Grilled (flounder), if you can find it

We ordered calamari for our appetizer on top of the sliders. We got the sliders, but didn't get the calamari until our food came out. We ordered two of the grilled flounder dinners, tell me why they were the size of a mini perch not enough to even make a meal. We didn't complain, our tab was $160 and we tipped 20%. The service was subpar for a place that wasn't even that busy on a SATURDAY NIGHT! The ambiance was good, all games were being televised.

This place is a hidden gem! I absolutely enjoyed their 1/2 off wine special on Wednesday with cupcake white wine which was recommended by our server. Their surf and turf and shrimp pasta was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals I've had in a while. Service was friendly and helpful! Also being on the water was so beautiful and the pelicans were so cool to see.

The place is really big and located right by the water. It has a great view of the sunset and easy access by boat or car. The staff is friendly and constantly checking up on you wether you're seating on the patio or inside. The food is good bar food and seafood classics. They have vast options and the quality is good. It is a great place to go for a happy hour and to enjoy the nice weather with a view.

On vacation from California and we selected this place for lunch. This place has a very unique and interesting atmosphere that combines a restaurant/ sports bar vibe with a very cool seafarers' theme. We were seated right away. Our server, Kelsie was wonderful! We enjoyed seafood Alfredo, a crab boil and a seafood samplers. They were all great! The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were excellent. Definitely recommended.

We wanted a close place with outdoor seating on the water, and oysters. Sam's delivered on all fronts. Raw and Rockefeller oysters, ahi tuna, and shrimp tacos were had by 3 of us. All of it was good but none of it was outstanding by any means. The house marg was very subpar and the glasses of wine were waaay overpriced. $13, really?? We wouldn't have ordered them if we knew that, but alas there was no wine list so we relied on what the waitress told us was available and figured the prices would be reasonable like everything else. The atmosphere was fine, again nothing to write home about. Same goes for the service. Nice water views! It's definitely a sports place so be prepared for loud TVs... inside and outside. Not my scene at all but the sports fans will enjoy it. All in all, just okay here. Curiosity satiated and I've no desire to return.

Crawfish by the pound and they were sooo spicy!! Loved it.

We went here on the weekend. While they certainly did not appear busy, we had to wait quite while. That sort of established the service mentality for our visit - just ok. Reading through a few other reviews, it does appear that they've had a rough time getting and keeping staff. Service is enough to get your food and your order correct but nothing overboard. We got an order of crawfish and the nachos with a few beers. The crawfish were the spiciest I have ever had. I loved it but not everyone will. The nachos were meh - some very ordinary chips on a plate with other stuff piled on.

Ok, this is my opinion of the Sam's Boat on NASA Rd in Seabrook, TX. Thursday, 02/20/25 It only gets 3 stars from me for the following reasons. Their food is the same as the Pearland location but different. I love fried Catfish but not this time. The silver on the meat has a very distinct taste that I HATE! Not just hate but makes me physically ill! The loaded mashed potatoes are good but not as good as I have had. These were pretty dry even with all the other stuff on top. The hush puppies were soggy, ick! Lastly the coleslaw was bland at best. I doubt I return to this location. There are better seafood restaurants in the same proximity. I'll save my taste buds for the Pearland Sam's Boat location. FYI the lunch menus are different from one location to the other. See photos

Always enjoy the visit to Sam's Boat at this location! I enjoy the patio seating looking over the water. Service is always great and food is enjoyable. Had the loaded crawfish this visit while they are in season. This has been my favorite spot for crawfish in the whole Bay Area for years as it is consistently cooked well and seasoned nicely. Will definitely recommend to others for any giving day of the week to enjoy a nice atmosphere and some good seafood and more eats!

Best seat on the patio!! A storm is coming in!

