Both Sam and Daniel are so patient, friendly and accommodating ensuring that they understand the problem so that the repair is possible. I came across an old TV that somebody was throwing away on the curb. It didn't have any cables or anything attached to it not even a power cable after three days of Google, searching what parts I might need or how I could fix it I decided just to drive up to Sam's, he took one look at it said oh it needs this type of power connector. He brought one out, and offered to let me try it out and see if anything was wrong. To save the drive back home and back, He let me hook it up right on site just to test because I had never even turned on the TV and it worked! then he went back in the shop and found the exact kind of cable that I would've need for the TV. It turned on just fine, and there was no other indications of any problems! I asked what i owed, he said 15$ for the cord, he said there wouldn't be anyone else in Hawaii that would have this type of power cord(model specific), and I believe him! I only had $12 in cash. Horrible terrible awful experience. The manager was rude, condescending and overall a real jerk. He refused to provide service on my new Samsung tv even though Samsung setup a service ticket with them. He did not provide an explanation why he rejected the service and hung up on me! By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I called Samsung to complain and they said this isn't the first time they've had a problem with this service provider. Called them up, let them know I was bringing a TV down. When I arrived the guy behind the counter came out and helped me unload my TV. Left it there for a few days and unfortunately they could not find the part to fix my TV (an old model by today's standards) but the service was good. read more

We purchased our Samsung 55" Curve TV from Costco about 10 months ago. The TV suddenly went black and silent while watching it the other night. We were instructed by Costco to call Sam's Electronics for the warranty repair. I called them on a Friday and after answering some brief questions I was told that they would call me as soon as the replacement part came in. Just after noon on Monday I was called by Sam's and made arrangements for him to do the repair that same afternoon. He arrived a couple hours later and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. They are NOT open on Saturdays!!!!! Don't make the mistake I did. According to yelp they are open on Saturdays, but when you get there, the sign on the door says closed on Saturdays and Sundays. When I called it said Saturdays are appointment only. So....lesson learned, always best to call before you go. read more

Sam's Electronics came to my home for a repair of my TV that was under warantee. But why I am writing this review for is what they did for me while at my house. Not only did the fix my TV , but they gave me some great tips on how to adjust the setting on my cable box to get a better picture that enhances the awesome capabilities of my TV. Then I spoke to the guy about my plasma that was in the corner and not working. Instead of me dragging that big TV in to get an estimate, he offered to take it back with him to the shop and take a look at it. Their customer service is AMAZING and so hard to find these days. Bought a 55" curved tv from Costco. Periodically, it went black for about 5 to 8 seconds and then back on. Watch a recorded program it would also go black for a 5 to 8 seconds. Rewound and played it back and the 5 or 8 seconds had been recorded. So didn't seem like the cable and/or box. Call Costco tech and they transferred me to Samsung. They set up an appointment with Sam's Electronics. Received a call within an hour and scheduled an appointment two days later. Sam (the owner) arrived and changed both boards in the tv and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. Also gave me several tips, i.e. my tv was not set on 1080 and therefore, not receiving HD. I found Mililani TV in Google search. I was told it will cost $300+ to repair my Panasonic 42" Th42pz700 plasma tv. I loaded my tv in the car and drove around Costco area but I can't find Mililani TV. Instead, I found Sam's Electronics in Waipio Business Center. I got off my car and asked the guy in the front office for direction. He google map for me and give me direction to find Mililani TV. I told him my Panasonic TV is dead and the LED blinks 7 times. He explained to me what is the problem and Panasonic extended the warranty to repair this problem. Because Sam's is a factory authorized service center, they can repair it free of charge! Terrific service. I called and spoke to Dennis on the Friday just before Christmas to see if they could fix my TV, which had just gone dead. Like most businesses, their schedule was packed, but Dennis (who was very friendly and helpful) called back a few hours later to say he could fit me in the very next day, on Saturday afternoon. Right on schedule, Sam showed up--just as friendly and helpful as Dennis. In no time he had the TV fixed, answering my questions and explaining the situation as he worked.
