They have new hours for Covid19 and have been on board with the mask-wearing and self protection. The drive thru is still open and I have never had an issue waiting in line for very long. The employees are kind and helpful. They also make sure that you understand your medication pretty well by asking if you are set to go. I have called in multiple prescriptions before and have not had any issues with them making any mistakes or taking more time than the estimated amount that they quoted over the phone. read more

This is by far the worst run pharmacy. They are totally mismanaged and unresponsive. There is absolutely no accountability or patient care. Recently we had prescriptions called from the hospital's doctor they were unable to fill them and no offer of help. When they closed the CVS store on independence they should have closed this one as well. Walgrens at Old Shepard Place or Market Street are good choices. read more

I came here on a Friday night, after my dad was released from the hospital. I need it to fill up his prescription and all three employees were extremely helpful, nice, patient. They filled his prescription fairly fast, even though they had people constantly come up through the drive-through asking medical questions, complaining about the cost of the medicine, asking to use coupons that did not apply to their prescription. They gave everybody great service, never complained about the customers' irrationality. I know this CVS has bad reviews and I hadn't been here for a while but today, I received wonderful service!! This location has the absolute worst pharmacy service. I consistently have to wait hours for prescriptions that are called in by my doctor and sometimes even 12+hours. They also don't answer their phone and can leave you on hold for 30+ minutes. They always say they are backed up no matter what time of year. They have changed staff so often and every time it just gets worse. I only go here due to insurance, but I think it's time to find another pharmacy. read more

This Pharmacy has the worst customer service and their system apparently isn't up to date. I've had multiple prescriptions electronically sent to them and was told they didn't get them. After having my doctor resend them, I will get text messages that say I now have 2 of the same prescription. Don't even bother calling, they will likely not answer and leave you on hold for 20+ min OR you will get an extremely rude pharm tech that will tell you that they are backlogged and you don't need to call if you are setup to receive text messages. I use this pharmacy because it is closest to my house. If I do end up getting my prescription tomorrow, it will be the last time I use this pharmacy and store. read more

As I was waiting for my flu shot I heard the technician telling the pharmacist "they always complain about having to call-in for a refill, anyone with (didn't recognize any of the meds except ambien) always gives me such an attitude, and you know what? I give it right back to them" Wow, that's great service, give it right back to them, that's a good solution...?!?! This comment made me get up and say "I'll get my flu shot elsewhere, somewhere where they don't bad mouth their customers". And to add insult to injury, I spent time setting up my flu shot appointment online just to come in and have them say "we don't see you in our system". I showed them my phone where the confirmation was and they had me re-do the paperwork anyway (fine, whatever). My doctor accidentally sent meds to the wrong cvs and they and redirect it due to controlled substance. Ugh. NIGHTMARE. Called twice and waiting for FORTY MINUTES just to confirm if they are processing the prescription or not and no one is picking up the phone. read more

DON'T BOTHER MAKING A VACCINE APPOINTMENT HERE! Made an appointment for myself and my boyfriend to get the Covid 19 booster. Went in early to check in cause I am needle averse and knew I didn't wanna do this more than once, got in line, watched 6 people get vaccines... and then watched the pharmacist walk out of the vaccine station (note we were the only ones left in line), and vocalize his distaste for doing this "am I the only one here today?!" Then proceeded to look at us go back into the pharmacy and fill prescriptions, return calls, joke around with another tech and NEVER SAID A THING. So when I went to the pharmacy 25 minutes after my vaccine appointment to ask if I should reschedule the tech was nice enough to ask if we checked in then we are good and then they need to verbally tell him we are there. I mentioned I knew he saw us and I just wanted to check since he seems to be doing prescriptions now and has said nothing. Same tech returned 5 minutes later and said their vaccine tech quit, and the pharmacist has said he essentially has other things to do and we could wait "it will be a while. I'm honestly sure not how long" or we could reschedule. Glad I stood there for 40 minutes for literally nothing, and confirm his time is clearly far more important than anyone else's. Maybe just come out of your vaccine pod and say "hi I'm above this. I don't give a shit if you are upset... glad I wasted your time cause I'm Mr. Pharmacist and a very very big deal" maybe start with brushing your hair buddy... what a joke. read more

