I love this place. My favorite thing is Halo Halo but this time I tried Jackfruit Ice Cream and it was so tasty and not too sweet. The decoration here is also very cute. They can have a long line so be prepared. The service is nice.
This lace serves One of my favorite desserts is Halo-Halo and this is the first place locally I have found that serves it. Halo-Halo is a Philippines shaved ice dessert usually made with coconut milk, Ube halaya (purple yam jam), Nata de coco (coconut gel), and sweetened fruits and beans. I really like Jackfruit mixed in. Halo-Halo translates to Mix-Mix in Tagalog. The service is from the ice-cream counter with a tropical theme.
I love coming here for a sweet treat! I had dined next door at Mamak and walked right over to enjoy some ice cream dessert! Sampaguita is known to be very busy (which is amazing) but I was lucky to only wait maybe 5 minutes to order. While waiting I loved looking at the merch up front. The shirt design is beautiful. I was surprised to also see cookie options too! The interior is lovely. The design is so airy and pretty. My ice cream was great! I ordered a flavor that had pineapple in it and got the pineapple caramel sauce on top! It is so flavorful and creamy. Great all around dessert. My boyfriend ordered a strawberry shake and loved it. He finished it within a few minutes. We grabbed a table about halfway down the hallway. We sat forawhile and was able to chat and enjoy our desserts. We had a great afternoon visiting here.
Decided we needed a little dessert after lunch... After all the ice cream I've tried in Orlando, this has to be my new favorite!!! I tried the soy sauce butterscotch and it was incredible!!!!! I also tried a cheesecake guava flavor, also amazing! Ended up getting both in a waffle cone. The staff here are just SO friendly and awesome! The decor inside is also really nice and gives me such relaxed vibes. 100% I'll be back!!!
Okay so let's start off with the good - very cool place, great addition to Orlando. Love the decor, worker was nice and let us sample, ice cream was delicious! Now the reason for the -1 star. First, its mills and the parking on a Tuesday was rough. This is a general issue, not specific to them but we had to drive around the lot for 10 minutes, then we decided to leave and look elsewhere ended up having to walk a decent amount. It was frustrating and inconvenient if you're meeting with others. Second, I'm kind of confused as to why if someone is ordering a normal scoop or soft serve we have to get a number and wait, I've never seen an ice cream place do that. I totally understand for speciality items but was a little surprised for ours - the place was packed so a lot of people were standing around waiting with their numbers. Overall it hit the spot and in my opinion was worth the hype; just make sure you're not in a rush!
I keep hearing about this place so I went to ck it out. I ordered halo-halo with ube ice cream. I was a little disappointed once I tasted it. The ice cream didn't taste ube as I was hoping for and the ingredients (sahog) are not the traditional ingredients I was used to. Overall, the halo-halo wasn't too bad. Their selections ice cream, on the other hand, were pretty good.
YUM. I wanted something sweet to end the day and stopped by. We got lucky and got parking right up front. Each person gets to try 4 flavors and lemme tell ya - I had a hard time deciding. They were SO good. I settled on the Buko Pandan with coconut flakes and totally recommend. Delicious. I will be coming back.
Even on a Wednesday Sampaguita Was packed. While it's off of Colonial, there is a parking lot in the back of the plaza. Despite there being a parking lot, we weren't able to find parking and we had to park on the street. For the middle of the week, I was surprised that there was a line out the door. It took about 15 minutes before we were serviced, but the staff behind the counter was working hard. Sampaguita has unique flavors, such as Ube. They were very accommodating and they let us try a bunch of different flavors. I was surprised because every flavor that I tried wasn't too sweet like ice cream typically is. My friend and I ordered the Ube brownie with Ube whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. It was good but also not too sweet. Personally I think the ice cream actually wasn't sweet enough. With the hype that Sampaguita gets, I was expecting to be blown out of the water, but it was a little underwhelming. I think there's better ice cream in Orlando. The dining room is really cute and there's actually a lot of tables. It's very comfortable to sit there and hang out with friends.
I've been wanting to try Sampaguita for the longest time! And finally getting around to it - it didn't disappoint. You can probably guarantee this place will always be busy (and for good reason). Even with a line to the door, the service was very quick. There is a lot of seating even towards the back of the shop and loved the ambiance. They're very on brand throughout the entire place. I ordered the birthday mamon in a cone and I loved it! They also had a ton of other unique flavors and sundae options. I definitely will be returning!
Love this gourmet ice cream place near downtown Orlando. Serving Filipino inspired flavored ice cream. They let you taste it with small sample. Then you order at the end of the counter on what you want. If undecided- advised to do the 5 flight sampler. Our favorite is the ube cookie and cream. You can also get halo halo - a Filipino treat. They also serve pastries and cookies. If you are a local, sign up for their reward program. They also do ice cream cakes.
Craving exotic ice cream this day. Opted for the mini cone flight. These are 5 mini cones with 1 scoop of any flavors (5) you choose. $11 I chose the Sampaguita, Ube cookie and cream, Buko pandan, Mango peach pie, Champorado. My favorite is still the Sampaguita. It has a very unique taste. Staff here are nice and helpful. The merch here are cute but quite pricey especially clothing. I love the cartoon pinay mascot.
Service was very kind and accommodating to let us taste all the flavors and give us some ice for a long trip. All the flavors were great with a delightful texture.
The Ube Soft Cream Swirl is my latest obsession right now. I didn't discover it until recently and now that's all I want. Just writing this is making me want to go there and get it. IT IS SO GOOD! Though the line can get long, I have to say the staff does a great job of moving through it quickly, especially when you consider customers wanting to taste the different flavors and all that. I love the decor and aesthetic of this place. Seating is incredibly limited.

