Salvatori's Leo - Salvatori's is consistent no matter which place you seem to go. I find them to have good service, clean spaces and great food! The beadsticks are a nice starter. It comes with two sauces. The marinara is thin and a bit spicy. The cheese is thicker in consistency with a mildly cheese taste. No real adders to the cheese to give it extra flavor. The sticks are thinner and shorter than possible those others offer. The beard is most and soft with a nice crisp to the surface. The buttery and Parmesan cheese taste a top of stick is tasty. The Italian wedding soup was also delicious. The meatballs were plentiful and right sized. The soup had a nice warmth and comforting flavor. The cavatelli pasta and sausage dish was a bit puzzling. The pasta was cooked to perfection - tender but firm. The white sauce was smooth and creamy. It lacked an Alfredo cheesy rich flavor. I tried adding more Parmesan cheese but it didn't seem to "cheese" it up much. There was a moderate amount of sausage in ten dish. The sausage didn't have a very strong flavor. I tried sprucing this up with black pepper with moderate success. The red peppers and other ads-ins where nicely cooked and added nice taste. Overall the dish was good. read more

The food is generally good. Although I've had some run ins with spoiled tasting food. I went there earlier tonight and got their Manicotti, which is generally my favorite but the cheese mixture tastes very off. It tastes sour. Everything else was great. The service and the Bruschetta. Can never go wrong with Bruschetta. read more

The food was so delicious and huge portion sizes. Our server Fernando was very friendly and tentative. We left him one of the biggest tips ever. I always save my big tips for people like him. And I have left $2 tips for terrible servers. We were seated pretty quickly but there is always a wait because it is such a popular place. We will definitely be back. read more

Food = so good! The homemade breadsticks were so delectably soft. The garlic butter was liquid - wish i would have ordered 2 cheeses. Perfectly seasoned. The pizza is thin, but good. I ordered a small and could have easily eaten the whole thing in one sitting if I didn't try something else. I also ordered the spaghetti aglio e olio - very oily but delicious. I ordered the half portion and it could easily be 2-3 meals by itself. It was even better the next day! Service = super fast. I ordered take out and it was ready as expected. They were very nice and friendly when i walked in. Ambiance = small town feeling. Very interesting take on the Italian beef. It was very good even though I'm used to the Beefs in Chicago. It was different and flavored well. Service was great but I didn't expect it to be since there were just a ton of teens serving. They were great! Nothing to fear. The restaurant reminded me of an older Pizza Hut, just bigger. Nice little Italian restaurant in the area! Cozy place ideal for a romantic dinner or date. The food is awesome delicious. We started with the house potatoes as appetizer and they were very tasty. Also we had a house salad and it was fresh with diced tomatoes and other veggies. We ordered a calzone veggie supreme, and it was both tasty and enjoyable. It wasn't the type of calzone that is hyper stuffed with cheese. It was very nicely balanced with veggies and cheese. The spaghetti aglio was also delicious. This one is an spicy plate, but I enjoyed it as it wasn't hot at all. Service was good but food may take some time to cook, as most dishes are made from scratch, bu the wait is worth it!!! Oh my goodness! Had a taste for some Italian food and my husband lucked up on this place. We just moved here so every restaurant is new to us. They got it right! Here's what we ordered: *chicken fettuccine-- yum! I truly appreciate that they put a LOT of chicken in this dish. Normally you have to ration the meat and there's a ton of noodles, but there was a great balance of the two. Very creamy but not overwhelming. I did cook some garlic shrimp at home to add to this dish which made it phenomenal. *ziti-- my husband's dish. He thoroughly enjoyed it. *garlic bread (not pictured)-- thee absolute best I've ever had! There's a garlic butter dipping sauce that comes with it that's very intriguing and leaves you wanting more!! I poured the dipping sauce over my dish which was fantastic. Salvatori's is my fave place in FW. I typically go to the New Haven location but this is my favorite! Super nice inside and very spacious (other location is very small). The service was great - manager rounded TWICE to see how I was and thank me for coming. That was nice. The food is superb here. I loved the chicken parmesan. I chose 3 stars for this location because there is a disconnect between their online menu, cash register, and physical item. Last night, I ordered a Full Cavatelli and Sausage. Their menu clearly states is tossed in marina (red sauce). When I got home I found the order to be in white sauce. I drove back, presented my receipt and order confirmation, they told me my item was right, the description on the site is wrong. I don't send food back so came home tried it and tossed it. I hate to waste money, but I refuse to send any food back. In fairness, they staff offered to make it with red sauce, I declined, I would have preferred my money, but that was not an available option. This location is new and maybe just fine tuning. A friend from out of town came for a visit and wanted Italian. Decided to try Salvatori's. It was the best decision. Seated in an area where we could talk and eat and not bother others around us since it was a visit. The food...perfect Italian flavor and the portions were commensurate with prices and quality. I'm surprised by the number of 5-star reviews. We found it to be just ok. I think overall that Ziano's is a better option. Boyfriend started with the breadsticks; Ziano's are definitely much better. These were flatter and drier. I had the wedding soup, which was pretty good. It had a nice balance of meatballs to veg, and a good flavor. It was pretty greasy though. My boyfriend had the chicken parm, which was a huge portion. The chicken was very nice and juicy; that was the best part. The marinara was watery and pretty tasteless. The pasta was weird. I'm gluten-free, and I swear it was gluten-free pasta (he didn't order that). It had the gummy texture that is typical of gluten-free when overcooked. I had the mussels. I hate to say that they were slightly overcooked and chewy. It's easy to overcook mussels. Next time I'll make them at home. I had the same, slightly more "brothy" version of the marinara on the mussels. It was just ok. We also tried the (berry) tiramisu (which the BF loved), and cannoli, which was just ok. Over here - everything averaged out "just ok." I will say the people at Salvatori's are very nice and friendly. But--I think we will stick with Ziano's. read more

