Honestly every time I have an issue at this store I always get the "tough shit" attitude. I placed an online order and was trying to wait to pick it up but I had other errands to run in the area. So I stopped in.. The store was busy today. There were people in line and at a point 2 cashiers. As I was waiting in line, the 2nd cashier steps off to stock more candles...as if this store needs anymore fuckin candles. when I get to the front of the line, the woman informed me that my order hasn't been picked. Mind you it had already been like four hours since I had picked my order. She tells me that my order will probably be ready tomorrow. As I'm walking out of the store, I noticed that the employee was stocking the candles and asked her if she could possibly pick my order while I was here. And she told me that there were over 100 other orders in the queue and that they couldn't jump the queue. Make it make sense. How is it more important, stocking candles, and fulfilling orders? I'm super annoyed that I have to go back. It's been about seven hours and then my order still hasn't been fulfilled. read more

A bunch of opportunistic hyenas working at this location. I secured my Nightmare Before Christmas order when it dropped at 3AM pacific time. To no surprise, my most coveted items were marked "out of stock" as they probably arrived to work and divided the merch among themselves and friends. I was lucky to get the jack house wall plug. I spoke to the manager who claimed other people were ahead of me in orders and they only had 1 item when they opened their doors today, one!!! Mind you, it was general release today and they literally only had 1 available? The funny thing is that there was an employee or friend of them at the counter who walked away very happy and with 2 full bags of merchandise when I was there picking up my order and purchasing other items. One can only assume what was in those bags. I make this assumption because since my candle holder was "out of stock" I returned the sally candle which I solely bought because of the candle holder in the first place. As soon as they saw the candle, they offered it to the employee/friend at the counter!!!! Very poor customer service and just a bunch of opportunistic hyenas working here! When I was paying, the cashier said tgat I had x3 free gifts. So I got those and when she rang me, I had plus another gift which totalled to x4. The place is big enough to have x80 customers at once. I came in October for the pre-Christmas sale. I picked up a lot of candles, and I finished up my Christmas shopping. Arianna greeted me with a warm welcome and asked what brings me in. The candle sale. Arianna walked me over to the wall of candles. She assisted me and even showed me some new sent's. WOW did I enjoy her suggestions and placed them in my basket to. So this is a quite a few weeks old, I was there on 12/17/25. It's a hit or miss here most of the time. Sometimes employees can be out right rude and not helpful and other times, they can go above and beyond. Happy to say, this time was one of those great times! Alina H., was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable in her products and policies. She was feeling under the weather but was still extremely jolly for the busy retail season. I myself work retail, a front supervisor and it can be overwhelming at times. So it was nice to see someone with exceptional customer service. She offered me cellophane bags, ribbon, and name tags for all of my items. It was very kind of her to take the time to count all of them for my gifts. I hope she wasn't just seasonal, they should've definitely hired for permanent work. read more

Carol is a great manager! The staff can't be a hit or miss like when I came by the guy didn't tell me the item I was using my freebie on was on sale so that felt like a waste. Also the girl I came to pick up my items from didnt pull both of my online orders she did one then went back to get the other which felt could have been more efficient with. Process them sure individually but grab both bags when you're getting the items. They usually have in stock what you're looking for. Would recommend this location. read more

It is my go to Bath and Body Works. The place is always clean and organized. The employees are very attentive and friendly. I found out that they release the new Fall  collection,with scents like Autumn S'mores, Freshly Brewed Coffee, Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla,  White Pumpkin, Pumpkin Pecan waffles,  and Blueberry Pumpkin Patch. There is a coming event for  members. It's a member exclusive for Halloween sneak peak collection, one day only on July 14. In addition to, current 75% on select sale items.I love the new scent of the 3-Wick candles.I fell in love with freshly brewed coffee. It is a pleasant scent specially for both coffee and book lovers.  Also, The White Gardenia smells heavenly. This location is not very helpful. Even when I asked for help, they weren't willing. Then when I went to check out several items that I was purchasing, the employee starts to tell me what she needs me to do. At first, I was being very understanding and patient. Formal complaint regarding cashier#4069118. Incident occurred on 12/05/2025. I think the cashier's name is Iritzi. Very rude and unpleasant. Waited quite a while in line and this cashier did not bother to say hi or thank me for waiting. Just rudely asked to enter my phone# as if I should already know the drill. Purchased some candles and also picked up an online order. It took her awhile to get my order and I could see her chatting with another employee while I waited patiently. At the end of the transaction she did not even bother to say thank you. Overall this store needs a more attentive and friendlier staff. Employees were just chatting amongst each other instead of attending to customers especially the ones by the entrance. When you say excuse me to ask a question they look at you like- how dare you interrupt our conversation. The cashiers on the other hand need serious customer service training and some common etiquette that even kids know about. read more

Went in around 8pm on a Monday night and was not greeted by anyone, was not asked if I needed help, was not told about any of the promotions they had going on. It was December 22nd and the store was fully staffed, but definitely not super busy. I heard everyone else get greeted as they walked in, and offered help as well. While standing in line I debated on if I should just put my basket down & walk out, but when the cashier called my name, I decided to just ask to speak to a manager. Upon talking to the cashier who was the nicest, kindest and only none racist employee there, I decided to just buy my $250 dollars worth of stuff and leave. The cashier was a gem, and made me feel better about spending my money there but I will not be back anytime soon to this location, if ever. read more

