This place is a scam. Google the name of the Dr. Alireza Moheb, founder of Unlimited Smiles. Guess hustling cocaine wasn't making enough money, so scamming the public with shitty dental practice was the next go to. In terms of the treatment I received at this particular location, it was pretty much the same as everyone else's. Unfortunately just like others, I did not do any research before hand. This place preys on people who thought the convince of a local dentist would be ideal. To the painful and shoddy dental work, additional charges, endless phone calls of them asking to make another appointment, I knew something wrong. After taking my experience to another dentist and showing them my bill from unlimited smiles they were outraged. Well I was convinced to get the PCD/DMO from my employer because it offered more benefits. The dentist offered was this one Unlimited Smiles. There was no other option at the time so I went with it. Had my first appointment in late February. My mom was in town from Oregon so she came along. We sat in the waiting room for quite awhile. Finally I overheard the receptionist mention to another employee the computer was down. Apparently they had no fail safe in case the computer went down. I finally piped up and asked if I should reschedule she said probably so I did. And we left. About a week later had my appointment and my God the upsell. They wouldn't even entertain the phrase "only what my insurance covers". They said I needed a deep cleaning. Also apparently dentists are no longer competent enough to diagnose if a tooth needs a root canal or not so they said I needed an endodontist referral. Anyway because it had been quite awhile since my last appointment I went ahead and agreed to a deep clean and all they proposed (I know I'm crazy) so they schedule an appointment for a half mouth cleaning (huh??). When I had the half mouth cleaned the russian lady was rather brutal with the numbing shot. Side note: I was never told I would need to be numbed and I had a client meeting an hour after my appointment!. Anyway she got to work on me after being numbed. Well the last part involved her squirting some kind of liquid which I assumed was like mouth wash or medicated something or another. Anyway I have a bilateral cleft lip and palate and due to my parents splitting and the work never getting done the palate is still semi opened. This lady apparently NEVER worked with a cleft lip. She squirted that liquid up my palate and the fluid entered my sinuses and came out my nose and also down my throat. I was gagging and gasping. But he kept it going. She had some dentist I hadn't met come in and berate me for never having the surgery on my mouth finished. Anyway I left there with the intent of changing dentist but I was going to have to wait til open enrollment almost 9 months later. I unfortunately was out of town during open enrollment and thought I was stuck with these guys. So I kept blowing off their phone calls. About 2 weeks ago I got some bogus $100 bill from them when all my payments had been made on site. So after a tooth problem I relented and I went to schedule an appointment for today and they were bent on the deep clean and I had a tooth in need of care. I said I decline the deep clean and want whatever my insurance covers. They wouldn't listen. Anyway called my employer and found there was 2 other options now available to me. I took to Facebook for a referral between the other 2 and I'm happy to say I'll be seeing a new and better dentist tomorrow. DO NOT GO TO UNLIMITED SMILES!!! read more

This review has been long overdue. I'm not someone who enjoys going to the dentist and had made it clear I needed to get as much done in one visit as possible (deep cleaning and a filling). The tech who does the cleaning was great and very professional, but the dentist himself was another story. The tech completed the cleaning and numbed my mouth to prep for the filling, then about 10 minutes later came in and told me in quote "the dentist is too tired to do your filling, we'll need to do it another day". I'm an understanding person, but that is unprofessional and unacceptable to not even come in yourself and to be "too tired" to work when it was 4pm. They also over charged me and the receptionist gave me attitude because I was supposed to come in the day prior for my filling (which was a lie). I have not been back since and tell everyone I know not to go to this establishment. They turnover dentists a lot too and this particular dentist was creepy. If i could give this place a minus -5 stars I would my experience with them has been a nightmare and a half. They are extremely disorganized no one is on the same page when it comes to anything I've literally been waiting to get a root canal for almost 6 month and actually 8 if I count it since Nov when I found out I needed one. They always promise to follow back up with you once they research info and never do .....you literally have to stalk there office to get answers from them. They