However, there's usually a homeless person sitting outside or walking past yelling something or inside the store and the employee asks him/her to move their parked bicycle. Customer Service: Ok. I've been here many times. There's a very nice employee, forgot her name. The others? Ok but not as friendly compared to my fave drugstore (R.A.) down a couple blocks. Prices: 4 stars. You can clip digital coupons in the app, combine with their sales prices, and get some good deals. Otherwise, I'd say a little pricier than other stores. I had a prescription refilled and they gave me the wrong refill. Now I'm running out and they keep telling me they can't refill cause insurance says it's too early. Every time I call them they put me on hold . The last time I talked to them they were really smart mouth. It's my blood pressure medicine. Even the Insurance says it's Walgreens fault cause they messed up but they can't approve it cause it's to early even though it wasn't a full prescription. Walgreens gas gave me problems other times also. No I can't change pharmacy's cause this is the one closest to me. Other people have complain about the same thing. Just a heads up. read more

I know no one is going to care at all. Mgmt was useless. I am a grown man so I understand it sometimes things happen. I also know that waiting two or three minutes feels like waiting eternities. Your store was a joke for these reasons. Waiting to wait three minutes is not a big deal having zero acknowledgment from staff that you are waiting because they're in confident is unreal. They finally call for Help and the woman who took me up and rang up my two drinks take care. She did actually care. The girl who was on the register that I was originally standing at was let's say not the sharpest tool in the shed. If you're in a hurry or even if you would like to get done at a normal pace don't go here. UNLESS the older blonde woman helps you! Then you will be ok. I called in a prescription yesterday and was told it would be ready after 8:00 this morning. I went to pick it up at 1:00 and waited for close to 1/2 hour in their drive through. When I finally reached the window, I was told it was not done yet and to drive around the building and get back in line. I did so and after another 20 minutes I made it to the window only to be told they only had 5 potassium pills out of the prescription for 90. I made an appointment for a vaccination. Came in 10 minutes early. Checked in a second time and waited 30 minutes. Went back up to the desk and they checked me in again and I told them I had been waiting 30 minutes already. When I was finally called back the lady giving the shot seemed angry. Possibly at me for saying I was waiting, I don't know. Acted angry the whole time until she said I could leave - when I stood up some of my things fell off of my lap and she laughed at me. I came in for a vaccine that had made an appointment for the day before. Tell me why they even let me make the appointment when they don't even have the vaccine with them? Such a waste of time. The pharmacist there tried to be helpful in which she gave me the number of another walgreens to try to call and ask if they have the vaccine or not. I was like oh.. do I have to make another appointment? She's like you made an appointment? lol that's what I started off with saying.. Anyway the other pharmacist tech chimed in and said I think you're the one that called yesterday, I said we don't have it. (She sounded very annoyed that I was there because she was under the impression I was the same caller.. I DID NOT CALL BC I MADE THE APPOINTMENT ONLINE). After a not so common medication called Dronabinol became unavailable at pharmacies in OC, I started calling pharmacies inland. This is a controlled substance I have been taking for close to 5-6yrs to help with extreme nerve pain and nausea due to the rare neurological condition I have called CIDP. I lived in TX for many years and have kept my doctors there who I see in person once a year. Tell me why after being on this medication for many years with zero issues ever trying to fill it, I'm accosted by the Asian female pharmacist saying she needs visit notes and stuff from my doctor proving why I need my medication. That is a violation of HIPA for one, and two, she is able to see the complete history of me having this medication prescribed by the same doctor every single time, filled at a Walgreens whether in TX or CA every single time, can see my dose has not gone up over the course of me taking this medication, and can easily see no Dr shopping or abuse is taking place... i am not able to provide current visit notes since I only see my Dr once a year so even if I wanted to cow to this pharmacists demands, I can't. I am truly disgusted by this behavior from the pharmacist and being made to feel like I'm some drug seeker when I am not. ABSOLUTELY deplorable behavior on behalf of Walgreens to deny me my medication. I pay a lot of $ to keep my specialists in TX as well as one in NY. This pharmacist is out of line thinking she can question my doctor's routine prescription to help manage my chronic pain. I'm sorry I'm 28 needing a controlled substance regularly, but yall can take that one up with Pfizer as their HPV vaccine gave me guillan barre syndrome at 18 and then it became chronic(CIDP) due to going undiagnosed for several years. This pharmacy is life threateningly bad. I had a prescription for my continuous glucose monitor that was supposed to be transferred from them to CVS. For a week CVS tried to reach them, with zero response. When CVS tried to call them after I called to find out what was taking so long, they just hung up in their face at least twice, refusing to answer. When I called Walgreens myself I was told yep, they sure did do that and when questioned as to why they would not just inform CVS or me of this simple problem I was told "I don't know." As a result of this I very nearly did not get my prescription in time. I was able to make an emergency call to my doctor to get it filled on that same day, but had my doctor not been available I would have been without my continuous glucose monitor entirely, which is literally life threatening for me as a Type I brittle diabetic. The staff is not knowledgeable AT ALL, they are curt and inconsiderate at best, lethargic and negligent at worst. I cannot stress this enough, do not go here. read more

