I have been ordering products online for delivery to my home in Dahlonega Ga. Most of the items when you order call for next day delivery. I have never received an item the next day, usually it two to three days before I see them. When I order my NOS energy drinks, it can take up to a week to get them and has taken even longer. I thought that was supposed to be the point of the membership fee, to get Items delivered quickly? I don't feel like I am saving any my time at this point and just assume go to the local Wal-mart and get it when I want it. Not really worth the membership fee. If I could give this store negative stars I would. It would be -5 based on February 12th's experience. We needed to provide a document showing that we're tax exempt. We shopped then proceeded to the Customer Service counter so their system can scan it. We never received a printed copy, it's all electronic. After speaking with a "manager" Kim, confirmed that we needed a printed copy. We asked if we could email it & they print it for us. No. My business partner asked if we could email it to the Optical Center (she'd previously done this when visiting them). No bc not only did it need to be a printed copy, it needed to be an ORIGINAL copy. This seemed absolutely wrong because how can you verify it's an original copy? We asked to speak with someone else. She then called someone. We later found out this manager, Belinda, was at home. Confirmed an original copy. How do you know the difference between an original and printed? At this point Kim is very dismissive waiving us off. Telling us she wasn't going to go back & forth with us. Left the store without purchasing. Printed a copy. Called 3 other locations; they confirmed only required a printed copy. The website confirms to provide a COPY. Drive back to the store. Tell Aaliyah we talked to other locations & website confirms. She asked for my ID. Kim walks over still on the phone. Takes the form from Aaliyah and tells us it has to be an original copy. We try to tell her about the website and she can call the Buford location to confirm. She turns her back on us while on the phone Still requiring an original form. She talks over us, repeatedly. I tell her if she stops talking & actually listened for a minute, she would hear what we're saying. Throws her hands up, walks away. Says I told her to "shut up". Not my words; I clearly stated she needed to stop talking to listen. Not the same. I waited a bit then walked to see if I could find someone else to help. I see Kim & approached her to come a a resolution. She chose to walk off again. I walked with her & asked how to resolve. She then stated that I was harassing her, threatened to call the cops. I told her to call the cops & give the number. She made a smart remark. (BTW - I have recorded proof of this conversation.) I return to the counter. They send Karla over. They need an original copy. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE. Not only do they require the original form, it now needs to be notarized. First a PRINTED copy, then an ORIGINAL copy, now this girl tells us we need a NOTARIZED copy?? What exactly are they notarizing? It comes from the state of Georgia. What would a notary be notarizing, a signature that's not required on this form? This form has the name of our business, address, and date that the tax exempt started. KARLA was unhelpful and more dismissive than Kim. She didn't feel safe proceeding. Stating she wasn't going to keep going back-and-forth with us. We're simply giving you the information that's on your website, has been verified by other locations & you refuse to listen. Karla also told us we could drive to Buford since they confirmed it. Why would we drive 30 minutes out to do something because of the incompetence of you and your team members? Kim has returned with Belinda on the phone. Requested to see the same form. Tells Aaliyah to proceed. Karla is still at the other part of the counter blabbing her mouth. Kim tells her that Belinda called somebody else because she thought it needed to be notarized and they confirmed it did not. I told Kim she owed us an apology for being wrong about the store's policy & how she mistreated us. She says wasn't going to go back and forth with us. Our information being keyed in the computer is absolute proof that you were wrong. However, you owe an apology bc you were disrespectful, dismissive and rude. Customers are not always right, but when they are right AND you've been disrespectful to them, you need to admit it. She once again walked off again. Information keyed successfully. They returned our cart that we were had. (We later realized that they removed several items without letting us know.) We proceeded to the cashier. We clearly see Kim, Karla and another associate sitting on the furniture near the checkout lines. We know they're talking about us because they keep making eye contact and quickly looking away. Unprofessionalism at its finest. Learning opportunity and you all failed miserably. All but the exception of AALIYAH. She was very helpful, rational and respectful. The only one we spoke with who actually listened. She unfortunately was being ill-advised by her management team. Serious conversations & training need to be required for Kim and Karla. Customer service skills are severely lacking. They need to be taught how to communicate with customers appropriately. The level of disrespect displayed by the management team was asinine & unwarranted. read more