This is a great spot to come and get a few appetizers (I got the queso and an order of hush puppies) and sit out on the patio! It's gorgeous at night! The food was good and drinks were good as well, a great option for somewhere to chill out and get some food! I liked everything I tried but I'm not a fish person so I didn't try any seafood!! They have good vegetarian options for veggie folks!

We decided to stop in while out running errands. The restaurant is clean and the service is great! I ordered the mixed grill with green beans and veggie of the day. My wife had the flounder with butter sauce and mother-in-law ordered the fried shrimp basket. We all loved the main dish items. The green beans had a different taste, almost like they took on the taste of the grill. Other than that, we loved our food and will be back again! You can't beat the view. They also have great drink specials for those that partake.

    1/2 lb snow crab

Came here on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly on the patio, there was some live music, and overall the ambiance was chill. Our waitress was in training, so it was her and another girl that waited on us. My sister and I ordered snow crab and upon them bringing our meals they said they didn't have any crackers. The manager came to our table to explain that they were all out of crackers because people sometimes take them. He said he searched everywhere for some and that they were being ordered. For the inconvenience he said he would discount out meals since we expressed that we wouldn't be able to break open the harder pieces. He even offered for us to choose something different and he would credit it. We just stuck with the crab because that's why we came there. I thought that was good customer service on his part as a manager. The crab itself was just mediocre. Only had a light salty flavor. The corn was way too spicy and soggy, couldn't enjoy it. At the end of the meal one of our checks was wrong, and the manager ended up crediting us for my meal and part of my sister's. Had there been crackers, and I paid for my meal, I think it wouldn't have been worth the price.

I went with The Cactus King, one of their house-brewed beers, and paired it with the original chicken sandwich--perfect combo. The Cactus King is a standout. It's one of those beers you sip once and immediately want to order again. Dressed with Tajin Their beer menu is impressive across the board--everything from crisp lagers to bold stouts. As for the food--the original chicken sandwich was fantastic. Juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a toasted bun with just the right crunch. Fries were hot and crispy too. Nothing fancy, just done right. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a mix of indoor and patio seating, great views, dog friendly and friendly staff who actually know their beer. We decided to get the tasting option and try some of the nice variety of beers and sours they offered. I can't remember which ones I got but I also tried my daughter and sister's choices. Everything was delicious except the wings we ordered were dry-rubbed and were too hard & crispy to me. I'm very picky about my buffalo wings, though. The service was fantastic and it's a fairly big place that is probably packed on the weekend. It's family friendly, too, with a playground right next to their outdoor patio.

The service was horrible, we sat there being passed by at least 6 different servers for the first 15 mins with no acknowledgment, no drinks and not even handed menus at the very least. When we finally got to order it took at least 30 mins to get to us. The mozzarella sticks are straight out of a freezer bag, you can tell, and the spinach wrap was soggy. Not even that, I asked for no avocado because I'm allergic and what did I find at the very bottom of it? Exactly that. So clearly they don't care about allergies! We were never checked on, any time we needed something (like a drink) we had to flag someone down. Even to pay the bill we had to go through 3 people to track down whoever was supposed to be our server. The servers were unpleasant as well, they were too busy talking to eachother to even know what's going on. I will never step foot inside of this place again, coming here in the first place was a huge mistake. Like I said, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. I bet the Denny's down the street would serve you better than this place ever could.

He was a bartender inside and worked our group of about 16 people at the same time. We never lacked for drinks or food at all. Our area had at least 3 TVs so I was able to catch every sporting event that was going on while hanging out, it was a great time. I tried the steak fingers and some crawfish, both were great! The steak fingers had nice crisp to them and the crawfish was boiled well and had good flavor. Every drink I tried was delicious, I tried a margarita and could have kept sipping those but opted to go with draft beer instead. There are so many menu options I definitely want to come back to try more food and drinks. They have an area with a pool table and darts, it looked nice but I didn't hang out there. Bathrooms were pretty clean and readily available, no lines even when the place was packed. They also have plenty of parking.
