Stopped to get Gyros and pizza at 8:20 pm on Wednesday June 3rd 2026. They said they just cleaned the grill and they weren't making any more of anything. They close at 9 they said and even tho there were 3 other customers there to get stuff they weren't going to make anything. They were snotty and crude and mean to everyone. They should never be in busy acting and treating their customers that way! Real pissy and And should go out of business poor!!!. If you're ever in the Point Place Casino area (Bridgeport), this pizza place is the ! I can't tag them but the name of the place is Sami's Pizza. Just outside of the entrance to Point Place on 31. I might even go out on a limb here and say.....toe to toe with Paladinos!!! It's that good. If it was located closer to my home, it would be my go to. I bought a few slices and threw them in my trunk til after we gambled too much. ‍ Pop it in your oven at 350 when you get home, ( yes Debbie my oven works !), and reheat til you get your desired amount of crispness. Tastes like freshly made!! Thin crust, ( not too thin ) and tasty sauce, cheese, and toppings. This pizza is awesome! One of the worst experiences from a pizza place. Was passing through on my way to Rochester and this had a good rating. Clearly all friends and family of the owner. I stopped in around 8:15 and ordered a steak sub (steak, cheese and Mayo only) which the girl at the counter said was the way she gets it too. Ordered a turkey sub and side of pasta. Gave a $5 tip right then. Well 25+ mins later after waiting, mind you only 2 customers picked anything up that entire time, so not busy. I asked the girl if my order was ready, apparently it had been sitting up there... so no one checked??? I gave a tip so I'd expect a little attention, guess not. Get to Rochester like 2 hours later and find out they never gave me the turkey sub in the bag and literally put mushrooms and onions on my sub... I will def never stop here again in my travels nor recommend anyone in the local area give them a try. Also, they are clearly rough when they spell steak as "stake"... great job guys! read more

Hidden gem of a pizza joint in small Bridgeport,NY. I stopped here right before the lunch rush and grabbed a couple slices of Sicilians. It was very good. Nice sauce and cooked perfectly. Having recently moved here from Connecticut, it's been difficult to find a good pizza or calzone until we found Sami's! I ordered a Broccoli, sausage and garlic Calzone and the Hubs ordered Wings to be delivered. Our order came 15 min early and was piping hot. The Wings were perfect; hot, extra crispy & light on the sauce. The Hubs was in Wing heaven. But my Calzone? Holy cow, it was HUGE! Not only did it hang off the plate but it was stuffed full of Broccoli, Italian Sausage and Garlic! Most places skimp on their fillings but not Sami's! And the marinara sauce tasted like gsrden fresh tomatoes and was the perfect accompaniment to the Calzone. I was so impressed that I called them back and asked to speak to the guy who made my Calzone. The girl was hesitant but I assured her I was calling because it was delicious. Jimmy answered and I heaped praise on him for my delicious Calzone and he assured me the marinara was made fresh in store. I'm so happy I finally fou nd a local place with delicious Calzones and I'm hoping their pizza is equally as good. Thank you Jimmy, for my delicious dinner. Customer service was ridiculous. We waited an hour and half for our delivery after being told 45 minutes to an hour. Pizza was lukewarm and fries were ice cold and clearly old. We were missing a chicken roll. We called to have it sent since it was someone's dinner and they said they were busy and it would be another hour. They also tried to not give us fresh fries with the order. Really?! is that the right response for a restaurant? We just go to the back of the line because of their issue and cold fries are my problem? As much as I enjoy their pizza, I won't be ordering from here again. I had never been to this pizza shop, nor had I ever been all the way out into Bridgeport. While driving to this location, I was pretty nervous because a lot of the places in the area had looked run down. When I got to Sami's the girls behind the counter were so nice and although they were busy you couldn't tell they were overwhelmed. They weren't even rushing you to order. I got a pizza and soda combo and the crust was so good and soft but still crisp. It was saucy, but not disgustingly saucy. It was perfect. The wing sauce was okay, but I will be going back for pizza here again, without a doubt. Although all the places surrounding Sami's made me unsure, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it actually was and how great the service was. Ordered the fish dinner Friday evening for delivery. Time wise it was delivered in lees time than I was told, which was a great. However, the fish was way overcooked & the fries were really cold. Cole Slaw wasn't to my taste, but i have had much