Wyatt was my waiter and did a fantastic job. I loved the food. Ordered a combo plate with fried catfish and shrimp with side of crab cake. Good value for the money. I will return soon. It is my new go-to seafood/fish place. I have been driving by this bldg for years and this is the first restaurant there which has a filled parking lot on a regular basis. Now I know why. I loved the slightly spicy/hot tarter sauce and even the hush puppies had a bit of a kick, but not overdone. The shrimp was the best I'd had in a while. Not over cooked. I can't wait to go back. When you call in to place your order, don't look at their online menu because they don't have the things that their advertising on the menu. I had to go through each item one at a time so the woman on the phone could tell me what they actually had. No ashes potatoes, no Mac n cheese as advertised . Just left disappointed and sad that I didn't get their Philly cheesesteak for dinner this evening. We were seated and then spent 10 minutes being ignored, until we decided to leave. It was only then when my husband started putting his jacket on that the dark haired waitress decided to say hello as if we had just walked in. This same waitress served the table right next to us. While seated I watched all the waitresses at one time or another scan the room and not one ever looked our way. Where we were seated was not in any way in hiding either so there would not be any mistake of not seeing us. Especially when the waitress served the table right next us. They definitely need to do better with their service. Like I said I'm pretty sad that I didn't get my Philly cheesesteak after being sick and craving it for a week. I called to place an order to go. I picked up my order and went home. Can you imagine the look on my face when I opened my carry out? I ordered 3 (6) piece catfish orders. I received TWO dinners and the third container was full of French fries! I also ordered An appetizer of Fried Pickles. I DID NOY receive them. My two catfish orders DID NOT have any sides. How do you forget to put fried okra and hush puppies into a box of catfish. NO Cole Slaw..... nothing! Over half my order was missing. I called the restaurant number I used to place my order...... they were not taking calls. I called for TWO hours and got the same message. I called my credit card company and am disputing the charge. Fresh, tasty, hot and wasn't greasy. Sides were really good & complimented the fish, shrimp, & crab cake combo I ordered. A LOT OF FOOD! Wife & daughter said the fries were awesome. We tried this restaurant for the first time. The appetizers, fish, shrimp and sides were really good and the service was pleasant.

My sister and I had occasion to lunch here. We were both impressed with the food. She had the Catfish Po-boy and I had the Shrimp Po-boy. Plus, we shared an order of fried green tomatoes. The FGT came out piping hot and tasty with ranch dressing to dip, yummy. Our Po-boys were big foot long (cut in half) French bread delights. They gave my sister an additional catfish filet, and I got two big jumbo fried shrimp. Both sandwiches were awesome, and so big we took half home. First time ordering food here. I placed my order online and when I got to the restaurant my order was sitting on the counter. It was not ready so I had to wait. Staff was apologetic. I ordered the crab cakes thinking it was true crab cakes and it tasted frozen, very thin and not enough crab. My husband order the oyster poboy and he said it tasted like it came from the ground. It was over cooked. The only positive thing I can say is my daughter enjoyed her shrimp poboy and my grand kids enjoyed the fish plate. Portions were huge. So my family came into town for dinner, there was 11 of us, we walked in and it wasn't all that busy. We told them there was 11 of us and they gave us a weird look and said "sorry our party room is reserved right now and we can't push tables together because that would mess up the servers" like what!? There was literally an empty table with 8 chairs it would've been so easy to pull up 1 more table and 3 chairs. Never been to a restaurant that doesn't take a group of 11 people who want to eat. read more

The food is decent here but the service is terrible! My family of 4 walked in to get a table and they told us we were not allowed to wait inside and they would call us. We were outside waiting for about 10 min already and within those 10 min 2 separate families one of which was way bigger than a table for 4 got seated all while we are waiting for a table. Just finished dinner here and have to say the food was excellent. Restaurant was clean and packed full of people. Phone was ringing off the hook with orders. Because of that, allow for a wait as the cooks struggled to keep up. Was told 30 minutes for a table but was seated in 12 minutes. Food took a little long to come out however was definitely worth the wait. I buy shrimp to cook from HEB and I can always taste something like a dirt taste. These shrimp were clean, huge and seasoned well. The fish was crunchy to perfection on the outside and seasoned perfectly. The inside was tender and not dry. Didn't even want to use tarter sauce with the fish. Fries were good and the green beans were alright. Could of used a little more flavor. The red beans and rice were excellent as the coleslaw. They did run out of ice and silverware but they had back up plasticware packets that were sufficient. They've only been open a week and are ironing out all the kinks so be mindful of that or wait a few more weeks for them to settle in. Tabatha was a great server and staff apologized many times for the wait. In reference to the review from Jane D. , we were there tonight as well and there are 3 dining rooms.
