I like to give this Sam's club a positive 5 star review. For the tire department. So One of my car won't start due to it needs a battery replacement. I am planning to just DIY battery replacement myself at home so I can avoid paying tow fee to the auto shop. I first purchased from Costco next to my house, turns out my battery hold down has about half an inch gap when I called Costco asking the questions of how they deal with it, they were really rude to me. So I returned it to Costco next day. After that, I went to This Sam's club tire department and people in this tire department are super friendly, respectful and willing to take time to help me find my answer regard why the non-toyota brand battery are slightly narrower than the toyota factory one. And also told me how to check after I installed if it's okay. They even trying to be very thoughtful of double and triple check the size of the car battery size to help me avoid the need to visit multiple time if sizes end up wrong. Especially this location is not that close by my house. And I did successfully installed it with their knowledgeable suggestions. I Really appreciate that. read more

I really love coming to shop at this Sam's Club!!! They are always fully stocked of everything I need. The customer service is beyond phenomenal!!! Everyone we encountered was very helpful!!! Mark helped me with the cases of water, and was very nice to tell me to ask For take out/ help once we leave. For it to be a holiday week/weekend they had a lot of items and poultry. The lines weren't that long either. The curbside is always fast and easy as well. Chris helped us take our things to the car and he was a gem. He was very nice and professional and personable. Since Injury I can't carry heavy things, so it was nice seeing good employees help out fast and care. This is one of my fav Sam's Club!! **USE THE SCAN AND GO ON THE APP** It beats the hassle of long lines on weekends... Your typical warehouse shop, BUT good customer service is a hit or miss here. Sometimes I get great customer service, and other times it's bad. Like BAD! The ladies at the customer service last month were of great help-Surprisingly. Usually, I'm discouraged to go to that department because in general, the workers are tired of complaints or what not or returns or whatever, but the ladies were awesome and patient. I forgot their names unfortunately. But I appreciate their help. I was overcharged an item and had to head over there for a refund and since I was already there, I got a new membership card because I lost mine. Now, the bad part(s). Why are there usually sooo many shopping carts in the parking lot?!!! Are there not enough workers to retrieve and return them?Sometimes it gets difficult to actually "park" because the carts are in the way. Also, they don't have enough go carts for the disabled and when they do, they're not fully charged or let out a very loud sound/alarm when you're near the frozen food area warning you that you've gone beyond store shopping area and stops working. Wth?! After shopping, my kiddos and I usually stop by the cafe. I love using the app for this and order ahead because the lines are sometimes long. read more

I wasted 2 days repeatidly trying to join Sams Club but they declined my credit card that still has thousands of unused $'s PLUS is always paid completely off every month. My credit rating, if they bothered to check is 540 to 560 which means I walk on water. A year ago I had a similar problem with Walmart+,they are the same organization. At first purchases and delveries were fine but suddenly they stop and cut me off claiming my bank refused the orders. NOT TRUE. I called Chase and asked why and they said they denied nothing. Our "quick trip" to Sam's Club in Glendora and somehow my "I just need a couple things" always turns into a full cart (as per usual) The store is always clean, easy to navigate, and checkout is quick. This is why we frequent this one rather than the "other" wholesale bulk shopping store lol because if the self checkout!!!! Staff is usually friendly just not a fan of the on the way out with 15 min before closing that they close the women's restroom...beware of this if u have little ones!.anyway, our membership go to place for everything... cupcakes, books, snacks, you name it....Bulk shopping wins again! One of my favorite stores to shop for groceries and non food items alike. This store is always fully stocked as employees can be seen unloading pallets, opening boxes and stocking shelves all day long. All food items sold here are ALWAYS fresh. Employees are helpful and friendly and there is plenty of parking o in their huge parking lot. They also have a gas station adjacent to the store which offers gas for ten to twenty cents less per gallon than any other gas station within the exception of Costco. read more

This location seems a little bit smaller, but it's not as packed. Usually I work out then head on over for a pizza and hot dog. Everytime and almost anytime it's farless crowded, I can leisurely stroll through with no issues. This one is my preferred location. Scan and Go, Curbside Pick up, and Gas-- all easy and quick! I almost always use Scan and Go, many times there are items that have a scan and go discount! It's easy to use. I highly recommend using their Wi-Fi to use the app. You just scan while shopping and show your phone receipt qr at the exit and you are out of there. No having to wait in line to pay. If not, I will use self check out. Super quick and there are always employees there to help if needed. Curbside pick up is great also! read more