just dont get stuff done as they should, putting patients health at risk while you wait for paperwork to be faxed, filed or submitted. It should never take 6 months for someone to get a root canal then they have the audacity to try point blame on the patient as to why it's taking so long to get things done. I've been referred to other dental offices by them that dont even except my dental insurance. Then on top of everything else they never even bothered to tell me they had a new dentist because supposedly the last guy never showed back up for work so they were without a dentist. Then I show up one day in the afternoon to follow up with my paperwork and they had the doors locked and when they let me in they said they had no dentist because he was on vacation ....its always something with this place always an excuse or a reason behind all of there eff ups instead of just owning there issues they try and justify them and then wonder why patients end up blowing up in their face once they've had enough of there drama. By the way I'm on my 3rd dose of antibiotics they keep giving me antibiotics and we all know that's not good to take for a long period of time even though I was told I was getting an open and med procedure that's what was scheduled but when I went in for the appt they flipped the script on me stating my insurance wouldn't cover my root canal if I have this procedure done so if you know that why in the hell would you waste my time coming in and not verify this before booking me an appt...just retarded. I thinks it's pretty bad when you have to write a review without even going to the offfice. I called to set up an appointment and was given a late (530 pm) time because I work. The day prior somebody called and confirmed my appointment. The day of another receptionist called and asked if I could change times because the dentist wasn't available. I work and therfore could not come in earlier. I rescheduled for a.m. time (7ish) and asked to be notified well in advance if changes needed to be made. Again the day prior I got a call asking to come in at 11. Needless to say I cancelled and will find another dentist. It seems like the dentist cancels all the time. They definitely don't offer 7am-7pm like signs outside the office say. If you work, have kids or need to schedule a specific time Do NOT GO HERE!! They will likely expect you to reschedule. read more

So I decided to go to this dentist because I appreciated the fact that they were open weekends. But that was the only thing that I could say was a positive. When I got there I was waiting for at least an hour and when the dentist came in she didn't even know why I was there. I should have left then. But I really needed my dental work done. So I waited, the dentist was jumping back and forward between patients and left me with one of the assistants to finish the temporary crown. Between all the back and forward one of them messed up, because when I got home my mouth kept filling with blood. I'd post a picture but it was disgusting and alarming. I went back and pointed this out to which the dentist and a different assistant stepped out and quickly worked attempted fix whatever was wrong. They managed to stop the bleeding and I was sent home, only to have the bleeding persist. I almost ended up going to the ER due to this. Horrible Dentist office. Never the same dentists working there. Please don't go here. They never answer the phone and are always closed and just make up services that you need. I had a crown put on a year ago and then went some where else recently to get a tooth extracted next to the crown. The crown came off and the oral surgeon said it was only a temporary crown. They never put the final crown on. Been calling them for over a week to get in and get it fixed and they still haven't answered. I have stopped by everyday and they are always closed. WORST DENTIST EVER! DO NOT COME HERE! This is probably the worst place of business I have ever been to. I wish I read all the reviews before ever stepping foot into this place. Let's just say that they are SCAMMERs and run a very shady business. I'm honestly surprised how this place is still up and running and haven't had their license taken away. They are a bunch of sales people. They try to convince patients to get procedures that they don't even need only to have you pay more out of pocket later on. After reading some of the reviews on here, the #1 thing they like to tell ppl is that you need a deep cleaning. They will lie to you in the beginning about the cost to suck you in only to bill you hundreds of dollars later on. They are very unorganized, unprofessional and have poor time management. Be prepared to wait hours. Make sure to keep records of every payment you made and have an itemized receipt of all the cost because they will try to bill you a year later claiming that you owe more money. A year after my last visit they claimed that I still owed money even after being told multiple times by different ppl at the office