Waited for the person and after 10 minutes the recording say I'm next in line and it would be 34 minutes! I went for the call back option and it was about 6-7 minutes! Lady tells me I have to go back to store they can't do it only the store! I go back to the store and again they can't change my first name to match my card ! It's so obvious that they take pride in their work and establishment. I'm a new Sam's member. I've been to this location a few times and have not had any issues. It's clean and I love the scan and go option!! Today I grabbed two large boxes, scanned, and stacked them. Mind you I had a baby on my back and a toddler in the cart. I forgot to ask someone on my way out if I could have someone help me out . I get to my car and an employee, Carlos, came to help me unload!! I didn't have to ask. MVP. He said he saw my hands were full and wanted to check and see if I needed help. Love the attentiveness. Tonights sams clubs food court team dropped the ball. I watched the cashier Angie not greet thank or even be slightly friendly with multiple customers in front of me. Finally when its my turn she doesn't communicate until I'm already up there that someone needs a refund. Okay cool! No problem. Apparently the previous employee didn't communicate what he needed for the refund. Which held up the line even more since he couldn't even get the refund. When the MANAGER came up to override. There was no coaching, no assistance to the line, not even a sorry for the wait. My turn comes up. No greeting, no fake customer service smile which is just part of customer service, and no thank you. Not even an acknowledgement of the payment going through or if I needed a receipt. What Angie did do was stop to joke around with her coworkers mid way grabbing my items. Turns out Angie can smile just not to customers. I held my tongue and left without a word since if I opened my mouth I would of told her to care more about what pays her bills and feeds her. The lack of hospitality was beyond me. Customer service means making the customer feel welcomed and happy to come back so spend more money. Tonight's lack from the team and their leader ships shows a very much needed retraining. I haven't been a member of Sam's for a few years. Went in today with a friend. This location is right off the 215 in MoVal. Seems pretty chill compared to the Murrieta location. Wasn't busy at all so that was nice. We arrived mid day so that's a good time to go if you need to get some major shopping done. The scan & go feature on the Sam's app is where it's at. I don't think the other major competitor that starts with a "C" has that yet..or does it?! Someone enlighten me, lol. It was pretty cool to just be able to scan everything on your phone and walk out the door. No waiting in line and no having to deal with touching cash or the debit machines. I may end up renewing with Sam's again soon. I do recall Glenn A. mentioned a few days ago that their promo right now is a $45 gc with your purchase of their $45 membership. Cool beans! If you want to avoid the hassle and parking nightmare issues at the Murrieta location, I highly suggest coming here. There's a huge parking lot that was maybe half full. This review is only for my experience at the Sam's Club gas station. Came here July 5th, about 7 weeks ago while we were vacationing in the area, to fill up the gas tank. GasBuddy app showed it was the least expensive gas in the area. Drove up and there was a long line of cars, with the end of the line (me) backed up to the street, so I guess a lot of people also consulted GasBuddy for prices. Surprisingly, there weren't any drivers trying to cut into the line. In order to use the gas pumps, customer need to insert their Sam's Club membership card into the pump POS; otherwise, the pump won't be activated. Waited in line for about 15 minutes, which was a short time considering the amount of cars ahead of me. Waiting in the single file line leading to the gas station was the worst part. Once customers got toward the pumps, we all were able to fan out and get into lines for the different pump islands. There were 12 pumps, and most of the customers were pretty quick and efficient at getting to the pump, filling up and leaving. Except for the person in the car directly ahead of me at the pump. No matter how much she tried, she just couldn't get the gas pump to work because she did't have a membership card. She kept looking in my direction, as if she was asking with her eyes if I could insert my membership card into the POS so she could get gas. Nope, not today, missy. I pay for a membership, and you can too. She finally left after making it look like something was wrong with the POS. Hmmm ... must've fixed itself right before I drove up to the pump, because it worked just fine. The pump worked well and I was able to fill up quickly. The pump area was clean. read more