I have been meaning to check out this place for a few weeks now and was finally given the opportunity to do so! My bf and I usually go to Mamak for dinner so this is right next door and wanted some dessert! They had many flavors to choose from. The staff working was so helpful and let us try a few different flavors before we finally decided on what we wanted. I wouldn't recommend going with a big group the seating isn't set for big groups. But overall not a bad spot! But since it's still somewhat new there's a crowd so be aware and parking in that area isn't easy to find read more
When it comes to ice cream, I don't normally play favorites, but Sampaguita is serving lewks and scoops like no other. I love all the Filipino inspired flavors, and if you haven't tried halo halo yet in your life, it's time to cross that off the bucket list here. Besides that, you can't go wrong with any flavors, my favorite is Guava cheesecake & Ube latte double scoop waffle cone ($8.50). The service is awesome and will give you all the creamy inside scoop on what to get if you're not sure, as well as sample to your hearts content :) read more
A great alternative if you don't want the usual classic ice cream flavors. I had so much fun trying some of them and I will definitely be back for more as they have such a variety and other desserts as well! The interior made me feel as if I was in Palm Springs! Don't come here expecting some basic vanilla flavor (they do have plain vanilla though) because you'd be missing out on trying the best ice cream flavors in town! Sampaguita is a Filipino-inspired ice cream shop that delivers bold, rich flavors that brings me back to my childhood. Pictured here is a cup of two flavors: Ube Latte and Keso Guava Cheesecake. A-MA-ZING!!! I love ube and cheese so I hope to see an ube and cheese flavor one day :) Catch them at local markets! So far I have tried their regular ube, pandan, and champorado. Came here for ice cream. I love the unique asian flavors they offer. I got the pandan and it was good. I wish it was creamier. We also tried the milo s'more's one. Didn't really taste the milo flavor. Also quiet experience for a tiny scoop. The store was super cute and had a decent amount of seating. Service was good. Such a great ice cream place. Beautiful and peaceful decor . There was a pretty long line to order, but it moves very quickly. There are some really fun flavors- I had an ube latte in a waffle cone- it was perfect and refreshing. We also tried the jackfruit and chilling nuts, and soy sauce and butterscotch everything was delicious. In our group we also had an Oreo milkshake, a chocolate peanut butter scoop, and the flavor of the month that was a beautiful pineapple coconut vanilla ice cream drink. My kids loved it. We'll definitely be back. read more
This place is a vibe. It was just what I needed after playing a few hours of beach volleyball. The smell of delicious waffle cones hits you as soon as you open the door. Everything tasted so good. I went for the traditional, classic sampugita flavor which is a lovely mix of almond and vanilla flavors. I will definitely be back for the mango sorbet. read more

