Stopped by Sam's in Riverside to get gas today. It was $5.49 a gallon. That's about 20 cents more than the one in San Bernardino and 30 cents more than Ontario. Nevertheless, the gas is still cheaper than most local gas stations regardless of using cash or card. On this visit I did notice a flaw in the design of the gas station. When the trucks are there to refuel the station it makes it very difficult for customer to utilize all the pumps and causes for a much long line. The fuel truck actually blocks all the center lanes and makes it a huge inconvenience for customer. Hopefully if they ever do a major remodel they remember that and redesign the pumps or refill tank. read more

Recently gave Sam's Club a try since Costco was really testing my patience. You know what I mean! I'm glad I decided to and I couldn't be happier with my Sam's Club experience so far. This location is pretty good. There is always plenty of parking and the crowds are much less packed than Costco. The big difference maker is the scan and go function and app. It's awesome not having to wait in a long line to buy your items AND exit the store. For the most part selection is pretty consistent. The store is always clean and well staffed. Only gripe is that I wish the food court was arranged a little bit better as there is usually a bottleneck there. Also it still gets crowded on the weekends around lunch time. Overall I enjoy shopping here and it gives me great essential items at an awesome price. read more

GREAT FOOD & HOME ITEMS! The quality of the food at this location is 100% spectacular. We tried their pasta and kale salad and we are now HOOKED, it was one of the best salads I've ever had, it had perfect dressing and toppings! The artisan pizzas weren't bad, not as good as the pizza found at the cafe, but tasty nonetheless. An artisan Margherita pizza from the freezer section was $10 for each. The best deals at this Sam's were for the hand soap refill jugs, eye glass cleaner, and shampoo. We bought a double pack of a sizable set of hand soap refill jugs for only $7. I spend over $10 for just one jug on Amazon, I'm buying my soap products here for now on! Compared to the Murrieta Sam's Club, this store has much better selection for Men's clothing. It's still lacking, and they need more sizes, however, I did manage to find excellent Levi-Strauss jackets and got a cool Rolling Stones tee. Classic rock shirts are only $10 here! The cafe was absolutely wonderful at this location, the guy at the register was a cinnamon roll and very kind. I found the cafe staff to be an excellent team and they rolled out orders quickly for a large crowd. There's plenty of seating in front of the cafe, but we opted to eat in the car as the tables were nasty. We ordered two pizza/drink combos and an Icee, all for a little over $6 bucks! I've been a member for about 6 years and my favorite thing about Sam's club is the scan n go feature. A couple years ago whenever it was introduced, an employee told me about how to use it on the app and I have used it ever since. I try to go in the morning before it gets crowded and I rarely encounter out of stock items on my list. Since I usually shop with my son I am so grateful for the ability to scan what I buy with my phone, pay on my phone and walk out. The employees here are friendly and hard workers. I recommend Sam's plus membership to all. The only thing that could be better would be carrying more healthy food options. read more

I'm writing this review strictly on the quality of their ready to serve apple pies...for this last week someone in their bakery is messing up on the amount of baking time for their apple pies...we have had to put their pies back in the oven at home for at least 45 minutes because the dough isn't baked thoroughly...my husband went back to Sam's to complain about the quality of the pies...other customers there said they were having to put their pies in the oven to rebake them...my husband asked if they were having problems with their ovens...I wouldn't buy their pies after this but their pies are one of the few foods my husband can eat without upsetting his stomach...he has Stage IV metastatic liver cancer and due to severe nausea and lack of appetite...their pies are one of the few foods he can tolerate. This is a large warehouse with lots of offerings, including a pharmacy, eye care, tire service, deli, bakery and more. Their app offers a scan and go option that lets you scan each item as you put things in your cart and then pay for them with your attached credit card. A QR code shows you paid and then you can skip the lines to exit. Member services is pretty slow. 2 customers ahead of me and 3 representatives at the station. It took more than 15 minutes. Disappointing. Crowded aisle ways that need better spacing for 2 carts. Overall a good store. read more

I ordered an online order from this location. Later that day I got an email about it being delivered but that was weird because zero delivery since I was home AND not a single soul on my property on my cameras. Well then about 15 minutes later a man in a white pickup truck gets out with only half my order and deliveries it. Gave him benefit of the doubt maybe he'll come back later with the other half since his truck was chaos he even had stuff in the bed of it. It's like they now hired door dash drivers because he was in a personal pickup. Well here it is a day later and no delivery of my other half. Sam's Club email still says it was delivered. So they now have contracted with thieves to work for them. What a shame. I will not be ordering again from them. It actually made me debate on not renewing my business membership when it's up next month. read more