I experienced a myriad of issues trying to get a prescription filled at a different Walgreens, and had it transferred to this location; I called and explained the very lengthy account of my problems to Jenny in the Pharmacy, and she calmly listened, and took action to get everything resolved. Her and the morning crew today managed to do what another store could not do in 4 days time in just a few hours. A sincere thank you to the Pharmacy staff (especially Jenny) for saving the day, and a customer. So... I actually used to work at this location before the pandemic keep in mind. I had a love/hate relationship with this business and it was a job. I get all kinds of people crack heads, homeless, Couponers, Karens, thieves, gang members, nice people, but most of all just normal costumers. That's what we had to deal with most of the time. But beware for Wednesday because that's truck day. And all the staff is in the back moving boxes and one cashier at the front with no help. If they ask help, no body would come and we would get a lecture in the back. But I would say the best people to talk to is Christine, Daisy, and Kevin. This store has been sliding downhill for some time, but today was the last straw. They have homeless people living onsite, which is bad enough. There is often trash strewn about the parking lot, especially around back in the drive-thru. It is obvious the parking and sidewalks have never been power washed, and who knows what those mucky "spill" marks are from. Our community gave up a perfectly delightful vintage Baskin Robbins on that corner, because the City told us we really needed the pharmacy. And this is what we get? There was never trash blowing all over or homeless camped there when it was a Baskin Robbins. The customer service in the pharmacy is abysmal. They will put you on hold to get rid of you, and of you hang on and someone else picks up, you have to start from scratch. It took three days to get a simple prescription filled, because my insurance doesn't cover it and they couldn't figure out how to deal with processing it. (How about calling me, rather than just leaving it "In Process"?) And don't pose a complicated question to them, like "Is this medication gluten free?" They don't know what that means. When they first opened, there was a great pharmacist there who was fantastic with that. Now, they don't even know what an allergen is. But the last straw today was when I went inside to pick up an item that required my ID. Since the pandemic started, I usually don't go into stores if I can help it, I just do drive-thru. This afternoon, I had to go in, and behind the pharmacy counter was a clerk wearing her face mask UNDER HER CHIN! That's right, someone who interacts all day with sick people, in a pharmacy administering vaccine to unvaccinated people, and she was not wearing a mask. I was absolutely appalled. It astounds me people in the healthcare industry can be so ignorant and negligent. And Walgreens is allowing it. They are supposed to be helping to stop this pandemic, not spread it. On my way out, I told a supervisor about it, and why I will not be shopping inside their store again. She seemed surprised, so it is clear no one is actively managing that staff. Again, not safe. So, if you are looking just to do just basic drive-thru, keep your doors locked and windows rolled up, and don't expect stellar service. I had to write this review after reading some other ones here. I got a prescription in one day here. However this one person answering the phone when I called to see if it was ready was very snooty. Guess the attitude was because she had told me that she would call me and let me know it was ready for pick up! Thing is she never did what she said she will do. So I called and she gave a attitude. The snooty attitude is wrong. It's not hard to be nice. As for the homeless I didn't see any homeless around there or trash in the back. I feel sad that the 31 flavors isn't there anymore also. Horrible customer service. I've had the worst experience with the photo dept all week. Today I went in to pick up pictures and I waited 20min ended up looking for my order myself and nothing! Even though I had an email confirmation they were ready. I went home called, the "manger" on site Diane or Diana answered my call and told be to re order and there is nothing she can do. I re ordered at 6:30pm got an email saying they will be ready at 7:45pm. I went to pick them up at 8pm, long line only on girl up front. The girl told me that photo has been down all day. Crazy how the manager on site didn't know that. The manager comes over, walking so slow, and just told me 7:45 is an estimate time. I asked her why she didn't tell me the photo was down and told me she didn't know. Wasted another trip. This girl was rude and had no customer service. Poor experience at this store today. We were not greeted upon entry and there were few associates on the floor to assist in locating items. When we got into the line, we waited patiently as the cashier had to leave and come back. After a time, another cashier came to open another register and instead of taking the next person in the long line, she took the last person and made him the person she helped first, essentially cutting the line of 5 people that were ahead of him. I told the "manager" who was dismissive and not at all helpful. He offered no apology, no genuine response, and only claimed he'd "look into it". This was my first and last time at that location. I' been coming to this pharmacy for a couple of years and I have seen how much the service has been getting worse and worse through out the years. I came to have a vaccine put on me that they didn't have the week before ( by the way I have 2 other vacines apply to me the week before ). I call them up to make sure they had the vaccine. They told me they had the vaccine. I came to the pharmacy and the lady who was at counter told me that I have to pay for the vaccine. That my Insurance did not cover it. It was not what she said because I know my insurance covers it like it cover the vaccines that they put on me the week before. But the arrogant way she said it. She started to talked and did not care of what I have to say.That was one experience that i had last month. Today. I reqest some medicine to be filled and they tell me that they gave me the medicines in October and that I had to pay if I wanted them. I know that i did not pick them and that they never gave them to me. They told me that they where going to look at their videos and if I pick them I pick them. After finally getting out of urgent care after waiting for three hours, I drove to the nearest pharmacy to get my prescription filled and to get home. I was the second person in line and there's one pharmacy technician working with with the pharmacist. The pharmacist was too busy doing god knows what while the technician was failing miserably trying to find an over the counter product for the guy in front of me. After staring the pharmacist down for a good five minutes, she reluctantly came over looked at my prescription before telling me it's going to be 45 minutes. I'm sorry, but after three hours of waiting and being in pain, I couldn't wait another 45 minutes. I asked her to transfer it to a pharmacy closer to my house and she's like, "well, that's 20 minutes away from here". Thank you google map, but i know where the heck the pharmacy is that I just asked you to transfer the prescription to. A 24 hour pharmacy needs more than one technician working with a pharmacist that seems to not want to provide customer service when she is working in a customer service oriented profession. read more

My boyfriend's entire family and I came in and got our whooping cough shots in the past 2 weeks because there was going to be a new baby in the house. I am terrified of needles and the nice lady there helped to keep me calm and it was over in a second. The cash price is $68 for the shot (they don't take Molina insurance). Happy it took only about 15 minutes and now we can all hold baby Mia without risking her health. My arm stayed sore for about 1-2 days but nothing bad at all. read more
