The donuts here weren't fresh. Donut shops here are not what I'm used to, I typically prefer speciality donuts. Though they offered different glazes, fillings and sprinkles it just didn't hit the spot. Perhaps I should've had it with coffee or tea to really bring the flavor out? read more

This is one of my favourite places, this place caught my eye when I am looking for places to meet my friend for a coffee and I love their donuts. I totally totally fall in love for this place. Good service clean space and much responsive. I like their ambience . And their food looks clean and fresh. All we care about end of the day is good food, amazing interior and great spot. Sam's Fresh Donuts have some of the best donuts and the staff is really nice and friendly. We always get the apple fritter, buttermilk, sprinkle, and crumb donuts. It's worth the drive out to Burbank. There's lot parking and street parking. They sell sandwiches and other drink items as well. read more

I've been a regular at this establishment since I was a young kid and since then the service has been immaculate. All the workers display a positive attitude and seem to always remain cool during the busiest hours. I was highly disappointed in this place. After seeing it was 5 stars I had to try it. The donuts look pretty to look at, and that's about it. The dough tasted as if it was fried in old oil and the frosting tasted really generic and was kinda gross tasting. the dough wasn't super soft as 9thers have stated. I tried this place based on location (it was on my way to work) and good Yelp ratings/reviews, and I must say it didn't disappoint! I arrived at Sam's at 8AM this morning. This tiny shopping center had a packed parking lot, but I circled the block and there were a lot of parking spaces on the street. I went into the place, just a small storefront with a counter, some seats, past winning lotto tickets on the back wall, and two people in front of me in line. Apparently they were just paying because the gentleman behind the counter offered to help me right away. I requested 2 dozen donuts, not crazy varieties, just the good stuff like long johns, sprinkles, some jelly and filled, glazed, chocolate glaze, etc. As I was pointing out the ones I wanted, I could see them making more fresh donuts (with actual dough) in the back room! As I finished, they asked me what my favorite donut was and I said chocolate glaze and they threw that one in for free! How did they know I needed a car snack?! The donuts were very fresh and soft (morning tends to be the freshest for all donut places) so thank you, Sam's Donuts! :) read more

Needed Donuts and Coffee at 3am before fishing and this was the only place that popped up that was open. Walked in and there he is, Sam! Doing what he does best, making FRESH donuts! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Amazing place to come get coffee doughnuts or boba. There doughnuts are always fresh and tasty and great prices. There coffee is always hot and fresh they also now serve Armenian coffee which is amazing. However for there boba It is out of this world it tastes amazing I have never had boba like this and not only is it 24 hours but it is truly the best I recommend their mocha boba or Thai tea both are amazing their mocha comes with a delicious chocolate syrup on the sides of the cup. The donuts at this place are good, but they aren't as amazing as some of the reviews claim. They taste like pretty generic cake donuts, they are heavy and doughy, and fill you up. The glazed taste like good glazed donuts, but it doesn't melt in your mouth or anything, and it doesn't have any special flavors. This place has good donuts, but nothing that you probably haven't tasted before. read more

Favorite food place. Can't go wrong with anything on their incredibly large menu. Like they literally have everything from donuts to sandwiches to milkshakes to Armenian coffee.