The lack of customer service from some of the employees is disgraceful. I used to work at this location many moons ago. Let me just say the behaviors I experienced today never would've been tolerated. As I got in line to check out (I was the only customer waiting) there were two employees off to the side. Neither of them addressed me or bothered to stop what they were doing to assist me. Instead, one kept breaking down boxes while the other was writing on a clipboard (she may had been a manager). They were extremely chatty and even talked to the employee who was actually checking out customers. When it was finally my turn, one of the girls started a conversation about another customer right in front of me, again distracting the girl from working. It was then the same girl who then stopped what she was doing to assist the next customer in line. Why didn't she do the same for me? The girls gave off immature and rude attitude. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! THE CURRENT EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT! Okay, shopping during the holidays is not IT, but luckily this store passed the vibe check with flying colors!!! The workers were so nice and talkative, and the woman who rang me up was hilarious!! She was like "girl thank you so much for being kind, we just had a Karen in here screaming her butt off so you're appreciated!" I literally laughed out loud! The Glendora location of Bath & Body Works continues to my favorite branch of choice for this brand. Even though I am not an avid buyer anymore, due to the nonstop price increase every other month, it seems, when there's a good sale, and I do pull my trigger, I always try my best to give my business to the Glendora store. (But seriously, everything's soooo overpriced now. Marketing, please stop. Do your audience and economy research more diligently. We're buying much, much less!) Everything I like about this store still rings true: Products are well stocked. Staff is friendly and efficient. Everyone seems well trained. The showroom is clean, spacious, and neat. Shopping here is generally a positive and rewarding experience. I have already voiced my opinions several times prior to this most updated review, so feel free to give my previous write-ups a read. There were good times. There were bad times. But I keep coming back to this convenient location. I do love it. But what prompted me to reiterate my feelings and give this location a 5-star review is that, amidst the chaotic failure of policy changes in recent years, this branch continues to uphold the standard the central corporate office sets for each individual venue to follow. In particular, if you're not satisfied with any particular product, this store will still do what we the community called an "even exchange". As long as your product is new or only gently used, you can still go back and exchange for the same product type (same ticket price), no questions asked, and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. So for example, if you change your mind about your 3-wick candle, go back and exchange for another 3-wick that you find more favorable. (AGAIN, THIS MERCHANDISE NEEDS TO BE NEW, OR ONLY GENTLY USED. We are not trying to take advantage for BBW here.) The same logic applies to body cream, fragrance mist, etc. If you have a problem with your body cream, you can exchange for another body cream of the same ticket price. Many, many other stores are having difficulty following this simple procedure. And believe me, any store that fails to follow such a simple premise, I won't be going back and spending my coins on them. As someone who only does exchange only every 3 to 6 months or so, or even, this is fair to both the patrons, the staff, and the company. I don't intend to "rip off" BBW, but I do expect my hard-earned money to purchase products that live up to their expectations pleasingly. And I am grateful for this store in Glendora to still thrive for the best experience they can give to their valued customers. read more

I came in to return a wallflower that was leaking after 8 months of use. They told me this was normal wear and tear, they had no more and this was a discontinued style. And that wall flowers are only good for 6 months. I do not see this anywhere on their website that 6 month is the life of the product nor that the product is no longer available. I placed a small pickup order online & when I picked up the order, the cashier said that they were out of stock on one of the products & she did not give a replacement. Customer service is not good! The employees who greet you at the door are the most UNHELPFUL people. Ask them where something is and the answer was , over there ! I think they are just excited to say WELCOME AND HAND OUT THE SHOPPING BASKETS. Plus there were like 10 of them giggling with each other. This is the second time I have been in there . In November, my daughter and I mentioned how the employees do not have good customer service skills. I went again last week and asked where an item was and the employee answered, over there. After explaining to another employee, I can't find what I was looking for he said over there in the island! Really??? You can't take a minute to walk over there and show me? PS The Pasadena store is so much better in my opinion! Ask an employee there and they walk you to the item. Maybe the Glendora employees should go to Pasadena and have job training. read more

