Modern setup, and honestly pretty cool once you get rolling. The customer service was extremely friendly. Everyone we talked to was patient and upbeat, making sure we understood how the app worked before we even started shopping. They didn't rush us or assume we knew the system -- they walked us through it and made the whole experience easy. The store was super clean and organized, and they even had a robotic cleaner roaming through the aisles keeping everything spotless. It gave the place a futuristic vibe and showed how much pride they take in keeping things tight. Parking was easy -- the lot has a good amount of spaces, so you're not circling around trying to find a spot. Quick in, quick out. Shopping with the app was smooth -- scan as you go, keep it moving, and when you're done, checkout is actually fun. Contacts- still the best deal priced around (vs 1800c, Warby combos, etc.) . Use the app- to best identify if a product is in stock/aisle location and check-out. You can modify payment within the app. If there are issues, try GetHuman for Customer Service. You can try and resolve issues at the Customer Service desk in person. It's all a matter of how to spend your time. Weekends are solid for in-house sampling and the assist on what to cook for dinner. They te d to keep on top of house item trends. Search the site to see what they have in-house. Same owners as Wal-Mart. Expect similar inventory. I appreciate their selection of beauty wellness and supplements, too. Not sure what's up with all the average reviews but this place has been awesome to us. Ever since the days of the pandemic, we've been frequenting this Sams location off lower Greenville. Their app is amazing (so much better than that other big box retail store!). This location is even better than a normal sams bc there are no cashiers. You just scan your products in the app and pay as you exit. A staff member scans your checkout code and you are good to go. Now, it doesn't have ALL the items of a normal sams but it is pretty stocked with the basics (fruits, veggies, meats, household essentials). I also love that the app also works at the regular sams and you can skip the line there as well. The curbside pickup at this location was our savior during the pandemic and we've continued to use it to this day. Every team member at this location has always been super nice and the store itself is always well maintained and clean. Definitely worth checking out to see if it is for you! read more

I have been a member for 18 years. I upgraded my membership to plus to take advantage of free shipping. Without any notice, the free shipping option now requires a $50. 00 minimum purchase despite the website showing any purchase minimum. I often buy a coffee product not offered in the Dallas area stores to be shipped. Because the cost is below the $50.00 threshold I am charged $8.00 shipping making this product not competitive from a cost perspective. I will be giving serious consideration to letting my membership expire and move to a competitor. read more

Sam's Club Now is an interesting experiment in shopping. They carry the most popular items you'll find at Sam's Club minus the electronics and furniture and stuff like that. It's basically food and paper goods. You have to use the app which makes it feel kinda agist. Something tells me you won't see a lot of senior citizens shopping here...which might be a good thing because there's also no one around to stop thieves. Yep, there are like two employees in the store and it's self-service which to some people means FREE. People literally walk in and walk out with a shopping cart of goods and no one bothers to stop them. Sure, there are cameras everywhere but what good does that do? I never see the local news showing video of Sam's Club shoplifters. So the question becomes...do I really want to shop somewhere that doesn't care if you pay for your groceries? That doesn't have any security? That uses an honor system? Personally, I don't. read more

The future of grocery shopping is here! I absolutely love this Sam's and the concept. Its basically a smaller version of the regular warehouse model but with a few ready to go meals ( meatloaf & mashed potatoes, chicken pasta, etc.)in smaller sizes and fresh sushi. Be sure to download the Sam's NOW app and not the regular Sam's app before you go. You'll need the app in order to make purchases. No cashiers mean no lines so I'm always in and out with a quickness. They're very good at keeping inventory in stock, and it's never crowded so it's easy to get in and out of there. I love the concept of Sam's Club Now. My parents recently moved in to the area and I decided to pick up a few things here for my mom's birthday party after moving back home once the semester ended. Today was my first experience at a Sam's Club Now and it was a pleasant one. My parents told me what to expect before shopping here, but someone going in blind would also have an easy time getting the hang of everything. When I walked in an associate asked if it's my first time here. I said yes and he explained the concept, how to shop here, and how to check out. Easy enough. You scan the items you want to purchase with the Sam's app and then check out through the app as well. When you're leaving, the associate scans the QR code on your phone and that's it. Even on busy days I could probably go in and out without a hassle. Sam's Club Now is much smaller than a traditional Sam's Club, but it still has the majority of things people would need on the grocery side of things. It still has non food items, but those aren't as heavily focused on from what I can see nor do they carry many of those items compared to the food offerings. To me Sam's Club Now is kind of like a substantially more tech savvy amalgamation of a traditional Sam's Club and a Trader Joe's. My parents had a Sam's membership for years but we don't really shop there that often. This has completely changed because this is the closest grocery store to them and it's probably the primary reason they will renew their membership from now on. On lazy days when they don't want to cook, they would just walk over and grab some prepackaged meals. I also noticed that the workers here are much friendlier than any other Sam's Club I've ever been to around Dallas, New Jersey, and Long Island. The guy at the front looked like he was happy working there and kept engaging with customers who walked in/past by, the guy at the meat department said hi to me and asked if he could help with anything, and the lady at the exit was cheerful when she thanked me for shopping here after she scanned my QR code. I don't think this has ever happened before at any Sam's Club or at their Walmart locations. read more