worse. I won't be ordering fish from there again. Hopefully the pizza, wings and other menu items are better. I have had several takeout meals at this restaurant and everyone has been very good. The pizza is excellent as well as their pasta dinners. The southern style grilled wings rate as some of the best I've ever had. They have seating for in house dining with a very relaxed dress code. I've been a fan of Sami's for year. Pizza is great, wings are the best around. Customer service with a few there absolutely sucks. I called and placed and order and the girl who answered was rude. I go to pick up and the same girls is at the register and doesn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes and then says "what did you order". I tell her and she says "it's not ready and won't be for 25 minutes". I ask he if she would like me to pay now or later and she says "doesn't matter to me" I said it's you business, what would you like". She just stands there and I go and sit down. She the sits down in a booth and complains about her pay. Jimmy then comes out with my order and is polite and respectful like he always is. Girl with the pink shite and tattoos all over her face and arms, was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Absolutely horrible and they should fire her. we ordered a large pizza at 10 pm last night and they never called us or shown up at our home. I let them know twice what we wanted on the pizza and I asked if they had change for 100 dollars. My husband just made me and my son soup. We called twice too and no one answered their phone. Well, as I was writing this at 11:25 the pizza man came from Sami. My husband told them that we called twice with no answer and it has been almost an hour and a half. He told them that we already ate our late dinner. Well, they ended up walking away then said, he you can have the pizza anyways. Good thing we did not pay for it because it was cold as you can imagine and stiff as a board. I believe they should of called us and let us know something or keep their phone on until the last delivery is completed. You can always answer the phone by saying we close at 11 but phones are on until last delivery is completed. read more

Sami's has the largest and best pizza with the best crusts around. They have had the same two pizza makers there for years and they have it down to an art. Their chicken riggies are pretty good too, creamy, and they give you enough to feed two people and have leftovers. I highly recommend the chicken wing pizza. The chicken wing pizza is seriously the best you get on planet earth (it's not chicken breast they put on the pizza and cover w/ buffalo sauce, they actually make wings and hand pluck the meat off the bone and place it on the pizza). We stopped for lunch on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had a slice with sausage and peppers and it was very good. The crust is thin, light and crispy like a good NYC style pizza should be. My wife and her sister had different kinds of slices and loved them. They all looked good. We also had an order of Buffalo wings and they were great. Good size wings, perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'm putting one star because I have to in order for my opinion to count on Yelp, but I would give negative stars if possible. I've worked in the restaurant industry for close to 10 years, and I understand people can be the type to ask for an accommodation and then say "well, we've gotten it here before", when in reality, they haven't. For the last THREE years my boyfriend and I have religiously ordered pizza and wings from Sami's. Our order is always the same. "Large pepperoni pizza, 24 wings, mild, all drums, extra crispy, ranch instead of bleu cheese" and we always tip; even when we pick up! Upon calling tonight, a very snobby girl responded to our answer on how we wanted our wings and said "actually, sir, we don't do that anymore." My boyfriend was caught off guard and said, "are you sure..? We always order from you guys.." the woman snapped back "yes, I'm sure." I called back and tried to explain that while I know it's an inconvenience, I know that it can easily be done, and has always been done for us. We are die hard Sami's patrons. While on the phone simply explaining why Sami's is our most favorite place, and that I understand a policy change, but that we are essentially "regulars", the owner could be heard in the back ground screaming "WE DONT DO THAT. No! No more! We don't do that!" Moments later the woman on the phone chuckles and says "yeah, like I said. We don't do that anymore." In the time it took to laugh and mock us on the phone, our wings could have been separated out and dropped. Which reminds me.. THREE times in the last few months we've ordered from them, and they've completely forgotten to drop our wings. We showed up on time, and the sheer panic and 20 extra minute wait proved that our order had been forgotten.. We've never once complained, or threw a fit. Word of advice..