I had my tires rebalanced and rotated recently and was told that I had a nail in the tire that wasn't repairable. The sales rep tried to sell me a new tire and I told him it could wait. I took the car to Walmart next door and they put a plug into the tire and it was fixed. I drove the car on the freeway and the steering wheel shook at around 60 mph. I'm a backyard mechanic and knew that the tires were out of balance. I took the car to Mavis Tires and had them rebalanced at 25 dollars a tire. The tire tech told me that the wheels were definitley unbalanced and had to much weight added to the rims. The steering wheel no longer shakes after having the tires rebalanced at Mavis Tires. I am no longer going to buy tires from Sams Club anymore because of these two issues I had there with the tires being unbalanced and being told that the tire needed to replaced because the nail in the tire was unrepairable. read more

On December 5th, 2025, I paid $863.13 for 4 tires at the Sam's Club on Mundy Mills in Oakwood Ga. The tires came in on Tuesday the 9th and I made an appointment to have them installed for Friday the 12th. I went to the store on the 12th to have the tires installed and after they put my car on the lift and took off my original tires, they informed me that they had ordered the incorrect tires. Because one of my tires was plugged and the other 3 were worn, and because I was leaving town the next day driving 523 mile round trip, I began to panic. According to the person I was dealing with, there was nothing they could do but reorder the tires which would take 3 to 4 days. That was totally unacceptable since I was leaving the next day so I ask if they had anything that would fit my car and was told no. I then ask for a refund so I could go somewhere and find some tires to which I was told the charge was in pending status and had not been put on my card so once the order was cancelled it would wipe out the pending charge. Unfortunately, the guy didn't know what he was talking about because when I checked two days later for the refund I saw where the charge had been sent to my credit card on December 5th. It is January 7th and I still don't have a refund of the $863.13. I went to the store to speak with a Manager about this and and was told by Lisa (Tire Manager) that there was nothing they could do because the order had been cancelled. Lisa could see that the money had not be refunded in her computer but did not know how to get it refunded back to me since the order was cancelled. Lisa called my credit card company, Synchrony, and they told her (not me even though I was standing right there) that my husband had called on Dec 19th to register a dispute and that they told him it would be 60 days before they could do anything. It is totally unacceptable to have to wait 60 days to get $863.13 back. That money could have been in my account earning interest for 2 months. First of all Synchrony Bank should not have discussed my account with the Sam's Manager when I was standing right there. Secondly, Synchrony should be able to put the money back on my card when my husband called in the dispute. Thirdly, why can't Synchrony put the money back since they spoke to the Manager who told them they had made a mistake and that I was due the money. I am done with Sam's Mastercard and Synchrony. I will be cancelling the card just as soon as I get my $863.13 back. read more

We love Sam's Club. We shopped there for everything. Unfortunately the customer service is horrific. Constantly have problems in the self check out. Can never find anybody to help you. One day, monitor was telling me I needed assistance, so Amy comes over to help and laughs and tells me how."reading is fundamental." I asked her what that was supposed to mean and she shrugged it off, but obviously it was an insult. As I was discussing this with her, another gentleman walked up and said that she was rude to him as well. Don't work in customer service if you don't like to talk to people or deal with people. Amy has very short, dark hair and an attitude of my long. I want to find a manager to complain about her, but couldn't find one. I tried calling the store to complain about her. Couldn't get anybody on the phone. They obviously don't care. If it wasn't for the convenience, we wouldn't shop there at all. We already gave up on Walmart. read more

This Sam's club has it all. A gas station, eye doctor, pharmacy, tire shop and club cafe. They also have many hard to find items that you can't find at most other Sam's clubs. The associates are helpful and aren't hard to find if you need assistance with something. This club is located behind Wendy's and in the same complex with a absolutely HUGE Walmart (It's like a mini mall). It is conveniently located just off I-985 in Gainesville, Ga. read more

My daughter and I both being chased down the aisle (on two separate occasions) to purchase insurance. Why am I paying a membership fee to shop and Sam's club and be harassed by a pushy salesman? Sams and Walmart in Georgia are a huge disappointment. They are dirty and trashy. I've traveled a lot in recent years and these are the worse. Go to Arkansas or Missouri their standards are much higher for their stores. It's a different world. I've never been in a dirty Costco in any state. What's the problem Walmart? read more

