I stopped by Discount Tire around 7:50 AM without an appointment and had a great experience. I needed two new tires, and Richard got me taken care of quickly and had me back on the road in about an hour and a half. He worked with me to find the right tires that fit both my needs and budget. During the inspection, he also spotted a nail in one of my rear tires and had it repaired at no cost, which I really appreciated. I've used DT for years- and here's why. So I'm up in Dallas on business and noticed I had a gash in the side of one of my tires. I thought, "this is a problem ". And being on business didn't have the attire needs to change my tire. Found a DT near my hotel and made an on-line appt for 8am the next morning. Got there and visited with Reymundo. Agreed that I had a problem and all I wanted to do was swap my spare for the bad tire and deal with all the tires when I get back home. Problem, my spare was made in 2015 and they can't put that on. I got new tires in January and returned home from vacation to find my car sitting on a flat. After getting air, I knew my first spot was Discount Tire, although my tires were not purchased at this location. I called to find out about the wait time, in which they looked me up, told me my tires were still under warranty and what my options would be. I was offered an appointment time and arrived a little earlier however the wait time was less than I expected. I walked next door to 7-11, got a snack and a drink and walked back and within 5 minutes I was informed my car was done. Indeed I had a dreaded screw in my tire but they had fixed it and had me out the door in less time than it took to get someone to put air into it for me to get to them. Customer service is great, what I spent on tires in January made me feel like I have gotten a steal of a deal and value for my money. I needed to take a 200 mile trip, and did feel comfortable withe the age of my tires, So I went to Discount Tire and I bought 5 new tires replacing the spare. When the guy was trying to lower the spare tire on my truck he was trying to use a tool that didn't fit he was putting all his weight and trying to turn it on and broke something. when I approached him and told him I had the correct tool in my truck. Then leaving with all brand new tires my left back tire went flat within 20 minutes. I call the store and was not offered any help at all, I let them now I was airing the tire up and should be there within 30 minutes. When I got back to the store and had it checked, I was told that the TPMS was installed incorrectly. I know if I had got on the highway at 70 mph. I would have had a blowout and most likely wrecked my truck at BEST! read more

I had a very weird experience at this location last Saturday. I came just to get air in my tires and the attendant was telling me about my tire health and that I needed to get new tires. I was perfectly fine with that, as that's typical. However, when I mentioned that I couldn't get tires today, he proceeded to try to convince me to reconsider (mind you, I've just told him I'm running late and need to leave) by telling me it wouldn't take long. I again, for the 3rd time said no. He then proceeded to ask me where I was headed, and when I responded he told me that my car *might* make it there, but it wasn't going to make it back to Dallas. At that point I said, "I said no, thanks" and started rolling my window up on him because what would provoke you to say something like that to somebody??? All for a Black Friday sale, which was mentioned in his pitch. Extremely unprofessional, uncomfortable and disrespectful especially when he was WRONG. I literally made it back and have been just fine. His comment caused me to have anxiety while driving as well.. this behavior is unacceptable and I won't be back. read more

Make an appointment online and come early, be prepared to wait. They are so busy. That being said, the parking lot and waiting room were insane but they got to me as pretty quick. On November 25th I made an appointment with Discount Tires to check a leak in the rear drivers side tire. It was victim to a road hazard, so having the certs in hand, I was ready to pay a replacement cert fee for my new tire. Adrian (who was great) suggested the other tire was needing to be replaced. These tires have a 70,000 warranty on them. I have driven 36,000 on them. WTF?! I originally bought them from Discount Tires. I bought the certs to go along with them. They should have another year and a half on them. They offered me a free replacement tire on the road hazard tire per the usual. They offered to replace the other (defective) tire for 1/2 the cost because of the warranty (great). My issue is they would not transfer the certification from the manufacturer defective tire on to the new tire replacement. They charged me $64.50 for the certification on the defective tire they sold me originally. That is a racket. I would understand if the tire had a road hazard and I used the certs or if the tire was a good tire and made it to manufacturer recommended mileage. Neither of those were true. I had to pay certs on a tire that was a terrible tire. That's a scam. Wasn't my fault the tire was defective. The two front tires rated at a 7 the back two were at a 3. One if those had metal in it. Obviously the second tire was defective and I should have to pay for the certs again. I might understand having to pay half certs per warranty coverage. read more

They only want your business if you are willing to buy their products. I spent over $500 dollars on three new tires for a vehicle that I had to sell due to flood damage. The used car I purchased to replace it two weeks later started to show sign of low tire pressure. I was told that I needed to purchase new tires for my replacement vehicle. When I said that I just wanted air in the tires because I couldn't afford to pay another $500 for more tires, I was told we will put air in your tires. My name was never taken, nor the keys to my vehicle. After sitting in the lobby for over an hour and a half, I noticed that other customers were being called by their names when their vehicles were ready. This place has a lot of business with a steady rotation of customers. If your name and info are not taken, you'll get ignored. NEVER AGAIN, I'll go to Firestone. read more

I had an emergency flat while working so I came to the nearest discount tire in the area and I wish they were my local shop.. when I pulled in and got my tires evaluated they had a full bay with another car or two waiting ahead of me. Got the front two tires replaced and promised a 45 minute wait time and got the car back Road in just over half of that somehow.! This is for the Discount Tires Synchrony credit card service & not for any specific tire store. I feel ripped off because the billing cycle seems to always have more charges than what I authorize. I even kept track for two months of every time I swiped my card and the total recorded via the My Synchrony credit card app was always higher. I am very diligent and can do simple and basic math yet it never made any sense. I even called customer service and she explained it in a way that made sense, but didnt apply to my situation so it obviously was no help. So I destroyed the card, will never use them again and will use a more straight forward and honest credit system. I had more success with a Target credit card in the past, for example. read more

What started out as a terrible morning was made significantly less stressful by discount tire. My left passenger tire went flat on Highway 30 on my way into work. It was my first flat, and I was anxious about the experience in general. Upon getting to Discount Tire, they had me in and out within 30 minutes with a brand new tire under $100. Their lobby was packed and I still felt as if the experience was quick and efficient. All of the employees were knowledgeable and friendly. I honestly don't know much about cars and don't usually try to handle car issues myself but I pulled in here with an emergency light on in my car and the guy that greeted me made sure that I needed work done in case it was something that could just be reset. Unfortunately my TMPS sensor had gone out but these guys had me in and out with the light off in just about 20 minutes. No attempts at selling things you don't need. Explained everything clearly. If you have a nice set of wheels and need to install tires don't come here. They scratched all four of my brand new $600 wheels with the impact socket. The guys that worked on my car looked like they lacked experience. One of them couldn't even get the tire on the wheel on the machine and almost dropped my wheel on the floor. I also had a set of expensive black spike lug nuts and the guy just opened the box and let them all fall and one of them got scratched. They also used a socket too big and it left marks on all my lug nuts. Just a really bad job in general. The guys that worked on my car just don't care for peoples things. Leaving our hotel after a 3 day trip to Dallas, had a low tire. Tried to air up & air machine wasn't working. Got spare put on, called this location & told service rep my problem, he said to bring it in, they should be able to work us in. They were 3 miles from our hotel & had us out the door in about an hour. Since we had purchased tires from them at another location in Colorado they fixed the flat for no charge.
