When my tire pressure light goes on, I pull into this shop and they check the tires and refill any that are low. I noticed a pattern: my left rear tire tended to lose air pressure. So this week when they suggested I get the tire checked for leaks, I had time so I said yes. They told me it would take 90 minutes, so I was prepared to wait as they removed the tire, dunked it in water to check for defects, repaired any holes, and put the tire back on. It didn't take 90 minutes. It took 30. They found a hole, patched it, equalized the air pressure and balanced the tires. There was no charge! Everyone was so nice and helpful! When they took the tire off the wheel there was actually a gash (went all the way through) in the tire and a previous repair in a different area. They tried really hard to deal with the rental car company, but they couldn't couldn't get them to answer the phone . They suggested to put on the donut spare tire and go back to budget. Walk-In for an alignment. Arrived close to opening with 1 car in the tire service bay but none in the alignment service bay. Was promised a 9:30 out time(still seemed unreasonable.) Been here for 3 hours walked out at 11:10. At 10:30 they shared that my alignment isn't that bad just a crooked steering wheel. I said yes to the completing the alignment still bc why wait 1hr30 to just see it and leave with the same crooked steering wheel. It's silly because they recommended the alignment as my used tires had "uneven tread wear". When I bought 4 new tires two days prior for this same location and I was in and out in like a hour. Some adjectives to describe my experience working with Alex would be attentive, friendly, trustworthy, smart, efficient, and dedicated. He helped me select wheels and tires for my new 2019 Volkswagen e-Golf. Alex helped immediately when I walked in and was extremely patient and listened to all of my needs and concerns -- and I had a few that he quickly worked to overcome. The way I was greeted and accommodated and then worked in for help far exceeded my expectations! This was important to my buying decision! So I came here about a few days ago because I had to change my girlfriends tire and asked if I could borrow a tool. I gave them my ID and they let me use a tool that I didn't have... so I took it back to my house to change the tire myself at home. Ended up changing my girls tire, but the spare that was in her trunk was the wrong tire... Not my fault same size and all its a long story. Long story short it wouldn't tighten the whole way so I had her drive back to the tire shop on a lose tire lol. They tried telling me since the tire was loose the bolts could've bent and stripped inside so they told her that she needs all four tires replaced. They said changing one would mess up the car due to the fact its an all wheel drive. Then after "observing" the tire told us they couldn't replace the one tire because if the tire comes off and they cant put the new one on they would be liable. So we left the car there for the rest of the day until the following day. The next day we called some people we knew they drove to the tire shop to pick the car up. We ended up driving the car to a tire place down the road and they ended up replacing the tire. No damages were done like they said were done. The discount tire people wasted our time and tried to finesse us. We got the tire replaced, and we had another tire patched from a leak for just 90 bucks total at another place. These people are money hungry. I only recommend if you need all four tires replaced because they do warranty them. Other than that go to a local small business for the low. read more

I have always had nothing but positive things to say about discount tire until now. I have had 5 sets of tires on this vehicle, all from discount tire besides the OEM set. I have spent well over 15k on rims and tires from discount tire on this vehicle alone. Their "certificate warranty" is a joke, or perhaps it is just the manager of this location, Zane that is... Land Rover dealership was performing service on my car and informed me I had a separated tire on my car. They wanted to replace it, but I told them no, I only let discount tire handle my tire needs. Called DTC and explained and they ordered the special order tire so it would be ready when I came in. Upon arriving a was greeted by a female employee, I didn't catch her name. Eventually the got to my car and began changing the tire. About 5 min into the service the manager Zane greeted me aggressively and immediately told me they would not be replacing the separated tire under warranty saying "well, it's unevenly worn". I don't know what type of training this guy had but a tire that is separated and no longer round is going to wear unevenly... He asked what I wanted to do, obviously I told him I wanted my tire replaced. Every time I purchase from discount tire they sell me "certificates for free replacement" in the event one is defective like this. After listening to his BS I told him I just wanted to leave and go somewhere else so whatever that took. He said we can throw your spare tire on so I agreed. As I was walking away, I'm not sure if it was him or someone else but they said "this guys spare is probably too old to put on". This was extremely upsetting to hear because last time I was at DTC they essentially forced me to purchase a new spare tire for stating it was too old... Anyways, I'm just here voicing my frustration. I may or may not continue to use discount tire, but certainly not this location. I get my car tires here. I've been a Discount Tire customer for a long time, at least twenty years. I go to this location since it's closest to home. I can't ever be arsed to make an appointment, but you probably should. This location is busy, busy, busy with typical wait times between one and two hours. Discount Tires is the best chain I've found. Good prices, great brands, great warranty, free rotations and air checks. Locations across the country. If you get tires from Discount, any location will service you. This is great for someone like me that cross country. Knowledgable, courteous staff who will get you fitted for the right tire to fit your budget and your life. I've never felt pressured on an upsell. Although, it was mildly annoying to have them try and sell me a new spare a year before the manufacturer's own warranty runs out the stock donut. Only complaint I have is on the rebates. They sound good but it can be a massive pain to get corporate to follow through on. I was supposed to get a $400 Visa card rebate on my last purchase. After hounding them for six month to send the damn thing, they claim to have mailed it, but I never received it and they stopped responding to me after that. read more

Started using the online scheduling. I will never go to another place. They always honor their warranties if you purchase them. What a warranty! Discount Tire has always treated me right. Their tires can be a bit more expensive than some of the competition, but their warranties are the best! I remember their advertisements from back in the day with the little old lady throwing her tire through the window of her local Discount Tire store because she wasn't satisfied. I came in here to get my tires rotated and balanced. They were able to get me in and out pretty quickly, especially since I didn't make an appointment on their website, which should've gotten me done faster if I'd done that. After the tires were rotated and installed, the clerk came out and told me what they'd done, and that there'd be no charge. I've shopped at Discount Tire most of my driving life since they take such good care of the tires. They have a great warranty that has replaced/fixed many flats. When I came in, there seemed to be an irregularly high number of people who were coming in with tire and wheel damage from running into things and destroying the tires. I left her there with the car. she had a nail in the tire an it had a 'slow' leak. while I was gone the little pr+@#k at discount tire told her the nail was "in the wrong place" an he made her buy a tire from the Pr*#K.