that I didn't owe anything. I found out later on that they have been charging me billing fees for months for late payments that I was never made aware of. No notifications, no phone calls, nothing. I guess instead of sending the bill to my insurance company they sent the bill to me a year later saying that my insurance would not cover it. I thought that was really odd so I called my insurance only to find out they never recieved the claim. Hmmmm. Sounds to me ppl at this office can't figure out how to do their job. After a long and messy battle going back and forth with their office and billing department (who never answers calls) I was finally able to clear the mess that they made. My family & I have had a great experience. Dentistry isn't cheap. When it comes 2 dental health, you get what you pay 4, so don't think that any office will be cheap. Obvi, if you take phenomenal care of your teeth, then dentistry will be much cheaper. However, if you forget 2 floss OMG then, like most Americans, you WILL get gum disease. The staff was super friendly, esp 4 a Saturday & despite the wait, which was not so bad after I was given my own little baby room to play with my son, feed & change his diaper. After reading the reviews on the previous Yelp page, I was glad Marjan was our dentist & not Dr. Kim. Thank you 4 the wonderful experience thus far! PS - Get a Koala in both bathrooms for mothers AND fathers 2 change diapers at your business. Why no toothbrushes, toothpaste & floss 4 your clients?!! That's a given at any dental office. read more

The professionalism here is the worst. You can have one dentist tell you what's going on with your mouth and ask you to come back for more work, but when the receptionist makes the appointment they schedule you with just any dentist. They do t schedule you with the person you already been seeing. They don't ask which dentist you want to see or is it ok for me to schedule you with another dentist. Just so unprofessional. So today I had appointment thinking I was going to see the same dentist I seen 2 weeks ago. Nope they gave this very u professional dentIst name Gary Krupa. Remind you he came in the room didn't introduce himself, didn't ask who I was or nothing. He just laid me back and start numbing me. He guy took the numbing gel wiped it on my gums, he didn't wait any time before he start poking me with the needle. Didn't wait after that.He started drilling in my mouth, I was telling him it hurt he was moving my hands tells me that it's just vibration. I told I could fill everything. He continued, he start breaking off my tooth. I felt everything. I stopped him and told hIm that he was hurting me. He got mad and threw everything doyand said he wasn't doing this. Left the room and never came back. Refuse to ask me what can he do to make the situation better, NOTHING!!! I was left in the room with half my tooth broke off, then I was told I needed to come back another day to see someone else. This was straight patient abandonment. That dentist doesn't care about his patients. I was left in that room by myself for hella long because nobody knew what to do. When I arrived at unlimited smiles I initially felt relieved. My face was swollen and I knew I had an infection. I arrived at 9:45am. When Dr. Moheb reviewed my xrays he said I had an abscess and needed a root canal. He then proceeded to tell me about implants and devised 38k proposal. He tried to get me to agree to this plan. I was only there for an emergency. After over an hour of sitting in the chair, he proceeded with a root canal. He then left out if the room leaving the suction in my mouth. He was gone over 30 minutes. I pulled it out my mouth and it hurt so bad. When he came back in to do my root canal, he started it then left again for over an hour saying the abscess has to drain. Finally, Dr. Lin came in and seemed confused, unorganized and uncertain on what to do or equipment to use. I felt very uneasy as I listened to their conversation. He proceeded to say my canals were left open to drain and that they would finish the root canal on my next appointment. I asked was that safe, he said yes the infection needed to drain then went to make me a temporary to cover it. He had the assistant to make me a temporary but after several failed attempts he had to come do it. He put too much material in my mouth it went near my throat, so I took it out. He didn't seem happy. He did it again and I tried to tell him he put too much material on it but he forced me to keep it in my mouth. It took everything in me to not pull it out. I literally started having a panic attack sitting there. I'd had root canals before and never experienced this before. Also, my past dentist would not proceed with a root canal when it was discovered I had an infection. Each of them treated the infection first then had me come back a week later. In any event, he had his assistant to seat the temporary and she had a hard time. It was too high. She filed it down several times and I told her it was