I was in the area and needed to do a return and get some gas. There was quite a long line for returns for mid-week, mid-afternoon, but it moved fairly quick especially since there was 2 clerks working the customer service desk. I sometimes like to stop in to a Sam's location that is not my usual store just to see if they have anything new and different. I was in and out fairly quickly after making my return. The gas lines were a couple deep and that moved along depending upon how quickly the car in front of me was able to complete their transaction. I LOVE the fresh squeezed OJ! It's so addicting that I can't go back to the store bought that now tastes like it has so many preservatives in it. read more

My regular visits to this Sam's Club gas station have been a staple in my routine since 2018, primarily due to their consistently competitive prices. On this particular occasion, the usual hustle and bustle were apparent, with multiple lines forming as customers patiently awaited their turn. While the crowded atmosphere wasn't a deterrent, the frustration arose when I observed cars that had been waiting for 15-20 minutes driving off without getting gas. Upon reaching the pump, I discovered a small piece of paper indicating an abrupt change - payments were now exclusive to the Sam's Club app. Attempting to adapt swiftly, I encountered challenges due to a weak cell signal, and it felt unfair to hold up the line while I tried to download the app. What compounded my irritation was the absence of a prominent sign providing advance notice about the new payment method. A discreet piece of paper on the pump served as the only indication, leading to an inconvenient and time-wasting experience. I got gas elsewhere. They need larger signs! read more

So disappointed with Sam's Club after waiting about 3+ months for cafe and construction to be completed it's a big flop in my opinion! I waited in line to be my own checker for my overpriced groceries and then stood in line to order a pizza at the cafe only to be told I had to go back to the checkout line, wait and ask for someone to ring up a pizza. I was then told to go back in line at cafe to wait 10 more minutes only to find out my order wasn't processed. I showed my receipt to the rude guy in the cafe and he said he had no record but I could wait for him to try to process. Again, I showed him my receipt for a large pepperoni and he acted like I was speaking a foreign language. 15 minutes later I finally got my pizza. This is a FIASCO Sam's Club management! Get it together. At the very least have a kiosk AT THE CAFE for customers to order pay and get the their food at the CAFE. WHO's brain storm was this new process. I'll avoid this Sam's as much as possible. HORRIBLE WASTE OF MY TIME!!! Do better PS. This store's renovations are not customer friendly. Your greeters are "gestapo" like snd then to exit your treated like you're a criminal. I'm a senior white woman and I was treated awful. I can't imagine how people that aren't Caucasian are treated. A lot of previous reviews have hit it spot on. This location is consistently out of stock on key staples and items that should have no business being out of stock. The gas station needs to be monitored better. I see cars going against the arrow and flow of traffic more often than not. It's especially frustrating when I'm following the rules and etiquette only to see some "Karen" do anything but and get in and out in a jiffy. The staff could have better knowledge of their own store too. I've asked several questions to various staff and get several different and wrong answers. Do better folks. The Food Court is understaffed when it counts and overstaffed when it doesn't. Need to manage and schedule better. read more

Manager was not helpful and didn't even know the exchange policy. I literally had to school her on what the policy is. I ended up getting helped by another manager who exchanged my item without any issues. Please train your managers properly because it's pathetic that I know your policies and she doesn't! read more

One star because your greeter has a problem explaining why each person has to show a card or bar code just to enter the store here. He was not pleasant s when I asked why he was grumpy and said, "company policy." I get the company policy bit, but you are the first face I see in this store and you need to be a lot more friendly. read more

Sam's club is super consistent. They are always well stocked, adequately staffed, friendly, and not as busy as Costco. Though they have different items than Costco, I like the variety between the two. And Sam's club Pizza might be a little bit better. All in all a great place to shop! read more

One thing about covid-19 is that it is really separating the well run operations from the not so we'll run operations. Even Within the same chains you are beginning to see how well-run one location is over another in a lot more clear format. This particular Sam's I'll be at 1 that I do not usually frequent is a fantastic location. There are and have been enormous crowds at the Sam's locations throughout the DFW area during the covid-19 pandemic. For whatever reason people have lost faith in the supply chain and are hoarding items like never before. And it's beginning people seem to almost be frantic when these place is open their doors. This Sam's as have the others that I have been to recently seem to have it all under control and are doing a great job helping people keep their social distant and helping people to keep the frenzy and out of control that happens in some places under control. read more

hms puts out expired food because of management. they bring in old food and change the sticker so the date is different because of the manager who runs the department. they don't know how to manage the cafe when it's busy. read more

I've been a Sams club member for 20+ years. I've visited different locations (in Texas) and I've found that they don't all carry the same items even within the same metroplex which means if you're looking for something specifically you'll have to go to the location you've purchased it at before. The variety of items is pretty good, just like most places the prices creep up year after year. The one thing that disappoints me about this location is the items on the shelf are always close to expiration date, within a few days. Staff is hit or miss, but I go in get what I need and go. The cafe area is great, ready to eat pizza which is super yummy, and a Nathan hot dog with a drink is only $1.50. read more