This is what Leo has been waiting for. The pizza is perfection, the salad is exceptional, the prices are reasonable and the menu is vast. There will be something for everyone at Salvatori's! We have tried a variety of items and will continue to sample different things as we continue to order from them. Right up front will say we had a great experience. Amiyah, our waitress did a great job and the manager, Chloe, introduced herself and assisted when needed. Service was timely and professional. Very clean facility. Food was steaming hot upon delivery through dinner up to boxing up to take leftovers home. All four of us were very satisfied with our choices. Wife ordered the Italian beef with myself ordering the Cavatelli and Sausage. Both went very well with the Chianti wine. The side cucumber salad was crisp and refreshing. As with most restaurants having some great dishes and some not so great dishes...Salvatori's is no different. Their lasagna and especially their beef rolls are just awesome! However, their pizza and Bruschetta are not. They really should go back to the drawing board with these two items to improve them. I will also note regarding their "Bruschetta"...you get 4 small pieces of toasted bread and a few small containers of the topping for $8. I was embarrassed for them in addition to feeling ripped off. Went to the new Salvatori's at Leo Crossing. Great service and food. It was busy but no wait. Our waiter was new, but very good. We had Bosco sticks for an appetizer. I had the ravioli, two beef, two cheese, my husband had lasagna. Food was hot and delicious. The house made Sangria was so good we had to buy x bottle. This place is small in size, but great food. This was our first time trying Salvatori's but we have heard good things. This restaurant is small and it was packed on a regular Thursday night so it was kinda loud but the wait was short and we didn't mind the noise so much. The breadsticks were good as was the garlic butter but the cheese that came with them tasted like ez cheese to me. My wife and I both got the small plates of food and it was really good but my sausage and peppers baked ziti only had maybe 6 or 6 little slices of sausage on it. It tasted great but the plate was so huge and there was so little meat. They offer large and small plates and we both got the small. For us the small was way too big too! I probably ate 3 meals off of it but was searching for more meat each time I ate it. Overall it was a good experience. A couple tweaks and this place would be amazing. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Don't let the gas station outside of the restaurant keep you away. read more
