french toast combo with over medium eggs and sausage
    Stacie R.

We were very excited to come here because the photos made it look delicious! But it was pretty disappointing. Probably the most disappointing thing was the price. It ended up costing over $75 for two adult combos and two kids meals. My husband and I both got the french toast combo plates, but he made the mistake of getting the strawberries with whipped cream, but that was almost $5! It was only a handful of strawberries, I couldn't believe it. I ordered an extra bowl of strawberries, which was just over $2 and it was much more strawberries. I just stuck mine in his whipped cream! We also got a milk and coffee, both of which were also almost $5. The kids meals were only okay, they didn't have chocolate chips for the pancakes, which kind of shocked me! The environment makes it seem like a little mom and pop diner, hole in the wall kind of place. But with those prices it was not that kind of an experience! The service was okay. The french toast was okay. It was very eggy, and I know some people like it like that. It was a little too much in my opinion. Will not be coming back if we're in the area.

The restaurant is small inside, definitely gets packed. they also have a few picnic style tables outside and parking lot is also very small. Loved that my friend and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. The menu is huge. Lots of options and prices are reasonable. The service was really nice from start to finish. I came with a friend for breakfast and tried the biscuits and gravy and a side of pancakes. My friend & I absolutely did not like the biscuits and gravy. Put it this way, I want to call the cops on whoever's recipe that is. It was terrible, we didn't eat it. As the server offered a box, I kindly said "No Thank you" and told her they weren't good. She took them away and was nice to take them off the tab. The pancakes were basic but good. I'd like to try some of the other stuff on the menu in the future.

We stayed in Santa Rosa for a quick little weekend trip and the hotel owner mentioned Sam's for a great breakfast place. Got here close to noon. Therefore it was time for a mimosa or a Bloody Mary. We got both! We chose the cranberry mimosa over the usual orange juice. Really refreshing! I had the Denver omelette with country potatoes and my boyfriend had the gravy and sausage with bacon on the side. Delicious all the way around! The biggest surprise was the salsa. Probably some of the best salsa I've ever had at a restaurant. Molly, our server was super busy and was so quick to get our food and drinks out to us. She's totally fun and kind. There's seating outside! Yay! That was another lovely surprise. The process are a little steep when you order drinks but was worth it!

I've been to Sam's for as long as I can remember. It's always been an affordable family breakfast spot that has really good food. I normally get their huevos rancheros or their waffle however this time I got the French toast and it did not disappoint. The servers here are always friendly and accommodating. They always make sure to check on you and ask if anything else is needed regardless of how busy they are which they literally always are. The spots kind of like going to eat to your grandparents bunch of stores miscellaneous stuff everywhere but it's what gives the home vibe to this cafe. I personally really like it. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Found this little cozy cafe for breakfast. Got an old school, diner feel, lots of posters, nicks n knacks, momentos on the walls and just give you days gone by vibes. Huge breakfast menu from combos to omelette to any sides you could possible want. For lunch, they also serve burgers, sandwiches, salads and soups. The service was beyond friendly! Greeted immediately when we walked in, seated quickly and got drinks out. Ordered the griddle combo with buttermilk pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. I also got the Popeyes choice omelette which comes with potatoes and toast. Fresh squeeze OJ. Still got a bit of leftover for lunch. Large portions. Love Sams and wouldn't change a thing about this spot. Keep it up!

Food is consistent, good ole comfort food. Their menu has been the same so it's nice to be able to still order your favorite. I got the California Benedict (poached eggs avocado and tomato with hollandaise) and extra crispy spuds - so delicious. Service is friendly and accommodating. Coffee will get your whole week going lol very strong and very good.

We both got the bacon cheeseburger, one with fries. & mine with onion rings. The onion rings were the best I ever had. I just loved them. My hubby loved his fries said they were nice & crispy. Our burgers were so juicy, and flavorful. The bacon was real bacon and wasn't skimpy on our burgers. But, the big hit was the buns! They didn't fall apart like most burger places. (Topped with chili). Next time, that's what I'm getting. My chicken tender sandwich was great. Tender juicy chicken with a seasoned crispy breading on a toasted sandwich roll. Kids milkshakes come with a gummy burger candy treat. My only gripe is they don't have Heinz. They have Monarch Ketchup in their condiment caddies. (Gross. Minus half star) There's only a little seating inside, but they have a few tables outside as well. The theme is classic car/diner style. Service was friendly. Just so that you know, I consider myself to be a club sandwich connoisseur and wanted to confirm of Ozzie's could enter my golden circle of club sandwiches. First - the service. Super friendly people who have no problem with accommodating special requests. For example I asked if they could add a slice of cheese and was asked "Swiss, Cheddar, American"? . That's music to my ears! Second- the ingredients. I love that they feature locally sourced bread products. Mine was prepared with Franco-American sourdough. And it's always fantastic! Third- Unlike a lot of club sandwiches, you don't have to decide between turkey or ham, they include both! And if you aren't a fan of either, they do offer a chicken club option. The final verdict! Five star awesome! The sandwich was perfectly stacked with tons of meat products. And extra credit for the extra large slice of cheddar cheese which covered the entire sandwich. And a huge shoutout to the crinkle fries (included with your order). I'm a huge crinkle fries fan and these were awesome!

We ordered multiple dishes on the menu and the worst was by far the bone marrow which we were very excited to try, should've known what to expect when they served it with ranch seasoned saltines, bone marrow is already so fatty and rich it doesn't need much for it to shine, adding andouille and onion jam was doing way too much. The saving grace of the night was the edamame appetizer (which was still a tad over cooked), sticky rice, which was not sticky by the way (jasmine rice) and the steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare.
