating, great beer, and a friendly bartender. They also have picnic tables outside, which is a nice bonus. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area!

At first, I was a little bummed they didn't have ciders, not even in a can, but the seltzers are the bomb!! Me and a friend got their right at open, the doors were open, the breeze was beautiful, and the playlist was superb. It's kinda cool, because you can order food from other spots at The Camp and since they don't serve food, it gets brought to you here.

Cute, small brewery to come with friends! I'm not a huge beer drinker but I liked that they had two types of seltzers. I had the California Citrus Seltzer which was on tap. The flavor was tasty and it wasn't too sweet. The second seltzer was a Strawberry Lemonade which comes in a can. This also was really refreshing and not too sweet. They have a fairly large outdoor table seating area here as well. They had a vendor making pizzas on a Friday night, so that food is an option!

Attended the live music yesterday and it was such a cool vibe. Parking was a hot mess express but that's cause it's apart of the camp in Costa Mesa. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Restrooms for customers. They don't have food onsite but there's restaurants within the camp that you can take in. They had a pizza vendor yesterday and it was really delicious. I had a strawberry blonde and it did not disappoint. Definitely coming back!

Salty Bear is a perfect spot to start your bar hopping night at. They have a relatively small indoor seating area but outdoors is where it's at. Easy access to the parking lot and surrounding bars, and can get very packed starting on Thursday nights. The bartenders might pay more attention to a customer of the opposite sex, but overall they'll treat you well and answer whichever questions you have. It's a staple you can't miss at the Camp, whether it be a weekday or weekend. Make sure to stop by and have a drink or two!

We came in for a couple beers after Speakeasy at CAMPOUT Costa Mesa. This brewery is spacious and cozy with indoor and outdoor seatings. They serve tacos outside and customers can order food from a few other restaurants here. We tried a dark beer and a seltzer. I have to say that seltzer had to be one of the best I've ever had! So tasty and refreshing. The service was fast and friendly as well. A solid brewery to try tasty beers and hang out!

First stop on our Friday night's brewery tour! I never come to The Camp at night so my friends introduced to what they call "brewery lane". Salty Bear seems to have a handful of fruity seltzers and lighter beers on their menu. Your group has the option of sitting in the well lit inside area or sitting at the dim and relaxing outdoor tables.

Would have scored higher if it had more than one dark beer. Another long overdue review - came here in a self created brewery tour for my article - https://www.travelingwellforless.com/costa-mesa-breweries/. Great laid back, California decor. Lots of IPAs for the hops fans. Good service.

Awesome little brewery with a small beer garden in the lab. We went there as we waited our turn for folks pizza. I tried a few different pints. All great. Live dj. Taco stand outside. Amazing vibe. Will be back again

Hello! What's your phone number? The one listed isn't working. I left my sunglasses there :)

Do they serve wine or non-alcoholic drinks like soda too?

They have water, of course, and honest juice pouches for kids. Haven't seen them mind if you bring in your own (nonalcoholic) soda if that's your jam.

Anyone know if it's dog friendly?

Yes it is! Inside and outside!

What is the phone number to the brewery?

Most of the seating is outdoors with picnic style tables covered by canopies, making it a comfortable place to hang out, especially when the weather is nice. Ordering is simple, you go inside to place your order, and when your food is ready, they give you a buzzer so you can come back in to pick it up. They also have self-serve water dispensers, which is a nice touch if you need a refill. The food menu offers a good variety. I ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich with fries, and it was a satisfying meal. I'm not much of a beer drinker myself, but my friends really enjoyed the selection of ales and hard seltzers. One thing I appreciated was the atmosphere. Even with a good crowd, the noise level was low enough that everyone could comfortably carry on a conversation without shouting. If you're a beer lover looking for a laid-back place to relax after work with friends, Green Cheek Beer Co. is definitely worth checking out. We were able to reserve 2 tables for after work and I love that music isn't blasting at max volume so you can actually talk to each other without having to yell. There were also babies and doggos, so it's a spot for anyone and everyone. I had the Lavy Lemonade seltzer and I would rec (comes in 10 oz or 16oz, with the latter only being $7.50). Also sneaked some of my coworker's pretzel that came with cheese and mustard to dip - that was yumm and definitely a shareable size. But I was caught off guard by the lack of music and overall how quiet the whole place was. I went on a Friday and there weren't many people there, which isn't bad just something I had noticed. Very stark comparison to the other breweries in the area, which were much more lively. The beers itself were decent; however, there were no prices posted anywhere on the chalk menu, or the paper menu from what I saw. I ordered 2 drinks, one of which needed to have the keg replaced. When the attendant returned she said they were actually completely out, but the drink I had ordered was a double IPA, and without any prices posted or itemized receipt, I wasn't sure what I was able to get instead. The attendant then tells me "if you get something cheaper, I won't change the price" which confused me. A double IPA is typically more expensive than a regular beer or seltzer and she didn't even offer a refund to compensate for the fact that it was sold out and I had already paid for it. This could have been mitigated if the prices were available or she offered me an itemized receipt. For 2 beers I paid $20 before tipping. As a customer I'd like to be informed of what I'm getting charged for, and if I'm charged for something more and given less, I'd like a partial refund. In the end I got my beers and sat down. The brewery itself doesn't serve food, so it was nice being able to bring my own food and est what I want. Again, up until 30 minutes of being there, no music was playing, so very off putting vibe. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience here and don't recommend anyone coming here when other breweries are in tbe area and much more clear with pricing and have a more lively vibe.

For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer
