When scheduling to get our TV fixed we were provided with Sam's Electronics. This was easiest and fastest experience we've had where we got our TV scheduled for repairs and then fixed in less than 2 days. Sam was very accommodating when scheduling the appointment. I unsuccessfully scoured the neighborhood looking for rare 5-pin connector when I found Sam's Electronics. Sam said the part is not readily available but then he went to the back of the store, searched for a while and found a spare wire with the 5-pin connector. I used it to "MacGyver "the part and it worked for my electronic sofa. It is this type of care and genuine customer service that adds Value to a store. I never thought a TV could provide such problems, but thank good mess for techs that know what they are doing! Totally the case with experience with this company. My TV is not that old, but one night, it just stopped working and my husband was very concerned about this. Since it's a large wall mount TV in the living room, I'm sure you can understand how quiet it became at home. Personally, I didn't mind, but I knew my husband would like the TV fixed sooner than later. He found Sam and what a quick fix this turned out to be. Sam was worth every penny and he even let us know that there could be two issues with our TV (even before seeing it). In order to prepare for the worst, he went ahead to order the pieces (since they will take some time to come in) and if we end up not using them, then not a problem. I liked his ability to be prepared. When he finally arrived to the home, he quickly found the problem and fixed the issue...didn't even have to use the ordered parts. My husband was thrilled. Not only did he save us money, but he fixed the problem quickly, knew what the potential issues were over the phone, and since he came during a weekday, was mindful if the time my husband was giving him as he took time off work to get the TV fixed. My newly bought Samsung TV was showing vertical lines on the right side after being on for several hours. I decided to choose and contact Sam's Electronics based on their reviews. After emailing them, I got a response the next morning. Daniel was very prompt and efficient with responding. He provided all the details needed and walked me through the process. In less than two days Daniel was able to send out a technician to take a look at the TV. Sam came over to diagnose my TV. He was super friendly and very professional. He even made an attempt to calm my dog down, which was barking constantly. That was such a nice gesture of Sam to do. Sam was very informative about what was wrong with the TV and walked me through what the next steps would be. After a couple days, Samsung was unable to replace my TV and provided a refund. I took my Samsung TV to this company many years ago when I lived in Mililani, and I had great service back then. Recently, I brought my friend's Samsung to this company, and they looked at the broken screen while it was still in my car. When we added up the charges, it was about the same as a new one, so my friend ended up leaving his broken TV with the vendor and buying one of their refurbished TV's for an affordable price. I recently brought my broken Samsung to this company, and they fixed it in a few days for an affordable price. Our 86" TV had a small crack at the bottom of the screen and eventually lead to a streak of lines on the TV. I panicked knowing how expensive this was and sought out Sam's electronics because of its great reviews. I dont write reviews as often but this one deserved it. My total came out to be way more than what my TV cost and for the honesty and fast response time (couple hours), they definitely deserve 5 stars. Inquiring was an easy process. I can only summarize my experience with Sam/Sam's Electronics one way: I would almost deliberately break another TV just to have Sam come out again. What an incredible, smart and highly experienced man. From start to finish, Sam (and Daniel, who handles scheduling) was perfect in every way -- except my 3D TV was ultimately dead and unfixable. That said, it took two other repair companies who missed the problem before Sam came out and meticulously went component by component to ultimately diagnose the dead and sadly unfixable screen. If you have any electronics that need repair -- and he is the authorized repair company for most brands -- do yourself a huge favor and call Sam first. Awesome service! I emailed them and told them the problem I was having and the next day I got a response and was able to schedule an in home service repair (there is a charge for that). Tech showed up in the scheduled window time with new parts in hand. He diagnosed the problem and had the part with him. He swapped out the board and got my TV up and running and back on the stand. Once again Yelp pulled through! Sam repaired my 4 year old Samsung tv that had a burnt out LED strip. He originally thought he needed to order the parts and was honest about the total cost and timeline for the parts to arrive, and stated it may be more cost efficient to purchase a new tv. Thankfully before the day ended he discovered he did in fact have the parts needed and the cost was significantly less since he did not need add on a shipping charge. He was upfront and honest in stating that the repairs may not work and if it doesn't there will be no charge to me. This was on Friday of Veterans Day weekend, so he said he would have my tv ready the following Tuesday. To my surprise he called me Monday morning saying my tv was repaired and ready for pickup. I have nothing but positive things to say about Sam's customer service and excellent work. I highly recommend his shop! On a side note I read a review which stated he was rude over phone. While I was there he received a call from a customer looking for his shop, and he was talking loudly which may be conceived as rude by the person on the phone. But watching him in person it was anything but rude. I believe Sam is Chinese and English appears to be his second language so that may be the reason behind the misconception to his rudeness. read more