still high. She said I could deal with it for just a couple weeks. So, when Dr. Lin came in I told him the crown was too high so he shaved it down in my mouth. I never had that experience before. Typically they shave it out of my mouth. He then proceeded to look at my upper tooth on the opposite side. and gave me a filling. He asked the assistant to make two temporaries on that side. My question, if he only did a filling and not a root canal why was he making two temporaries? The assistant attempted to make the temporaries. She left material in my mouth, broke the temporary in my mouth I had to spit it out and almost caused me to swallow the second temporary crown. She then broke the filling Dr. Lin has just completed. I spit out a big chunk of it and I could feel the space with my tongue. I advised him that she had broke my filling and I thought it needed to be refilled as it was now sensitive to the air and prior to coming in I had no sensitivities. He said he did not need to refill it. Honestly, I think he was ready to go it was now after 5pm. I questioned him again and said it was sensitive to the air so he added me if I wanted more anesthesia, I told him no that wasn't my concern. He then proceeded to shave the tooth in my mouth and I could feel the air. I told him abs he again said I told you I could give you more anesthesia. I again refused. To this day, it's sensitive to cold and hot abs I can't eat on that side. After he completed the procedure, I asked the assists by to ask him if I needed an antibiotic because of the abscess. He said I did not. I asked her if he was sure because of the infection, he again said I did not. So, I thought maybe he gave me medication when it was being so called drained. That was not the case. Two days later, my face was swollen, i felt like I was having nerve pain. I felt very sick and knew my infection was still their. I called their office and informed them how I was feeling and asked if they would prescribe me an antibiotic. She advised me I didn't need one. I again insisted I be prescribed one. She said the dentist isn't here. I asked if she could call him. Later I called back and she said she had paged him and she had not heard from him yet. So, we texted him ourselves then called back the office and I was prescribed the antibiotics. I took them immediately ave after two days I felt much better. I emailed my dentist and shared my experience and their office called me immediately and asked if I was prescribed antibiotics. Thank goodness I knew better. I will not go back! I'll pay them for what they did. To this day I have sensitivity now on both sides of my mouth, both to cold and hot abs to top it off the crush cane off on day two and had not eaten anything. I had fillings to get done now and they first rescheduled me to two weeks later and then when I come in now after leaving work early I'm told I have to reschedule cause the dentist is caught up in something else. After having a crown for a few months, it still doesn't feel right. I went back 3 times to get one crown done. The first one broke as soon as they applied pressure to put it on, the second temp had a gap it didn't even touch my gums, I had to go back and get another temp. Finally the second crown arrives and it wasn't put on right. I thought maybe it was just me because I was sore from going back a second time and having massive injections to numb my mouth, not to mention the whole side of my face and nose was numb! After a few weeks i went back, the crown felt wobbly, just not on correctly. I've had crowns before with no issues. I only started coming here due to my old dentist doesn't open weekends and I no longer work in Sacramento. So I end up getting another temp while my 3rd crown arrives. The day it comes in the dentist puts it on and I can tell it's wrong, I told him it didn't feel right before he cemented this thing down. He takes it off and plays with it until it feels like it's sitting right. My gums where thrashed from the frequent removing and temporary crowns that I couldn't tell if the pain to chew was from that or the crown. Now I am looking for a new dentist to fix this, I can't bite on it , everything bothers it, it wiggles. I went in to establish care and for a concern with a discomfort, next thing I know I get the x rays done and told I need a crown, and I started getting letters from my old insurance saying this crown was not medically necessary, the medical record where not sufficient To pay for the claim.. So is my insurance saying the x rays and dentist notes basically where BS and I never needed a crown? I'm sure since I was double covered, my husband insurance which has a piggy bank account picked up the fees. I never saw an EOB come in from his dental. Same with my husband he had a root canal and crown down and he's having the same issue with it. His feels wiggly and hurts. The only thing they decently did do was my dads dentures like a year ago. They did make them right and comfortably for him, that