I love Sam's Club but they need to have a talk with the crew at the food court. Everytime I'm in the endless short line I see people leave angry because of the employees. They are always in a bad mood. I always make me feel like a jerk for ordering. And if you ask a question they get mad and give no help. And if your decide to buy a pizza your in trouble because you have to order it before hand. If your phone is dead no pizza. Or you can sit and wait at the pizza container thats always empty and fight for a pizza. And hope its the pizza you want. And nobody can help you. Nothing but condescending remarks. I have had nothing but good experiences over the years at Sam's. Year in and year out, Sam's delivers excellent prices and a great shopping experience, so frankly, it's high time I wrote a review! Selection: Even with our eldest having moved away, we are about as far from being empty nesters as one can get, with three hungry young adults living under our roof. As such, when we go shopping, we really go shopping. If you've read my restaurant reviews, you know I am on a really strict version of the Mediterranean diet, but don't let the word "diet" mislead you. I eat as much as I want, and I don't count calories. While I've struggled in the past to find what I want at some restaurants, at Sam's I can get everything I need. Fresh, wild caught salmon, olive oil by the gallon, raw unsalted walnuts, fresh vegetables, and egg whites: they have them and in abundance. Prices: Prices are competitive. Even with my relatively expensive tastes, we don't spend that much of our income on food. Sure, it helps that we don't eat out nearly as much as we once did, but that's not the secret. Our secret is buying high quality food in bulk. We buy big packs of fresh salmon and repackage them into meal-sized freezer bags. We buy the gallon-sized olive oil and save a bunch there, too! Oh, and while we are there, we gas up at the Sam's club pumps, often saving 40 cents a gallon on gas! Atmosphere: It's a big box store. That tells you most of what you need to know, but I'll expand a bit. The place is kept clean, and it's well organized with extra wide aisles. The bathroom isn't hidden in some nook that you need a map to locate, and like the rest of the store, it's kept clean. Honestly, I just like the high ceiling warehouse aesthetic. I'd live in a converted warehouse if I could, but that's a story for another day. Parking: The parking lot is massive. There is always enough parking, and handicapped parking appears to be plentiful. Convenience: There are a few ways to get into the Sam's parking lot, so if one street is jammed, you can always still get in and out. My favorite convenience feature of this store, however, is the app. You can filly our basket, scanning your items while you go. Once you are ready to leave, pay on the app and show your proof of payment to the folks at the exits. They may scan a few random items to ensure everything is above board, but they are lightening fast and will have you out in no time. This alone is a game changer. In short, Sam's is great, and this location in Glendora is wonderful. Whether you need gas, groceries, tires, batteries, or just a slice off pizza, Sam's has you covered. See you there! read more

I have plus, I love being able to come at 8am. You get the mark downs before most people and there are very few early shoppers so there's no crowds. The sushi here is good and for some reason when I come here I buy food and not a bunch of snacks, like at Costco. Bargain prices for so many things and check out is so easy with scan and go. The food court doesn't open until 10am but all other premade food like sushi and rotisserie chicken are ready when they open for plus members. Also free Wi-Fi! That's awesome especially when you use the app because sometimes I can't get reception in the warehouse. read more