One of the best ice cream choices in town, flavors are so refreshing, they have vegan options, and the flavors are always different. I got ube brownie with their sorbet. The atmosphere is very trendy and be prepared for there to be a line. Parking is in the back, and it can be a challenge to get a spot nearby, but there is also street parking as an option. Tip: Weekends have been ridiculously busy, consider going on a weekday if not a fan of crowds. read more
This dessert spot has quickly become one of my favorite places to visit. I tried their famous Halo Halo, and it did not disappoint. My only feedback is that the Halo Halo lacked the traditional red sweet beans, and the portion was a bit small for $10, leaving me wanting more. My boys ordered the Champorado ice cream, and they both enjoyed it. The service was great, and the place was very clean. All three of us agreed that we'd definitely come back. Loved everything about Sampaguita! I was in Orlando for work and took a taxi straight from the airport to check it out, and it was totally worth it. I got the mini flight which was perfect for tasting 5 out of the many delicious flavors they offer. I got the Champorado, Rocky Road, Ube Pandan, Mango Pie and the signature Sampaguita, which turned out to be my favorite, although I loved them all. They had so many more flavors and sweet treats that I wish I could've tried. The space itself is super cute, welcoming and they've got plenty of seating inside. I loved the tropical vibe; very instagram-able. There was a line out the door but service was quick and staff was kind and accommodating. They also have the cutest Sampaguita merch featuring artwork by Alex Cabal available for purchase. They also had a (very clean) bathroom, as well as a lot for parking in the back of the building. read more

Truly a fantastic ice cream shop! I love that the focus is on Filipino and other Asian flavors. Definitely makes for a very unique and special experience. The people working here are fantastic and provide some of the best service around. So patient and helpful in helping you decide what flavors to get. Finally, the ambiance is fantastic. A mix of modern and tropical, it is such a wonderful place to spend time cooling off and hanging out with friends. Keep up the great work :) read more

This was so delicious. This was an explosion of flavor! I can't even begin to describe my surprise when I bit into corn flakes! That definitely brought me back to my childhood. The coconut slices and combination of flavors were just perfect. I'm so glad I tried this one. read more

Sampaguita and ube latte with a cone on top Sampaguita (sahm-pa-GEE-tuh) Almond vanilla bean ice cream perfumed with a hint of jasmine + lychee jellies. Ube Latte (OO-beh or OO-bee) An espresso-forward flavor. Sweet purple yam ice cream swirled with french roast ice cream. 4/5. Tasty. Really like the unique Asian flavors. The combination of the sampaguita and ube latte worked really well together - they're also their 2 most popular flavors. Service was good, although I don't think they offered sampling. read more

I finally got a chance to go to Sampaguita! I went in the middle of the day, and the line was out the door. I was with my toddler and it was hot outside but we both really wanted to try out the Filipino ice cream that everyone has been raving about. We waited for about 5 minutes outside until there was enough room to go inside. There were so many unique flavors and you are able to sample them before choosing. I seriously wanted to get all of them but ended up just getting three flavors. It was the perfect amount for me and anything more would be too much. All the people behind the ice cream bar were pleasant, despite it being so busy, so I really appreciated that. The decor inside was so modern and refreshing. I see this place all over TikTok! They have Halo Halo which I've been dying to try so I stopped in with some friends. This place is so cute! They sell their own Sampaguita merch stickers and t shirts, which are adorable by the way. I love the aesthetic inside and the workers were so nice. This is the first time I've had Halo Halo but apparently it means mixture. It was delicious and had many layers to it. It had Ube and Vanilla ice cream. It had flan which goes so well! There were gummies, shaved ice, cereal, and coconut shreds in it as well. It was a very unique and tasty dessert. The presentation was great as well. I've driven by this place so many times and would have never guessed it was an ice cream place. It is so pretty inside and out. They specialize in Filipino ice cream. I came in for a visit with my sister. The ice cream come in a variety of delicious flavors and they have vegan options as well (always a plus!). They offer samples which is great and I tried about 4 flavors but ultimately decided on the birthday mamon. My sister got a vegan halo halo. Although the place was busy and the seating is limited, people rotated in an out making it easy to find a spot to enjoy our ice cream. read more