For the third time in the last eight months someone at Sam's has skimmed my Visa credit card and tried to use it charging items online - the THIRD TIME. Fortunately, Chase has caught the charges and refused to allow them. You need to be extra careful charging things at Sam's, both at the gas pumps and inside the store. This is the worse Sam's Club! Management stinks. Today I ran into a problem and asked to speak to the manager. Told to wait for Doris 'the only manager on site' who was checking out customers while other cashiers were lottering and shooting the breeze. Doris continued to check out customers instead of calling one of the other cashiers to continue her checkout and handling the problem. The self check out helper was rude and arrogant to me. They have a stupid policy about limits now and as a member you have to keep track of the quantities you buy because their promotions run for long periods so you do not always get the price that is being advertised. And I ran itnto that problem today. Some stores to do a customer accomodation adjustment if you forget. This store treats you like you were trying to steal something. Sam's club has become like every other store with pricing, a lot of times now even higher than the local grocery stores losing any advantage of paying for premium membership. Also, today I was waiting on some bread and had to ask the bakery staffer to please throw away the bread that touched her arm, especically since she seem to have a rash on her arm. SINGLE WORST order online, (fail to) pickup in store experience! Pickup took 45 minutes only to find they filled the WRONG product and didn't have the correct one in stock. Adding insult to injury, the car delivery person argued with me telling me I either MUST take the wrong product or come into the store to return it! This Sam's Club CLUB is closer than it seems compared to my regular Sam's Club. I respect and admire all races! But this a newer store and I favor the like the clientele more. More Aryan and WASP like me. Gosh where to start! The club has the newly revised layout. Less of the aisles all in the same direction. In stock everything with the eye candy like TV's and electronics as you walk in. A far more manageable food section. Item's are placed at high and low levels. Clean. Immaculately clean with no disinfectant smells. This includes the mens/womens room (I asked) Friendly staff plus and app to help you find your way around. Free WiFi! The lines move faster. Closer in parking! Honestly - they built to much parking. But if Walmart Heiress and hyper-billionaire, Alice Walton decides to fly in on one of her many Bell Jet Helicopters, she will have ample room for her pilots to land. Plus her security team. The store is quieter. Even in high traffic areas's you can carry on a conversation. Good cigarette section with GREAT prices and a HANDSOME sales associate running the desk. The gas station carries the GOOD gasoline and is priced about twenty cents less than any competition. Highly recommended. read more

The people at this Sam's Club are sooo nice and so polite. Like seriously! I don't know if there's something in the water, bu EVERYBODY that I encountered was like, "Yes sir. No sir", or "How are you doing, sir?" or "Are you doing fine, sir?" I was just like... whoa! I must have fallen in the twilight zone. I've experienced nothing like this at any Sam's Club in Houston. Or even at Costco!!! Impressive. Not really a whole lot I can say about this Sam's Club. If you've been to one club, then you've been to all clubs. It was organized, they had the stuff I wanted and then some. If you work out, you should try the MuscleTech supplements products that are customized for Sam's club. They are essentially regular MuscleTech products that are sold commercially at your local nutrition store or online but A LOT cheaper. The hot dog offered at Sam's Club is like the one at Costco. For $1.50 you get a hot dog and a drink. However, I do believe that the Pizza at Costco is better though. This is a nice Sam's to go to. Definitely nicer than the one I go to in Houston. read more

We purchased a pair of glasses in the optical shop of Sams in McKinney and the nose piece fell off after close to a year of wearing. We were close to the Sam's in Plano East and called them and asked if we could come to their store to have them fixed? Happily the optics department said they would be happy to help us. The assistant manager at this location was liar. I lost my receipt and came in line to get help from one of the girl at costumer service. And then there was an girl came with one of merchandise and she talked to assistant manager for while and i and one of employee at costumer service waiting for her. The assistant manager(Veronica) turned to me and said i am sorry, i don't think can not find your receipt, maybe it take long time to find your receipt. You may have to wait long time. And she left, i went to trash can to find my receipt but couldn't find it. This club is ALWAYS out of stock on the most important items. I went in at 4pm on a Monday and they were completely out of bottled water, not a single brand had a case available, the aisle was EMPTY - the primary reason I go to Sam's is for bottled water and toilet paper so I was not happy. Not to mention this is the first week of school! So many people were in there trying to stock up on groceries and they were out of stock on a ton of key items. I work for a massive DSD food company that actually services Sam's Club and I know if our product was completely empty they would be harassing corporate nonstop until they were serviced so the fact that they didn't have any water is honestly unacceptable. This isn't the first time they've been completely out either. It was also lovely to see the couple in the parking lot when I pulled up that had 10 cases of water on their cart, maybe next time if you know you don't have anymore of an item put those "Limit 2" signs up so other customers can grab a little of what we need as well, instead of 1 or 2 people hoarding it all. Very poorly managed. After shopping at this club for nearly 2 years, I've honestly had it and will not be renewing my membership with this company. There is a Costco down the street that we will shop with in the future. Just the fact that their gas is usually 20cents cheaper per gallon than the next place pays for the annual membership. They also have a great return policy. read more