One word I can describe my experience for this place is, "surprise", and I'll explain why I say this. Surprise 1: When I came to their shop the first thing I see is a mountain of boxes in their garage. It was also cluttered with a lot of spare parts on the side where I don't think you can walk through easily unless you climb the mountain of boxes. Surprise 2: After marveling the view of their garage I walked through the door and again I was looking around the room and was astonished by more spare parts in their individual boxes sitting on selves lined against the walls with a bunch of TVs on the floor in front of the front desk. Surprise 3: I brought in my TV a 2009 Samsung 40", my issue was it will display a white screen in the foreground in front of the picture barely making out what I'm viewing. I asked what could the cause be and they say they can not determine until they diagnose and pinpoint the issue. When I made my intial phone call prior to coming they say the cost of the diagnose/deposit fee is $45, the cost of the diagnose depends on the size of the tv. Since it was a new year and first day of business they told me it is $35 and then a few minutes later while I was filling the work order form another employee said it is actually $30 while handing the list of new prices for 2018 to his employee to post on their wall. Surprise 4: After dropping off my TV and a few hours later I got a phone call telling me they found the issue and that they have the part on hand and can repair it that same day and will be ready to be picked up the next day. The cost of repair with labor and after deducting the diagnoise/deposit fee is $170. Surprise 5: I came in the next day in the morning to pick up and they informed me their labor cost actually changed and charged my $10 less. Which i was more than pleased to pay since it will save me ~$150 from paying for a new TV for the same size. Surprise 6: One more surprise before leaveing. I asked to use their bathroom before taking off. When i walked in and turned on the lights i discovered more parts in the room and shelves with a small TV, VCRs, and a very old Betamax player, which I believe I've never seen one till now. Overall aside from all the surprises I keep getting from this shop their expertise and customer service is on point and was not overshadowed by their semi-chaotic clutter over running all their rooms even though it was distracting. read more

Daniel did a great job fixing our TV! Thank you so much!!! Our 55" Samsung smart tv was purchased less than a year ago at Walmart during the Black Friday sale and all of a sudden it stopped working. I was up late watching the last episode of Narcos when the tv just shut off and wouldn't turn on. I reset the tv, unplugged it, plugged it in to different outlets and it still wouldn't work. The red standby light wouldn't even come on. I thought I was screwed since I didn't purchase the warranty but luckily it was still within the manufacturers warranty. I called them and they put a ticket in for someone to repair it, and since it was during the weekend, I got a call the next business day from Daniel at Sam's Electronics. We tried to do a little troubleshoot over the phone in case he needed certain parts but it still wasn't working. He was able to make an appointment with me the next day and he was able to fix it! As cliche as it may sound, Sam is the man. I bought a UHD 50" Samsung from Best Buy on July 8th and the television was perfect until Tuesday. I went to turn it on and I got picture but no sound. Frustrated and home sick, I called Samsung's customer support and they were beyond awful, they would put me on hold for 15 minutes and I would get cut off- this happened 3 times despite me showing a lot more patience than I should have. Finally, the last agent put in a service ticket to Sam's Electronics and told me to give them a call to see when they could come out. I spoke with Daniel originally, explained the problem and it's like he read my mind over what needed to be done. He told me give it a few days and someone would be out to fix it. I get a text confirming the appointment (today) so a 2 day turnaround for a manufacturing warranty is damned good. Sam calls me as he enters the drive way and instantly I like him, he's a funny man and extremely skilled at his job. It took Sam less than 45 minutes to fix the issue and he was on his way. As I said though, he's EXTREMELY funny, we went back and forth with jokes his entire visit and really made dealing with Samsung's customer service worth it for them to send him out. I inquired about prices in general and it's more than reasonable so if you need to have someone look at your television, check them out I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Sam and Daniel, thank you for everything. Now my 4K RV is updating its firmware and I have the direct number if I need anything else- I can load up my Madden when it's finished and be happy, bwahahaha. read more

Brought my tv down to get it fixed. Dropped off Monday and got my tv back on Friday. Considering it took 3 days for my parts to arrive, that's a really quick turnaround time. Sam was very professional and everything was ran in an efficient manner. Labor is flat rate depending on tv size in addition to the cost of parts. Which was fairly reasonable. Couldn't be any happeier! If your tv is massive and you don't want to bring it in, they could come to you for an extra fee ($95 I think) which is convenient. FIVE STARS! Will definitely come back but let's hope I don't have to read more

Had problems with our 50" Samsung Smart TV we bought from Costco... Not even a year old... Went through Costco Concierge... Which was a pain in the butt. They want to keep running this test and that test. It was pretty ridiculous. In the future, I will DEMAND to have a repairman come out, when in fact, I knew there was a problem with the tv and not the cable or whatever else. Anyway, Sam comes out... Nice guy. He was here about an hour and now the tv works great. But rather than having only the option to spend more money to fix the problem, they also offered to refund me for the initial part and just charge me for labor. I called inquiring about my 65 Ince Samsung TV. They were very knowledgeable about it and gave me their prices. I when I arrived I walked in and they came out to help me unload the tv. He said I would know by the end of the day the outcome and if I wanted to pursue the fix if fixable or not. sure enough I got the call 3 hrs after. I let him know I wanted it fixed. He told me either the end of the day I would receive a call or first thing the following business day. In my mind I thought it didn't matter how long it takes i'm grateful that it can be done.