Five Stars +++ for the Tire and Battery Center at this Sams!! I had a nail in my tire that was set into the rubber pretty deep and the head of the nail was barely visible!! They told me to bring it right over and let them know when I arrived! They worked so hard to get the nail out that at one point two of the technicians had to work on the nail together. They we so determined to pull it out and repair the tire, and they did! I am truly grateful for the efforts of these automotive professionals!! I he didn't an amazing job and when I waited for the repair ticket to go inside and pay, they told me there is no charge for removing the nail and patching/plugging my tire!! I have shopped this store for years. This store is becoming worse and worse. More like a Walmart... in which I'll never shop due to poor quality and lethargic or condensing customer service. Ordered wings for delivery. During ordering it offered delivery by 4:00. Awesome! So, I ordered delivery. Immediately after ordering it says delivery between 4:00-6:00. I thought that would be okay. Do not go to Sam's Club for your tire replacement. Bought 4 Micheline tires for my truck 2.5 months ago with extended warranty. I messed one up on a road hazard. Came back to the Buford location, someone said tire will come in 2-5 days. keep calling in to check on the tire and it's been almost three months now. Came back in and someone told me to go to Oakwood location, and they will replace it. Came in Oakwood location and they said they will replace it with a different tire different brand and will rolling at a different rpm and cheaper, that means the other threes will wearing out uneven or something like that. Now they want me to wait 3-5 days again until this tire come in. Someone in another location said if they can't replace it with the same tire they will have to replace all 4 tires. And the most mess up thing is the tire is available (they said out of stock). The store manager said if I want to replace all four, I can pay for three tire and the will void the 20$ installations fee. So I have to pay another $900-$1000 to have it replace correctly after spending $1200 worth of tire and it's last three months. Sam's Club have the best warranty for $20, seriously??? read more

This place definitely is one of two locations where I love to get my car washed. I really like the wash here since it is very thorough (and cheap too!) The only con about this place is the lack of vacuums, but I can easily do that at home so not a major deal. The important is that my whole car is clean and dry when I leave this place. The gas here is slightly cheaper than the other gas stations. There are times that it's $0.02 to $0.05 to even $0.08+ of a difference. The majority of the time it's usually in the low difference range since this location is exactly in the middle of a QT on one end of the street and RaceTrac on the other. I do not shop in the Sam's itself so I can't be of any help here, but I can remember the place being pretty clean and organized when I have ventured inside it a few times. Oh, it is also located right next to a Walmart if that makes any consolation to anyone. read more

ENVY!! This store is light-years ahead of the stores I frequent (Alpharetta and Duluth). There was some great planning that went into designing this store. I really love the location of the gas pumps because they are front and center as soon as you enter the property so you can't miss them. The ones in Alpharetta are located across the street and out of view of the Sam's so they are not convenient and can be easily missed. They do not even offer gas services at the Duluth location. The Oakwood location has a nice pick up area which is located off to the side of the store out of the way of customers and cars. Very smart! I noticed at least four self-serve registers as we prepared to check out, two of them were standard and the other two were for ten items or less. We were able to check out quickly and hassle free. I noticed a sticker on the door advertising their new Scan and Go app which allows you to skip the line. This is genius and sorely needed since the primary complaint about Sam's seems to be related to long lines and having to wait. I really need to have the Alpharetta store to get on board with some of these changes because they are great and make life so much easier. ***This store is always a great place to stock up on Halloween candy and to get all of your party favorites. For holidays, this is a necessary stop and Halloween is no exception. They have a great selection of candy and they still have nice options for kid's costumes. Also, this was a great day for holiday samples. The fall treats are rolling out so make sure that you visit on the weekends so that you can take advantage of free samples and special promotions. I've been a member for years and am constantly frustrated because they discontinue items that are of interest to me. I wrote a complaint a few years ago about a bunch of items that they dropped. Now, two weeks ago we found that they dropped the brownies that we always bought ( I mean, every time that we went in!) and we even asked an employee just to make sure. this time it is cans of Planter's nuts--PLANTER'S!!! I have called sams several times this past week trying to talk to the vision center. They never answer the phone,do they have a phone in the vision center? I call back and they tell me there are employees in the vision center but the same thing happens no answer. They connect me to the vision center again but no answer. I guess they don't need the business in the vision center. I will go somewhere else for my exam and frames. Please hire some one that can answer the phone.