is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. It did take my husband going in and arguing with them that they hurt his gums because they sat too high. My husband has told them I switched dentist and I still get the calls to schedule. Ok took my boys here the past 9 months so on our 3 visit since we do cleanings every 3 months. Last visit eldest son was told he needed a deep cleaning and 4 fillings we did the work went back today 3 months later then owner was the Dentist said that both boys needed deed cleanings and mouth guards.... then that my older son needs 10 fillings and 4 crowns..... we were just there 3 months ago!!!!! Not doing the work going to get a second opinion. Due to COVID - as is everyone's favorite response these days, this office shut down. While I understand they were shut down when all other dental offices were shut down, they never called to notify any patients. My son has braces and was still on the schedule in March, we got a reminder, and showed up; the office was closed and nobody answering the phones. I assumed as all other businesses were shut down, it was due to COVID closures. Fast forward 4 months later; all dental offices are back open, deemed essential. We finally got a call to reschedule his ortho appointment for July, got a reminder call, and then once again, when he showed up, the office was closed. Not only is the office closed AGAIN when all other dental offices are open, but they also do not call their patients to let them know and you have no way of getting ahold of anyone. You call and it goes to an automated message telling you "due to COVID" you have to go online to make all appointment requests and when you try to leave a message the phone disconnects. Not sure how COVID has anything to do with not answering your phones?? So now my son is going on 4 months with no orthodontic care that we paid for in full already but nobody to answer any calls. If I want to go to any other orthodontist that is open, I have to pay AGAIN out of pocket. I am literally disgusted with this office and how they are handling this situation. A complete lack of customer service and now I'm stuck waiting for whenever they decide to open their doors or answer the phone to see how long his braces treatment will have to be extended and I will have to continue going to this shit-show of an office. In July I had a toothache I have been going to the dentist every 3 months to have my teeth cleaned when I went the extra day and said it's Ducane underneath they took the teeth out it cost me $530 so I was wondering why would it cost me that much to take it out after all this time today I finally got the urge to call the insurance company and ask if they pay to extract tools and they said yes so I took another look at the bill they did not Bill my insurance they charged me $450 for bone graft when the lady told me that it was $75 for the bone broth what I need about I do not know because I told him several times I do not want implant Dentures or anything of that nature in my mouth the insurance said they should have build them even if they did not believe they let me to believe that I was paying $530 to extract my teeth only to find out that the insurance paid for it my copay was $80 and they charge me $530 my son has his teeth cleaned every 6 months in October they found a crack in my son's tooth he has autism I had to take him to the California oral surgeon to have his tooth removed it cost $544 for the anesthetic I have to pay that the rest was covered by the insurance before. They gave me a bill for $4,800 saying my son would need Bridge cap inplant and tooth extraction remind you he has been going to the dentist all at once read more

I have left messages (at least 15), had to go by the office and pound on door to get my daughters invisalines. It's the end of treatment and I have scheduled online appts, left more messages and have received no emails, texts, or phone calls. I understand there is a pandemic, but it's October and I started calling in March. This is ridiculous and bad business. I am going to have to pay another orthodontist now for services you should be providing still. I am disappointed with the lack of info. I have left messages for the Walnut Creek, Oakland and other offices. I am not happy and at this point I'm sure no one can get an appt anyway. Just frustrated parent who spent a lot of money to make my daughters smile. Now I have to change providers and pay more. I would give negative stars if I could die to the lack of communication. An "adult" step-family member with mental disabilities went to this dentist, and was bum-rushed and signed up for about four thousand dollars of dental work, that he could not explain what it was for, but that he signed because of fear of what would happen to his teeth if he didn't get the work (per the office explanation). Then they had him finance the work, even though he is has a tiny income, then the bridge fell out after a couple of weeks, and they kept charging him for the rechecks and promised him they would try to refund the money, then they tried to not be available. Finally, with help, he was able to get a little money back in small claims court. I felt my family member was scammed by Unlimited Smiles and found that this dentist went to school at Nova Southeastern University, a Florida school that gets an "F" from the BBB. