1 good massage, 1 *very* poor…read more I and my girlfriend booked a 1 hour couples massage from Heaven Day Spa. My masseuse, Nicole was good. Unlike my girlfriends massage therapist, who was terrible. From the get go, her masseuse had an unfriendly, impersonal attitude, almost as if she didn't want to be there. In the massage room, she didn't use oil, lotion, or talc, and spent a lot of her time walking around the room. When she did deign to offer a massage, she only attempted to massage my girlfriends neck (a combination of light pinching and stroking), and briefly fluffed her hair, despite her asking for a full body massage that focused on her neck and head. Her technique seemed untrained, random, and without method. After complaining at the front desk, and paying for the massage (at this point I didn't realize how bad my girlfriends massage had been, else I wouldn't have paid), we were assured that the manager, Mr. Scott (?), would call us to discuss our complaint. It's been a week now, and no call from Mr. Scott. As a customer, you are at the mercy of the individual masseurs/masseuses. Some of them are great, some of them are definitely not. We won't be returning.

He trained with Vidal Sasoon and really knows hair. You can say, I want to change it up, or do something different, and my hair always comes out great. He also really knows good shampoo and body lotons. He is very green and into natural products and my hair seems to do way better these. I have actually gotten compliments on my hair cut. Barry was recommended to me when he was cutting hair in Marin. Now that he has his own place in "The City" I have to drive in. Its worth it.

I broke out with cystic acne as an adult and need a quick long term fix. I didnt mine paying the price to get things fix but OMG its SUPER expensive and service is poor! There is no such thing as refund either. She told me that she guarentees 90% of the acne to be gone forever by the end of they treatment. True?...not really.. She was able to remove the acne that was already there and when I asked her about the new ones the sprouted and she said "I only promised the ones that were already there I cant help with the new ones!" WTF 1K to remove the acne that was already there!?!?!? It would of just went away in a few weeks with any acne treatment. I went there to have a problem fixed long term! AND to top everything off. She turned all the once use to be acne to acne scar (expected and I didnt mind as much because I knew that time will heal it) but she broke pretty much all the capillaries on my cheek! That is a permanent damage! I only found this out when I went to another place to fixed the "redness" which were broken capillaries. OMG =( On my last treatment she even have the nerves to ask if I want to sign up for a 1 years 1/month facial to keep the ance away. Obviously I would not because she would probably find a loop hole for her words when something goes wrong. I feel like it probably happens to many people that actually come here and she is prepared with her answers. On that same last day, in the middle of MY treatment, another customer come in because her daughters treatment didnt work and she wanted a refund or something and the owner and the customer had a HUGE argument in the middle of my treatment. She's would also yell at her son from time to time. This place is such a rip off. If you need something fixed, go to a doctor. I learned my lesson! Since I can't really give this place 0 stars I would have to say that they 1 star would be for the lady that worked there (not the owner.) She is a very nice lady with a very HIGH tolerance! Second, my hair was shampooed, cut, and expertly styled by Lili within 45 minutes. She also recommended an awesome anti-frizz product, which I purchased once I saw the wonders that it (and Lili's styling, which I'm praying I can replicate!) worked on my hair. He was super friendly and really fun to talk to while I got my hair cut. The one thing I would say is you should let them know if you have a time constraint, my haircut took around 2 and a half hours. But he did take his time with diligence, he washed it and put in bond repair etc to help with hair damage, and some product in to soften it. After he blow dried my hair it was the softest and had the most body and volume, it was amazing. Then I found out the haircut cost $85 dollars lol, he mentioned it while blow drying and my HEART WENT IN MY THROAT, I mean I paid the money and everything but wow that was pretty pricey for just a trim.