On a Saturday evening (not close to closing); I walked up to the Pharmacy area and did not approach the counter until they were ready to help me. The two women behind the counter were talking (not about work), looked right at me and continued to discuss whatever drama was going on in their lives. Finally, one acknowledged me and was quite rude as if I had interrupted an important conversation. I requested a behind the counter product, the generic version which I saw her put her hand right on it so I knew she understood my preference. When she rang it up It was pricier than normal but I just assumed they had increased the price. At no point in time was I ever rude or disrespectful. Later I realized I had been given the more expensive name brand version which I'm pretty sure was on purpose. I should have checked it but I knew my preference had been clearly conveyed, just not followed. Won't be going in this CVS ever again not even to shop in the store. read more

Normally I'm fairly neutral about this pharmacy. I like to use the drive thru because it's faster so it was out of my routine to go in the store especially with my son since then I'm bombarded with requests for toys or candy. Once at the counter I was greeted by a gentleman named Robert and while he was ringing up my sale he looked at what I was picking up and checked to see if they could apply a manufacturers coupon on it - saved me thirty dollars on it, it took a few extra minutes but for thoughtful customer service and actually having someone look over what you're getting and help make it more affordable well worth it! read more

I think the overall customer service (once you go into the store) is ok but the call-in system for checking prescriptions, products, etc. is a nightmare to navigate. You are forced to go through a number of 'commercials' before you can get your question answered. Does CVS actually believe customers want to be put through all of this? Our family has been using this pharmacy since we moved to Plano but within the last 6 months we have been disappointed. They now close quite early. If you are told that your prescription has been released by CVS Pharmacy and you can get it filled at another CVS Pharmacy of your choice, like a 24 hour one, NOT TRUE. "Some" prescriptions, I was told, need additional release. So they see the prescription from the doctor in the system BUT will not fill it until they talk to the original CVS.... the same company!? If your confused so was I and when your in pain, sick, have waited to see a doctor, paid a lot of money to see a doctor etc. you do not want to hear this from a pharmacy! read more

This is an older rundown CVS. They seem to always be short staffed. The pharmacy is no longer 24 hours so the waits to get prescription filled is slowly becoming longer and longer. They have a great pharmacist but they always seem to have too much going on for quick questions. If it wasn't so close to my house, I would probably switch. read more

Over the last few years I have placed a number of orders from the CVS photo center to be picked up at this local store (on 2200 Coit Road, Plano TX 75093) and on a number of recent occasions, the order has gotten lost. On two occasions the order had to be re-issued because the people from the store could not locate it. This happens mostly when I have a project made by you and shipped to the store. But it also happens when I order photo prints which are made right there in the store: I show up at the store to pick up my order, show them the email stating it is supposed to be ready, and the store employees cannot find it. Every time I waste about 10-15 minutes watching them go through every box and envelope, bringing the store manager in, calling people on the phone, etc. I have lost patience. This is incredibly bad service. The rest of the store is fine but please run away from the photo center! read more

Let me start by saying, CVS is the only place I can fill my sons prescriptions or I would take my business elsewhere. Every time I fill a prescription at this location, I get the runaround & it ends up taking days to get the medicine. This time was no different! I dropped off a written prescription on Monday that they somehow misplaced, I called Tuesday to check on it & to see if there were any insurance issues, had to call the doctors office, they refaxed the order, CVS did not notify me that there was an insurance issue (which I had called to check on & told no issue they could fill it), called back Wednesday morning to be told insurance problems & the doctors office needed to be contacted, contacted office & waited 4.5hrs never heard from CVS, called back & they had the order but hadn't filled it....this medication is so my son can breathe!