We came in to buy a few Mother's Day gifts this isn't my experience but it's what I saw., Poor lady felt humiliated by one of your managers we noticed they was arguing 3 ladies vs a lady with her son over a phone the lady said she lost it not stolen and she said it several times, she said the only reason she asked them because they were around and someone told her to ask them if they turned a cell phone in they were being mean and saying we never stole it! Lady with the kid says I never said that I'm asking if you guys turned a phone in or if she saw anything! Manager comes over shushes the lady while being attacked by these ladies, 2 of them walk off and few minutes later while she's reporting her cell phone to T-Mobile the manager says if this your phone with a smug look! How sad that she's the one buying groceries and being attacked and she walked off she did ask him why he was being so mean to her I couldn't hear what he responded but her and the other 2 employees talked among themselves... I went to pick up my daughter's order for her work and all I had was the screenshot of where I was parked. She asked to see my ID and I told her I have my ID but it's my daughter's order for her work. When I was getting my ID out I turned to give it to her and she was walking back inside! I talked to another guy and he checked for me. The lead supervisor came out and said she canceled my order. I had my daughter in the phone and told them there was no place to add a pick up person and she kept saying the order was canceled and she would have to go inside and pay for it to be reordered. Not good customer service AT ALL! I would give zero stars to the 2 employees who made this experience horrible! read more

I usually enjoy my visits at Sam's club and usually end up spending more than expected. Today I was sooo beyond disappointed at how their manager Alexa treated an employee who was having a hard time with the scanner at the exit. She came over to "help" but she was so disrespectful to Teresa that was doing the check out. It was totally not her fault that the scanner kept jamming and she was so nice and kept apologizing. Sam's you really need to do some training with your management team with their internal customer service. Alexa was so rude at how she told Teresa to MOVE and get out of the way with such arrogance. You don't belittle the people before you. She spoke to her in such a horrible tone in front of all the customers in line. It made me feel so uncomfortable as a bystander. Love the price of bulk items and the sales they have weekly. I don't like I can't pay ebt on line like inside the store. The last home order I made was 2 milks and 2 bunches of bananas,they sent me 3 each.The milk comes back from almost frozen to curdled and separated.. It smells good but looks like cottage cheese,the last jug spoiled before I opened it. Just bought milk again on 11/14 25,opened it today 11/19/25 and it looks like cottage cheese. OMG! I am so blessed to have caught the $20, a year membership out of WALMART. They were open July 4. I desperately needed a birthday cake that did not cost an arm and a leg and I was able to purchase a beautiful 3 letches cake. Sam's Club was able to personalize by piping on the requested name. I recently moved to this area and was shocked by how bad the Sam's Club pick-up process is here. I've come three times, and each time I've had to wait over 15 minutes just to get a parking space for pick-up--then another 20-40 minutes for my groceries to arrive. I renewed my membership because the pick-up service at my previous Sam's Club location was excellent. Unfortunately, this location has been consistently awful. This is my fourth visit, and the experience has not improved at all. I should have just stayed with Costco, where the service is much faster and more organized. I've even called customer service to let them know about the issue, but nothing has changed. If you value your time, I would think twice before using pick-up at this location. read more

I ordered a raptor cake for my sons birthday specifically because he loves dinos. Never were we informed that they did not have it they didn't call us or anything. My husband went to pick up the cake and asked about it while I'm on the phone with him and all I hear is oh we don't have it no apology no partial refund NOTHING why didn't you call us beforehand? The cake looks so plain without it? Here I am at home looking for any dino toy to add to the cake. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I'm a long time Costco girl and I occasionally see something at Sam's Club and wish I had a card to get it. I recently say a deal for a membership for $25. So I got one for me and my sister. This was my first visit and the first thing I noticed was all of the options for many items. Costco will offer you a few variations. But Sam's certainly had more. Plus there were some items that could be purchased in smaller quanties which is always nice when you have a smaller family or gathering. Their prepared foods (deli and bakery) also offer more variety. There's more than one kind of salad, mixed desserts with options within the same package. I definitely felt like I had choices. I haven't had a chance to use conveniences like checking out through the app. I had one woman even tell me I could order items from the restaurant through the app nice! The quality of the items did seem a little less than Costco. So I'll have to check into that more. Overall this store was nice, clean, well stocked, and the staff was nice as well. read more

The bakery workers at this location are extremely unhelpful. My aunt who is older in age was trying to order a Cake for her vowel renewal, she is in her 60's and is not to up to date on using phones. The workers refused to take her cake order in person and in turn she was unable to place it because she did not know how to use the app. I understand that many services are online but it is completely unacceptable to expect older customers to only use online apps for service. Today I had an order pick up from this Sam's Club with a pick up window of 12-1pm. I arrived at 12:45 with my app still saying my order is not ready. By 12:56pm my order was still in the processing stage which really was bothersome because I was on my lunch break. I stopped a worker I saw near the order pick up parking and a petite woman with blonde hair informed me that my order was being picked at that moment and should be ready soon. At 12:58pm my order was ready. A few minutes later the same woman came back to bring me my order she was kind and helpful and had me on my way back to work within minutes. While I know Sams club is a very busy store it would really be beneficial if they would have their orders ready on time and not 2 minutes before the end of a pick up window. read more
