I picked a design I had had my eyes on for at least 4 years, and looked forward to getting a hammer and anvil to mark 3 years of perseverance and willpower. Chris ruined the experience for me and turned it from a celebration of my own achievement to a showcase of his ineptitude and idiocy. From the moment I set foot in the shop, he gave me crap about the design: the placement of the anvil and pincers, the overall design, etc. Despite the fact that I provided my own reference material and gave clear instructions about what I wanted done, he half-assed the job and finished the tattoo in half an hour with the skill of Napoleon Dynamite. I felt revolted by his work as soon as I got back to my place and from the first moment I looked at it in the mirror, knew I wanted it removed. Now, as a seasoned tattoo collector with more than 20 on my skin, I am having to pay 3 thousand dollars and endure blistering lasers once a month because of this imbecile man's belief that he is anything other than someone with a skill (HA) who lends his abilities to others to make their vision come true. If you want to have your positive tattoo experience shat on and to endure tattoo removal for years afterwards, I highly recommend booking with Chris at Oxygen Ink.

Myself and my friend got our tattoos done (simple design and one color) with Roger and then my other friend with Danny. You'll see the difference in the pics. Roger didnt even clean the stencil off because I'm sure he knew we would have seen his crappy work. The fact he used a stencil and these were simple tattoos and he still managed to mess it up says alot. Roger is a big fat RED flag. I went back after a couple hours as I started to see the issues on the tattoos. He supposedly tried to fix it but it was still crap. And then I wanted my money back and he said that only the owner can give a refund even though Roger was the one who took our CASH.He said I would have to talk to the owner, Emerson. Yet the owner wasnt there, conveniently. Well that night we flew back home. But I messaged Emerson on here, never got a reply. And then on Instagram, if that even was the owner, and we went back and forth and ofcourse he said let it heal and then get back with me. Which I did. Same thing he said to my friend when she messaged him. Roger is an artist for sure a Tattoo CON Artist. DON'T BOOK WITH HIM AND DEF DON'T BELIEVE HIM! The only job he should have at a tattoo place is as a front desk receptionist or outside twirling around a sign for people to get tattoos with way better artists. They should have just done the right thing.

I got a portrait for my brother by Alien. I just wanna say that I felt so welcomed by the staff and felt all kinds of hospitality from all members at the store. Alien and I discussed the placement and size of the tattoo and right after, he got to making the stencil.He made sure I was pleased with the placement of my tattoo. After finishing the stencil, we got on with the tattoo. He talked to me about life lessons and we touched base on why I got my tattoo. He knew how much I was going through life with loss and made me feel better. He took his time perfecting my portrait and I respect that so much because of how precious this piece means to me. We took breaks and they gave me water and coffee. When we finally finished the piece, I was amazed at how amazing it looked. It looks absolutely realistic. This is hands down my favorite tattoo and I have gotten compliments from friends and family about how real it looks. I just want to thank Alien and the staff for showing so much hospitality. Not only was the tattoo amazing but also the experience and that's why I feel like Salvation tattoo deserves five stars. Hopefully I get another portrait done soon by you guys again. Cesar Cifuentes (@tattoosbycisaac) of Salvation Tattoo in Miami drew up the cutest little palm trees with little wave for me and my sister in law's to remember our little Miami girls trip ! We love them !! Cesar took his time with us girls trying to decide what we wanted and drew up many designs for us to pick from, in the end we all decided to do the same design, but he gave each of us a little bit different palm tree, so we could also be unique. Very close convenient . I live in north bay village so was happy to find a local shop. Clean and people are personable. I went after work based off ratings and promotions. I am used to tattoo shops so understanding timing I was three minutes late and another person was taken before me- resulting in me waiting over an hour instead of thirty minutes (which I was told) that sucked and I had to come back to get my tattoo the next day. But i am happy with outcome and they made up for the days prior let down ! Thanks guys! read more

My review is exclusively to all the staff regarding the Normandy location. Especially Jose and Alien. These guys have made my experience enlighteful and exciting! They are currently guiding me through my tattoo journey. I plan on getting all my pieces through salvation! Alien as an artist will tell you the truth of a bad idea but always counter with a better creation, you will never end up with a tattoo you regret, I Highly reccomened! read more

Oh my goodness, okay. My friends and I recently fell into Salvation by complete chance while on vacation. We had such awesome experiences while there. Jessie was way cool and an incredible artist.
