This location is so scary. A lot of panhandling and random people coming up from behind asking to load your car. Is you're a single woman/alone, I highly recommend not to go to this location. If you're doing an order pick up, good luck on trying to find parking in the designated areas. Customers use those for their own parking & not pick up. So, I arrived yesterday, at about 9:52. And I only have a plus membership, so they told me, that I had to upgrade for $55, so I can walk in early. I understand the upgrade, but what I don't understand, is that it's eight minutes before my time to walk in. I have been in the store long before 10 o'clock, because I have to be at work for nine every day. And I go in at least twice a week to pick up snacks, cupcakes, and cookies, for all of our guest and customers. Other than that, the other issue that I've had, is ordering something at the café, and I ordered 12 pretzels and the girl behind the counter told me it would be 5 minutes and it ended up being 28 minutes. If they do, they do not greet you, they simply pick up then put you on hold. The customer service at this Sam's Club is horrible! I do Club Pickup, and every single time I have to wait at least 15 minutes and end up having to call the service desk to get someone to help me. There are also plenty of free samples to try, some actually pretty good. Always check the electronic section for the open box or clearance items, they can have some ridiculous deals. This is the worst Sams Club in the Dallas area. It is very unorganized, dirty, lack luster employees, little to no customer service. They do not have enough check out stands open, only a couple and it is a high volume store so prepare to wait a long time to check out. It seems to cater to one group of people. The bakery is a joke about the only thing it has going for it is the floral department. There are no express lanes or self check outs (probably because the majority of the customers cannot understand English). After waiting an eternity in a line, you then wait in another line to get out the door. Overall poorly managed and filthy. read more

This is by far the WORST Sam's Club I have ever been in! This place is an absolute dump! Where to start...the prepackaged sliced cheese, one package full of mold, one of the prepackaged sliced prosciutto packages was brown and dried looking, I made a comment about it and when I came back they had only placed another package on top of it to hide it!!! Just like the moldy cheese, they left it on the shelf for some unsuspecting customer to buy! The large containers of dawn dishwashing liquid were all smashed on the top, some were leaking. When I went into the mens restroom the was a woman in there helping her elderly husband who apparently had an accident, an employee came in and said they would send a janitor to clean up the mess (maybe even fill the empty paper towel and toilet paper dispensers) but one has yet to show up. Today is Saturday so not only is it packed, the store and shelves are littered with empty sample cups and napkins. An absolutely disgusting experience. read more

Almost got ripped off by Deandre the so called manager at the location on Midway and LBJ. Took me 20 minutes of arguing to finally get them to honor the deal they made. Sams advertises a $10 credit to be used in the store when you spend $45 to join the club. I wanted to buy a battery and knock off the $10 on that purchase but they had to have a manager okay it because they had no idea how to do that deal. I had just explained the deal to the front desk and informed them of the details and they took my $45 saying it was okay, but the lady seemed to be upset that I was taking so long to get through the process of becoming a member since somebody else was waiting to join and though she agreed that this was their deal they had there was nothing ever given to me to prove that we had discussed this. Then there was the other deal that they offered for downloading their app. I did that and of course I erased the display add when I downloaded the app and played the little game it made me play to win some other free stuff. Then I was not given my password so I had to reset my new app membership and wait for an email to show up so I could relog in and all this while the battery department brings over one person who did not know anything and they said that they could not give me my $10 off without looking at that advertisement. Then I got upset and because they were trying to rip me off $10 so then they called over the other manager Deandre after I informed them I would want all my money back and that I was going to write a letter to corporate informing them of the utter lack of professionalism and inability to know what kind of promotions that they were running. Well then I had a free offer for some free food and I went and got some about 30 to 40 feet away while they sorted things out and guess what they started to install my battery. Well when I get back after a slice of pizza and a drink they are no closer to figuring out what is what and so I am showing them one other offer I just googled and found on the internet and its another company saying the same thing about joining Sams and getting $10 back. Well that was from groupon so now I see how the scam is working. They get you in with one ad and then when you argue about it they get you to look on google for it again and there is another similar ad where the rules are similar but they say that they will send you an email to get you the credit for the $10. Obviously he thought that was what I saw and so we went around and around some more as he tried to victimize me for $10. Well I am speaking various things into google to try to find the original ad I had saw because this was not it and about 20 minutes after we started arguing I shut him up permanently with evidence from my skill at googling when that advertisement that drew me in was found and it did not say anything about getting an email. It clearly said that they would give me $10 to spend in the store then and there. You see people this is probably a con game they play because no telling how many people read that second ad and then they just think it was on them and they misinterpreted that offer that they initially responded to. I knew better so I proceeded to raise hell and that liar knew all about this because as soon as I showed him the right ad he was caught and he was going to rip me off but that ad ruined his day it was awesome when he realized he was at fault or maybe he just got caught in the scam.