I have placed five orders now in the last month for pick up at the store. They make me select a time to come and pick it up, and not one out of the five orders has even been ready on the day that I requested it I get notification the following day that my order is finally ready. I came to the store went and talked to them. They told me they'd be right out in five minutes, three hours later I got a notification that my order was ready. I saw it in the parking lot for over an hour waiting before I walked in the store picked up everything I needed and left. Tonight my order was supposed to be ready at 5 o'clock, it is now 8 o'clock. I've heard nothing from them. I have called the store six times and let the phone ring for over four minutes. Not once did anyone answer the phone. Their customer service is horrible. I'm not really a sams club girl but I came with my family and the store seems like Costco but not Costco. Walking in very clean and bright the entrance greeter was super nice and funny. Walking in first thing you see are the tv and cash register, the store seem small unlike their competitors, the deals are ok nothing to say I'm going to sams club for that. We found a lot of good stuff but not a lot of sample people in the store I think I saw one person and she was super nice as well, she had shrimp something but it wasn't ready. Sam's Club Tire Center is the best one I've been to. I specifically worked with Matthew who was on top of his game, courteous, polite, friendly, and respectful. There was an issue with my tire and despite the backlog wait, Matthew went above and beyond to fix the issue. Even though the tire had been replaced 3 months ago, Matthew was able to replace the new one for a small installation charge. The rest of the warehouse is typical Sam's Club cleanliness, but the tire center is what we used most today. Definitely will go back to this club and see Matthew for any other auto needs. read more

The manager of this sams club loacation definitely needs to work on organizing their shipping and receiving area. I deliver water here multiple times a week as well as other Sam's club locations throughout the inland empire and it seems like this is one of the only locations that i deliver to that will make you wait hours to get unloaded even though there arent any trucks on the docks for hours they still make you wait a rediculous amount of time just cause thats the time of the appointment. They dont care for the truck drivers that deliver their products to them or their time, Other loactions will gladly unload you as soon as a spot opens up on their docks except this store. If you are a truck driver delivering to this location dont bother showing up early to your delivery because they wont recieve you until your appointment time even if they have the space. read more

We shop at both Costco and Sam's club. Sam's has some things that don't come in such large quantities like ready made salads. Since it's just the two of us, we don't waste food. When we entertain we will get the larger quantity salad from Costco. We really like having the options of the two different quantities. That's just one example, but I'm sure you get the idea. One thing that Sam's has that Costco doesn't is the Scan N Go app. If you've never used it, you definitely have to check it out. You scan the item when you add it to your shopping cart and get to bypass the checkout line. It always makes me laugh when I see people standing in line when they could just use the app. When you get to the exit, the employee who checks your receipt scans your phone and you are out and on your way. I really wish Costco would do this too. read more

I went to the Sam's Club in MoVly last week 12/09/22. Went in to get a shopping cart( several other people as well) was told if you want a cart " go out in the parking lot and find one". So a real nice customer gave me his cart. As I was putting me stuff in my car, some guy tried to steal my wallet in the parking lot. Please be careful! Called this location about an online order and was told that they would direct me to the department and I was left on hold for one hour and 10 minutes when somebody finally decided to pick up the line to verify why I was on hold and then told me that I needed to call a different number. We love this Sam's Club and the Optical Department! We come here to shop at least once a week and are always greeted with a smile and there are about 3 ladies that love my kids especially my daughter! They would give hugs (before COVID of course) and make us feel so comfortable. We stopped going to Costco, because this Sam's welcomes us with open arms and is not nearly as busy, so we can relax while shopping and do a self check out on your phone. It is so convenient. Woman rushed over and practically yelled at me stating it was store policy to transfer to the 2nd cart. Then pointed at the signs posted (that I obviously did not read) and still in her loud outside voice that it says so right there on the sign. We are both grown adults. There is no need to yell at me like im a child. Attracting the attention of other customers in line. I gave no indication to her that I would have protested even an ounce.