I just love the Pharmacist people here. They love their jobs. They go above and beyond for me and I appreciate it so much. This is the only location that carries my dogs ear drop medication. I would spend around $200 at the vet while here I spend $60 or under! My dog has anxiety and the medication was a lil out of my price range and I wasn't sure if Sams club would have it. The lady went through so many lists for me to make sure I would be able to get it shipped to my house. Such an angel. The male pharmacist is amazing too. He got me to upgrade my basic membership to the higher one and I get like 40% off medication. Not only is the medication cheap but to also have a discount on top. Amazing! I saw a cake online and thought it's cute and I know my daughter would love it! So I ordered it from the Bakery - it looked small and I thought it's only big enough for her so I ordered a quarter sheet also. I went to pick up and to my surprise they were both huge- the small round cake is a regular cake size and the quarter sheet is really a half sheet. At this point we had enough for two parties not just the family -lol ! The cakes are moist and full of flavor I ordered the marble and it was frosted with a butter cream that was perfect not too sweet and overpowering. They both had the cutest Hello Kitty Background and came with cookie cutters in the form of Hello Kitty as well as a Rolling Pin! I am more than satisfied with the cakes and the bakers at Sam's Club. Stopped by for new tires! Something, somewhere went wrong and the wrong tires were purchased. We got a call immediately after we left. Luckily they had the right ones in stock! Of course something weird happened with the refund and not just one or two people came To help but four! Sure it can be frustrating for everything to feel like it was going wrong but how can you not feel like you're being taken care of with four employees jumping in to help. We've been members at Sam's for a long time and times like this are why. I really love Sams club. I do curbside pick up usually twice a week. I have a heavy work schedule so I try to pick up my groceries the easiest way possible. I find everything I need and more. I dont visit the other whole sale club as much anymore since Sams has everything I need. The only downfall Is the fact that I never get signal in my mobile when I Park at curbside pick up. It was one of this Christmas shopping day that I went to several places. I spent the whole day shopping until I dropped! I was at Sam's club , suddenly I had hunger pains. I realized that I didn't have breakfast or lunch and it was around 5 PM. So, I went to the food court to order some food. The line was very long and kind of slow. Anyway, I orderd supreme Pizza, Hot dog and plain Pretzel. It took about 45 minutes between the long line and the time I got my order. The food was okay, the pizza wasn't greasy at all. Curbside is a joke. You have people parking there that go into the store so there's no spaces and when you do finally find a space. Good luck having service to log in to tell them you are there. I've had Verizon, t-mobile, spectrum phones and none connect. As if they have a cell phone jammer. Cell companies should look into it. Beware of Optical! I literally went to SAMS just to pick up my contacts. Instead I had a horrible experience on Sunday. All I was doing was picking up contacts. Nothing else! No fitting, just a click and pay away. Optician was rude, because they were with another member, told me to come back 20 to 30 minutes later. Which I did 20 minutes later. No acknowledgment, no customer service. I had to say hello, anyone! She said she had to sign out of system and no estimated wait time. I explained, this was a waste of my time! I was not going to wait when the other member was still trying on glasses. All she had to do is sign out, literally spend 1 minute for me to pay for contacts and be on my merry way. Instead I leave empty handed. I guess I'll now be going to Costco for my optical needs. When I call to complain no response back, crickets! Sam's Club in Glendora is always busy with so many cars which makes parking kind of troublesome here. Even though the parking lot is huge I think overall a lot of people shop here. The lines are long, checkout takes forever and it just seems like they overall need more staff members at this location. If you haven't been to Sam's Club before you need to have a membership to purchase their products and supposedly it is at a discounted price. When they have a bright yellow sign it means it is discounted and it will give you a breakdown of how much discount is given. I come here usually to just buy snacks and chips. Still have never tried their food court items yet! But maybe I will some day. read more

Let's just make sure you understand the rating is for the cafe section. Worst customer service who then uses their power behind the counter to delay your order. It does not matter if you are polite, they do not care. I went to customer service so that I could get my milk replaced since it had been sitting out for 40 min. The supervisor apologized for the delay and assured they would contact the cafe supervisor and notify them. I walked back to tables and co tinted to wait. No one came over to me to let me know the status. Meanwhile they are shutting down the cafe still no pizza I only ordered two. A man came with the replacement milk and apologized for the delay and still no pizza. Then the girl who kept telling me they would call my number and then to get in line, and then to wait again left. But she made sure to look right at me emails and kept walking. That was the rudest thing ever. I waited again and then finally had enough ( keep in mind, we are at the front tables right in front). I walked up there and they said how can we help you as if they had not seen me for the last 50 min. While everyone else was getting pizza and food. I gave them my number again and they said we called you, this is the most maddening display of the worst customer service ever. My sone was there waiting when I went to co plain to customer service, so no.... No one called our number. And I was just there when they said 5 more minutes 15 min ago. Not one of their staff apologized, no one admitted to messing up. All you did was give us the old pizzas not even a fresh one thanks a lot sams club, so rude! Sam's and costco are both wholesale warehouse. They sell similar products. Sam's have member marks and costco have Kirkland as store brand. Both sells fast food at a discount price. Costco still have the best price for hot dog and drink @ $1.50. Sam's sell pretzels and Icee. Sam's check out line is not as crowded as costco. However, costco still have an edge over most products than Sam's. In my opinion base on having shopped at both warehouse. Costco is a better warehouse. read more

I got in line for the food court well before 7pm. Thanks to the slow service, by the time I get to the front of the line to order, it's now after 7pm. I try to order a whole pizza and am told that they're no longer making whole pizzas as it's after 7pm. On top of which, I was told that the credit card machine is out of order and payments needed to be in cash. Pretty much every time I've gone to the food court, the credit card machine is out of order. This is just ridiculous! Avoid this mismanaged place. read more