I needed to replace my membership and thought Sam Club Now would be convenient considering me it's a smaller building. However they don't offer any type of member services at this location. Sams Club Now is a prototype store on Lower Greenville. You have to download the Sams Club Now app (different from the app you may use at your Sams Club location), but there's no checkout. Scan items as you put them in your bag, and then swipe right to pay when you're done. Show the employee your phone as you leave, and you're done. It's an interesting concept, but the store isn't a fully Sams Club - grocery only (produce, meat, frozen food, canned food, and shampoo/conditioner, etc.). It's a little bit small. The employees (of whom there were many) were very helpful and explained the concept to us and made sure we downloaded the right app when we walked in the door. This location is where Sam's is going to test out new ideas and apps, so check it out. read more

For example their 2 pack loaves of their excellent fresh French bread is almost double the price here vs regular Sams. I went here a couple of weeks ago. The greeters were really nice and told me what app and everything I needed to download and how it works. It is just a smaller version of Sams Club. More of a grab and go. Which I thought was great and I didn't have to deal with the masses at the large Sams club with kids running all over. It was easy to get in and out of. People complain that it still sells everything in bulk, yes they will. It is still Sams Club. Just a more condensed version. It is right down the block from where I live so I'll be back! read more

I love the fact that this entire store is basically self serve in and out. As long as you have the sams app and a membership, you scan the items you want and pay from your phone. I can shop the entire store, check out, and be in my car on the way out of the way out of the parking lot in the time in takes to just get through the traditional Sam's on NW Hwy. I have only one complaint...the store is WAY TOO COLD. Take it as a hint and wear a jacket or you may be very uncomfortable if you have a long list of items to get like I did today. This is a clean store that except for the temperature is a total delight to shop in. The quality of the meat and produce matches the taste and freshness of my favorite market. Give it a try. We were really excited about this but it turned out to be such a let down. Sam's club is what it is, the bad review isn't about the products here but rather the "attendants" who are servicing this location. The woman who greeted us was rude, and knew very little about the membership, technology, and corporate discounts which we have through our employers. When my husband and I brought up our corporate membership rate, the woman just shook her head and pointed us to the door. She wasn't helpful, and completely unable to assist in the sign up process. In a neighborhood like Lower Greenville where tons of mom and pop shops exist, a place like Sam's club is out of place. If you have an iPhone running IOS 10.3 or prior your shopping experience may be difficult. I've been here like 3-5 times and my iPhone acts weird when I check out using the app. Today the app told me the store owed me $3.00 after scanning 3 items. I'm not conditioned yet to scan every item with my smart phone to ring a rolling register. I find it annoying to break the phone out of my pocket every three feet. I could imagine people crashing carts into each other and dropping phones while face deep in their phones shopping. Fortunately the couple trips I went it was a ghost town, Strange for Dallas but lovely for shopping. Selections pretty good, but best for fresh food and Consumer packaged goods. I purchased a Groupon and was offered several different incentives plus a better membership rate. I chatted with Sam's today online (1.21.20) to ask why I hadn't received my $25 gift card that I was suppose to receive via US mail. They informed me I had to make a purchase online to get that offer. I made the purchase needed in a store. I asked if anything could be done. I was told NO! I think they could still give me the $25 gift card. I didn't know I had to make a online purchase. You really need to read the fine print on offers. They make it so dam difficult. I like this store. It is clean and the check out is much faster than going to Sam's. I just wish they had more of the Sam's products that are my staples. Community coffee and Pedigree canned dog food are missing from its shelves, among other things I regularly buy. If I have to go to the regular Sam's after, its not a helpful stop.
