I had minor body damage repaired on my Tesla Model 3 and was pleasantly surprised that the actual repair cost came in lower than the estimate. I very much appreciated that since for something like this it's better to estimate a little high and be pleasantly surprised rather than the other way around. The detailing work they did as part of the repair was a great touch too which made my car feel even better than when I got it new from the dealership. This place was WONDERFUL!! I was devastated when after a very detailed application for a repair of significant hit & run damage to my car, my insurance company gave me an estimate that was less than HALF of any of the bids I'd received from various car repair businesses. When I came into Exotic, the lovely lady at the front desk took my information, and I was fortunate enough to meet with Ken. He assured me that they would work with the insurance company to help them understand all the details involved in achieving a proper repair. He explained that it's not unusual for the insurance company to low-ball the estimate with the assumption that the client will just take the payment, and not have the repairs done. I loved my car, and would never do that. Exotic and Ken kept me informed every few days as to the progress of my car. I was absolutely thrilled to have it eventually returned to me in pristine condition, inside and out, with the repairs performed perfectly. The only payment I owed was the deductible. When I got in an accident in April I was pretty worried because my CT4V Blackwing is a fairly unique car and I wanted it in the hands of someone I could trust. Cadillac of Bellevue recommended Exotic Motors and, while they couldn't take my car until June, they were totally worth the wait. Ken sent me a detailed quote that made it clear he understood the car he was working with. Once they brought it in to the shop he sent me weekly updates to know how things were going. He and his team handled everything, working with the dealership and my insurance. When I finally picked up the car it was in perfect condition, down to the details like the engraved logos on the wheels. It genuinely looked and sounded as good as the day I picked it up. Update: they called on Tuesday, made an appointment, drove to our house & put in a spare. They're replacing the tire ASAP & I have a drivable car for the moment. They apologized & are going above & beyond to fix it. Impressed! We needed our bumper refinished due to an inattentive driver. They kept that car Monday-Friday & returned it with a bolt in the tire. Thought it was a rock, so drove all the way home before taking a look. Immediately called (Friday) to inform Exotic Motors Auto Rebuild they gave us the car back with a bolt in the tire. Victor first claimed they don't use bolts... in an auto rebuild shop. That should be alarming to everyone who is thinking of getting repair work done here. He then says they're closing & will call us back Monday. We waited all Monday. No call, no email, no text. I sent them an email the next day, Tuesday. We have a car with a flat we can't drive & they're pretending there's nothing wrong. I had my reservations after they returned another person's car with what's probably gloss urethane or epoxy on her car and windshield. Should have listened to the unhappy customer & not taken my car here. Don't go here. They keep your car for ages for no good reason & return it damaged in some new way, pretending they did nothing. No effort to communicate or fix it so far. If they do the right thing, I'll update this review, but this is not a good place. This was my second interaction with an auto body shop after somebody engaged ramming speed in a parking lot and crippled the back end of my Tesla. My first experience was nothing short of alarming (Accurate Auto Body, I'm looking at you), and this was the exact opposite. Victor was my assigned representative and from the first time that he gave me an estimate on my car, I felt like he was being transparent and honest. There was no yelling about how I should expect to come $1-$4k out of pocket and each step of the process was explained clearly. The wait times are long, for both estimates and service, but I found it 100% worth the wait. Once I had set up an appointment, they helped me get my rental car arranged, did all the heavy lifting with communicating with the insurance company, and then when I turned my car in, Victor was beautifully communicative. He would send an update and let me know when the next update would be sent, and then...lo and behold, the next update would arrive precisely when he said it would. It took three weeks, including a wait for parts, to replace basically the entire lift gate and rear quarter panels on my Tesla. I felt like that was a reasonable time frame. Lastly, there was a light cover missing when I checked out that I didn't notice, and they took pains to accommodate my schedule to let me pop back in and have them replace that. read more

I brought my Tesla here, because they are one of only two shops in the greater Seattle area that have Repair Certificates from Tesla. They took 6 weeks to fix my car, likely because they are very popular and busy. Enterprise car rentals is close by, which is quite convenient. When I got my car back the first time, they were still waiting for a part from Tesla, which was not their fault, and they got me right in when the part finally came in from Tesla. There was something all over my windshield that I, nor they can get off. It is an unknown, clear coat/white substance that someone attempted to wipe off, so now my windshield has drips and smears all over it that obscures my view, and it is made worse by bright sunshine, and like I said, it won't come off. I don't recall this being on my car when I dropped it off there. They told me it was on my car when I dropped it off. The pictures indicate a different story. There was a small amount of the same stuff smeared inside the driver door handle, which won't come off either. So whoever/wherever it came from was also in my car at one point. They decline responsibility for