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience was so bad at this office, I had to share it. They had one dentist on staff on a Thursday morning. My appointment for my 6 and 5 year olds was at 8am. I arrived at 7:50am, filled out the paperwork, and waited until 8:50 to be called back for x-rays. After the x-rays, we waited in the exam room until 9:30. The dentist looked at both kids' teeth and said she could not do the cleaning and exam because the hygienist had not taken complete x rays. Administrator came in and said they couldn't do any more x rays at that time so they would do them in 6 months and schedule a basic cleaning for the following week. I said, "No thanks. I will find a new dentist." Two hours at the dentist and a couple half hearted apologies from the staff were all I had to show for it. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

When I went back i was helped by so many different people running around, 2 of which are new and no one would help them and simultaneously everyone is arguing. WORST ENERGY IN THIS OFFICE. So after sitting in my room after exrays I wait another 35 minutes and the doctor comes in, starts talking to me like I'm a complete idiot. He says how long was your last time in a dentist office (I haven't been for 2 years due to not being able to afford it but I don't have a disgusting mouth either) and he gets up and says to his assistant like he isn't still standing right next to me "of course and they all come to me and expect me to fix them". Once all the nightmare I thought was over I walked back up to the front(our time here is nearly 5 hours at this point WITH NO CLEANING EITHER WHICH WE WAITED FOR) and I see my mom waiting for the front desk to tell her if that's it and the lady is ignoring her. So she explains to me super brief a print out of how I NEED all my wisdom teeth out and for it to be done by them they HAVE TO do bone graph and with insurance will be over 2 grand. And she turns back around doesn't say bye your done here or anything. I can't believe we waited through this experience. All I wanted was to find a new dentist office. But this needs to be on here. New patient and requested my military form to be filled out and a cleaning and they couldn't do my cleaning because the hygienist was out sick. Ok that's fine, so I scheduled another appointment just to have them tell me I need a deep cleaning which obviously couldn't be done that day! Three appointments to get the one thing I asked for done?? Each visit was at least an hour...I don't know who has time to just waste to not get anything done. DO NOT GO HERE! Where do I begin! I have never been so disappointed in any dental office as I have in this one (Vacaville CA Office) I have poor teeth/gums and expect that I'll need work; and my initial appointment/exam/xrays went smoothly. From there on, however, every appointment had EXTENSIVE (sometimes hours) wait times with no regard to my work schedule, they consistently rescheduled appointment times at last minute; misleading information/excuses and what I believe to be lies as to why doctors were late. They would just say, 'no problem, you can just see a different doctor.' (I, for one, want to see the same doctor for a procedure,,,not 3 different ones). after arriving for an appointment and waiting for a while, I was told The doctor would be with me soon only to find they were not even in the bldg. or even in the city! There was NO follow up with me From the doctor or anyone from this office after doing an extensive surgery/abscess/extraction Procedure In preparation for a bridge/crown on 6 of my front teeth. My doctor left the bldg to go home while I was still "under" and left his assistant to put temporary in,,,which was crooked and I was left to wear it for 6 wks. The assistant to me, "sorry, but you were bleeding so badly, I did the best I could!!! Why did the doctor leave to go home then? When My husband came to get me from their office, all personnel were gone except for the one assistant. I was not even able to walk without assistance from my husband. Full payment was required before they start. I felt that was unusual and also left me as a lower priority because they already had my money. The last straw was today. This is probably one of the WORST businesses and dentist I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. They do not care about their patients and obviously their reputation. With in the first year of my husband getting a crown done by them it fell off. And they wouldn't do anything to correct the issue. I went to the same dentist around the same time had 3 crowns done at the same time because they told me I needed