Started off nicely as I was directed to the 60% off table. I purchased 28 items (candles, soap, keychains and hand sani) and went to pay. I asked for 7 brown bags since I was gifting items to 7 coworkers. The gal agrees and says the max is 10 but we are good since I only need 7. She then forgets to put them in the big bags for me. I arrive home to discover they weren't included. I called and said I would be coming back later for them. I wasted gas and time going all the way back only to be told I can't have brown bags. I am only allowed to have their dusty cellophane bags with the Christmas looking bow. Is this new? I just made a big purchase like this not long ago and it wasn't an issue! Never again. Now have to wait 5 days for money to release. Customer service also was horrible said they cant do anything. This Bath & Body Works location has been my go to spot for many years. I came back again with my mom to check out the new scents for the season and exchange a few things we had purchased from the store. The store was pretty busy just before the holidays. There are many testers available of different body sprays and lotions. I love how they have a sink counter that allows you to try out some of the new soaps. The store is clean and well organized! They are always available to help you! After waiting in line, Dora was very patient and helped us exchanged each of the items for new scents. We appreciated this friendly service on our visit. She not only was impatient and nasty with my mother who has an accent but left us standing there while she walked away to help another cashier during our transaction. We were left confused. I have never been to a Bath & Body Works store and had such EXCELLENT customer service! There was a young man with short blonde hair who was very helpful with the cologne & perfumes fragrances and even though the women's were little to none available, there is an overload of mens products...usually it's the opposite. A big shout out to Desiree, such a wonderful person to interact with. She was very helpful and we chatted a bit. I smelled so many fragrances and wanted them all! I came here to specifically pick up some "Ocean" for my partner (great Valentine's Day gift) and saw that their wallflower plugs were so attracting. I told myself not to go overboard and went with just a plain black plug which was only $5.50. My last one kept turning the plug ins dark. I think this review is more for their phones customer service. (The 1-800 #). I went into the store, everyone was nice. At the register I get asked if I want to be part of their rewards. The cashier talks me into it since I am purchasing over 100 dollars I said yes. She said "ok, it will ask you the questions as you pay." We paid with card and none of our info made it into the system. The lady behind the register looked lost and confused. She said "oh you paid with card, thats why it didn't ask you to input your info." Me and my husband just looked at her like shouldn't you expect this before the customer pays that it will either be cash or card.... there are only 2 options. She tells is to call the # on the register and get the app first. And this is where things get weird. I did exactly as she said and was greeted with the most incompetent customer service I have ever dealt with. The lady on the phone didn't even know what I was talking about. I told her I had the receipt. I just wanted them to add my rewards. She said "they will appear." Lady... not if nobody got my info in the store. I could tell that she was typing a lot. Idk what she was typing. She said she had to wait to see if "her betters wanted to take my case." In the end I just said a quick bye and was annoyed with the incompetence of it all. You talk me into something and then you don't deliver... why would they tell me to call that # when it was clear they didn't know what I was taking about? A lot of places have a good system for inputting rewards based on a receipt. Its a dumb thing to be angry about I guess. But I was just annoyed at the whole situation. read more

Look I'm fully aware shopping in person in the time of COVID is stressful, for the employees- and for us. I've been home for most of the year as we all have, and needed a gift for someone in hospital. I tried the website but it wouldn't be as personalized, so I bit the bullet so to speak and went in person. I've learned during this time to be so patient, and the long line was challenging. Only 10 people are allowed in at a time. They have a station set up in front of the store to take your own bag to shop with. I was a bit confused anout that- grocery stores have carts and baskets, but I guess they can't. OK fine. Before you enter, and employee will shout at the line reminders of 6ft social distance rules, and advise you there are no testers anymore. They helpfully added that BBW has a liberal return policy, so if you get home and don't like it, you can return it. (Although I can't imagine going through this again to return something..) Also they suggested whilst waiting in line we all get the phone app and sign up for the rewards because the "internet" in store doesn't work so well. OK, well I did it also because my bday was in the next day or so and my DD told me BBW gives you some sort of HappyBDay gift. Once inside (waited about 15 minutes, so not too bad) I remembered after a few moments why it is kinda stressful shopping here: 50% off one line of products, but that line is scattered in 3 places of the store, already- packaged gift sets of the discounted line were excluded. Then there's the "buy 2 get one" of the littles, but will that be less than buying within the discounted line? UGH you see what I mean? Also soaps are usually 4/$20 on sale, but I don't need that many... and on and on. Several times while shopping I turned and nearly bumped into an employee... They're asking us to social distance but they reach over, come up behind, and are zipping around pretty quickly around people, in amd out of cabinets and shelves, you have to be careful. Finally made my choices- being mindful to be quick because of the people waiting outside-made my way to register and asked cashier about the clear wrap for my gift selections. First she told me they don't do that anymore then she said she could give me some it to wrap it myself, but they ran out, then she said they had some but I had to go get it "from that table"... Uh have you Seen your store, there are like 100 tables. Meanwhile, the cashier next to me was having her client wait while an employee got the wrap for her, no problem. Why did I have to get my own? I ended up asking that employee if I could just have one of those she had. Birthday gift? apparently I have to go back and get it after my BDay (Its tomorrow). read more

I went and bought Scent-portable for my car Bath & Body Works they had a special 2/$6 or 4/ $10 so I thought that was a good deal so l purchase 4/$10 I put one in my car next thing I know the liquid oil leaked out onto the dash my stereo went down all the way to my middle Consol I got in touch with Bath & Body Works they give me a claim number they said they're going to look at it they send an adjuster I took it to the dealer I did everything they asked me and for two weeks after we did everything that they asked me they been ignored me. The cashier got an attitude when I went to bring up my gift card on my phone. She insisted no screenshots and then stood with an attitude when it took me several minutes to find my email containing the giftcard. I.e the reason I screenshot it. It's a stand alone location and is therefore less crowded so that's the only reason I'd suggest going here. Their stock isn't very exciting and the staff leaves much to be desired. read more