this. Also, when I got my car back, the dog/camping mode no longer works, and is related to some sensor warning. It is likely caused by the air conditioner not working anymore as well. This concerns me because now I'm afraid they will not take responsibility for these either, and these were also operable when I initially dropped off my car. Brought my Tesla here with 3 tiny baby scratches on it. Asked them if they can just do a small touch up job since tesla wouldnt do it. They quoted me $8000 for 3 scratches smaller than my pinky. That's 1/4th the price or a tesla! I looked at their estimate sheet (which I had to wait for 45 minutes to even receive while they pretty much just hung out and ignored me) and the estimate was full of bullshit hours. They said to repair a small scratch on the hood of my car they would need to replace the windshield and the roof glass. Also they said that the man hours required to prepare the car for painting (i.e. cover areas that would not be painted) was 4-5 hours. (This is before sanding and painting). Their work estimate for 3 scratches was 2 + weeks of labor. Went back to tesla since they referred me and they agreed this was a bullshit quote and apologized. I went home, bought a Tesla paint repair kit for 50 bucks and did it myself. Looks fine. Dont go to these guys. Go somewhere else. read more

I hit some debris driving on the freeway. I had a very minor damage on skid plate and bottom front end of car. I needed to get an estimate for my comprehensive insurance claim. I waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes. While reception was on the phone on what sounded like a personal call. The receptionist told me that they are appointment only and didn't have an opening until a week later. I couldn't even talk to anyone and they clearly didn't need my business. The man who took my quote was apathetic and lazy. I was on the phone at one point and he was inturrupting me. I asked him to wait a few minutes, to which he continues inturrupting me. I left the building, walked off the parking lot, and into the street to get privacy. This member of staff followed me all the way out just to nag me on the phone. It was an urgent call and I felt so embarrassed to have my attention diverted several times. Then, after finishing my quick call, I come back and he continues being rude. I told him I don't appreciate him bothering me while I'm on the phone and he laughed at me. Then other members of staff started laughing at me. I came here to get my Tesla repaired. The front right of my car was hit in an accident, and luckily didn't receive any mechanical or frame damage. Due to the location however, it did cause minor damage to various parts, including the hood, bumper, both fenders, etc. This warranted a ton of new parts to be installed and painted. At first, my insurance company told me that since I didn't have towing coverage, I would need to cover the charge. Luckily, I spoke with the owner Marc, who informed me that if the car was not safe to drive after the accident, that the tow would generally be covered under my collision coverage (may or may not be the same for every insurance company). As such, Marc fronted the tow to the shop, saving me from naively paying $200+ Throughout the entire repair, Danny (great guy who was managing it all) kept me updated every step of the way. Given the various parts that needed to be ordered, and the fact that I had requested OEM only, I was pretty happy with the turnaround time. Paint match was spot on, the install was flawless, and the car looked as good as new. One other thing to mention: I did notice a small bit of overspray on the roof of my car. I called Danny, and he said to just drop it by on my lunch break. After just 30 savory minutes of stuffing my face at the Burger King down the road, I walked back, picked up the finished car, and drove off. I don't usually write reviews but this one I figured I should warn everybody about this shop. After looking at their page on Facebook page full of nice cars Porsche, Ferrari etc... you should reconsider where you want to have it serviced/fixed. Let me start out by telling you my story and my experiences with this shop. I dropped my SUBARU STI off after it had been in a collision, normal thing to do right. I've got some after market parts on there that needed to be replaced. First let's start with my suspension, they told me to order one strut since it needed to be replaced. Okay perfect, second after they told me to order the strut they told me to order one side of my headlights. (Keep in mind every time they tell me to get something it always take a week to respond from this shop. So it's been like 3 weeks I dropped the car off and they started working on it 3.5 weeks later) after telling me I need to replace the right side of the headlight they initially told me to order a left side headlight. When the left side headlight was completely fine. That's not the worse thing I've doubt with here, the worst part is that after I got my car back together suppose to drive somewhat similar. I went back to the shop after 3 days of getting it back I told them I keep hearing the clunking noise from my suspension which they told me it's the top hat of the bushing when they did not tighten my top bolt to manufacture specs so my suspension was loose the WHOLE time. In fact, Marc was the one who told me my bearings on the top hat of my coilovers are worn down and that's what causing the noise. Well, I went to a Subaru specialist to see if he's wrong. The top nut was so loose you can hand twist it. Bottom bolt was not torque to spec. So if you're looking for a place to mess your car up, go see the owner Marc. Marc and his team are very unprofessional when dealing with customers. Reply time for me averages about 3-4 days. I've called almost everyday asking about my car after a month later, the classic "oh we will work on it as soon as possible". This is by far the hardest auto shop to work with. Not to mention, after getting my car back retailer from another shop told me they over sprayed every panel that was being replaced. read more