Came here while on vacation in Orlando. I was so excited to try this place because of all the unique flavors. They had a nice variety of flavors I ended up choosing the Keso Guava Cheesecake and the Soy sauce butterscotch. To be completely honest it was ok. I was expecting the flavors to be more pronounced and unique. They tasted like American flavors with non American names. Service was slow and at no fault to the young lady. It was only her up there by herself, I came in with 4 kids and more people came in after. There seemed to be more people working in the back, it would've been nice if they came out to assist her. Very pretty tropical decor. Plush tufted booths, beautiful colored tiles and lush wallpaper makes it great for pictures. Parking is available in the shared lot behind the building. read more
There's a reason why this Filipino ice cream place has a line out the door and is practically impossible to find seating inside. They even have options for vegans which I believe is an Ube soft serve. Also love that they have flavors you wouldn't find else where and I was overwhelmed but ultimately I chose the jackfruit because I've only ever enjoyed jackfruit in savory dishes, never in a dessert and I ended up loving it. This ice cream is super rich and a little goes a long way. I'm excited to try their Ube soft serve next time. The inside is very beautiful with tropical wallpaper with reminded me so much of the Golden Girls. This is an ice cream parlor you have to try at least once. I am bursting with pride for Sampaguita! I remember when Greenery Creamery was first a Kickstarter campaign! Seeing them explode in popularity with their first brick & mortar, followed by a second location... and then the opening of this concept, I am just SO happy for all of their success! I've gotten to try Sampaguita a few times now and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a Filipino. The flavors on display here gave me so much nostalgia! From the Champorado to the Milo Rocky Road, or even the Ube latte, these popular Filipino flavors were present throughout my childhood and I love that the community is getting to enjoy these flavors in a fun, ice cream format. In fact, they're enjoying it so much that the line is often out the door and down the strip that the shop is located on! Parking in the lot behind the shop can be a little tricky here so if you can't find any in the lot, look for street parking along Woodward St. and Shine. Once you find a spot and make it into Sampaguita, be patient with the line! Get to know the flavors on the menu during the wait and enjoy the intoxicating smells that greet you when you get inside. Prepare to get ice cream wasted! My personal favorite is the signature Sampaguita flavor which has a vanilla bean base but a nice hit of jasmine + lychee jelly flavor! I'm a huge fan of lychee so that's why this one is my fave but if you have a hard time deciding and you're with a friend or two, get the flight so you can enjoy a little bit of everything! The mango peach pie and keso guava cheesecake are absolute bangers as well! And if you are feeling adventurous, get the Halo Halo, another personal favorite of mine (with Ube ice cream). It's pretty filling so you may want to plan on sharing. Sampaguita is an exploration of the richness of the owner's Filipino culture, their family traditions, and their self-identity so if you're looking for more classic ice cream flavors, I'm not going to suggest going somewhere else (lol) - I would recommend expanding that palette a bit and sampling some of the staff's recommendations! The lines are always wrapping every time I stop by. It is always definitely work the wait. The staff is always very sweet and patient. They have great suggestions and are very accommodating. My friend has a dairy allergy and absolutely loves coming here for the soft serve. If you are indecisive like I am, I got the flight and was able to split with 2 friends. It includes 6 scoops of ice cream and 6 different toppings. If you don't want scoops you can also replace it for soft serve with no additional charge. If you have allergies or certain dietary restrictions, I would definitely recommend coming here. There are many options. read more

Treat o'clock event at Sampaguita courtesy of @yelporlando was so awesome. This place is so beautiful. We went in today and were in awe with how beautiful it is inside. I ordered the Guava Keso single scoop and it was delicious. Tasted like the real thing. Waffle cone was fresh and crispy. I ordered separately for my kids. We were able to try the flavors before we ordered which was a huge plus. Two of my girls go the soft serve ice cream in a cup and one got the birthday cake scoop. She loved it. This place has it all. Amazing food, service and the ambiance is on point. I'm still thinking about my delicious icecream. If you love their sister company Greenery Creamery you will love Sampaguita even more. The decor here is stunning. This is not your ordinary icecream shop. This Filipino ice cream has a very smooth flavor with very interesting flavors. I had the Ube Latte flavor. I love that they offer vegan and regular icecream. There is something for everyone from fruity icecream to chocolate. It was everything and more. My son got birthday cake and my husband had the ube/vanilla swirl soft serve. We all left amazed by the flavors and overall experience. The team is extremelly friendly and inviting. They seem very well staffed for how busy they are. The line moved fast. Back again! I love this place because even though I'm lactose intolerant, I can still enjoy an ice cream cone. The Coffee & Biskwit is my favorite and it's made with oatly. Service was very fast. You can try samples before you buy. It was busy when we came in but people left pretty fast so finding a seat wasn't hard. The place is very clean. read more

Don't go here if you don't wanna have delectable ice cream. As I've said before, if I like something, I'm gonna get the same thing every time and that pineapple ice cream and the guava ice cream (I can never remember the actual names but you'll see them) are to die for so that's all I get every time I come here on waffle cone.