them or else I would loose my teeth, and within a few months it was separating from my gums and food was getting trapped in their causing extreme pain, once again they did nothing. After about 3 years that crown falls off. I made several attempts to see the dr who serviced me and they canceled on me 3 times. I was able to have another dr temporarily cement it back on until my apt with the dr who did the work. Well my apt was canceled again. And while I was eating I ended up swallowing my crown, had to force myself to puke it up because I knew these horrible dentist wouldn't do anything to correct this issue. After the fact, I was told by the front desk the dr said they would fix it at no cost (I still have the voicemail message) and apparently now that front desk girl no longer works there and neither does the dentist who did my work. Hmm.. sounds like some shady stuff happening here. And not only that, last time I was the the assistant was adjusting my mouth piece with all my saliva on it and then she was touching computer screens, the machine, buttons with the same gloves, never changed her gloves once, answered phones, touched door knobs and obviously not following proper sanitation, this is how viruses and bacteria get spread. Id like to share our horrible experience with Alamo Family Dental Care/Unlimited smiles LLC on the corner or Nut Tree and Alamo. So my family was due for our teeth cleanings and we thought our regular dentist in Fairfield had retired but it we found out later it turned out he had moved his office to another part of town and was closed for a couple months to do so. So we had seen the sign on the corner of Nut Tree and Alamo that read "$0 teeth cleanings" and underneath "for insured patients." I called them to get the details. And the lady on the phone said yes it was true. and they accepted our Insurance (Delta Dental) so we set up teeth cleaning appointments for the entire family. The day of the appointments we went in and my 3 year old daughter was seen first. the Dentist was very rude. Didn't introduce himself to us/her, was not friendly at all, didn't tell her what he was going to do beforehand so she wouldn't be scared and just not what you would expect from a dentist who is dealing with little kids/zero bedside manner. Then my wife went in for her cleaning. I went and picked up my step son a half hour early from school and returned to their office. They took him back and did his X-rays then came out and told us that they could not do his or my teeth cleaning that day because the "lady who does the cleanings was now off." This was at 3:15, mind you my appointment was for 4pm and my step son's was at 3:30. And was the whole reason for the appointments. They asked me if we could return the following day. I was a little irritated but agreed to come back as i was off work the following day as well. I decided to ask again (for a second time) about the $0 cleaning sign out front. And the office manager said we did not qualify for that because we have a small co pay with our insurance. I told her that that is not what the lady on the phone said, she had verified yes the teeth cleanings would be free because we had insurance and i told her that is also not what the sign makes it sound like. She said i know people are upset all the time about it. So i said that is super misleading, if a patient has insurance and Doesn't have a co pay wouldn't the teeth cleanings be $0 anywhere they went? She said "well... yes." I said that is not right. She told me OK well what she will do is make this first initial visit of teeth cleanings free but for any future visits we would have to pay the co pay. Irritated i said that's still not right, but made the appointment to return the following day with my step son. She also said we need to schedule my wife to have 3 cavities filled. So we scheduled that appointment too. I went home and was just stewing over the whole situation and eventually cancelled the appointment for the following day. My wife was able to get in contact with our old dental office (whom we loved) and found out the dentist hadn't retired he had just moved. We made an appointment for myself and my step son with my good dentist and scheduled my wife's appointment with him later the following week pending Alamo Family Dental Care sending her x rays to our old dentist. Well Alamo Family Dental Care never sent the x-rays over. (still haven't and this was 3 months ago after multiple calls requesting them) so our dentist didn't want to have us pay for x rays twice so he took new x rays but billed it differently so it was fully covered by insurance. When we got the x ray results we found out why Alamo Family Dental Care didn't want to send over the x rays... They told us my wife had 3 cavities that needed to be filled.... She had ZERO cavities. Alamo Family Dental Care/Unlimited smiles LLC in my opinion are scammers. Look at both their Google reviews (1.1 Stars) and Yelp reviews (1.5 stars) read those reviews. STAY AWAY! read more
