Great customer service for my old refrig. Wow! The guy helped me reset the panel easily.

This company has to have the worst customer service ever. I tried to purchase a galaxy s24 ultra that they had advertised on their website which said they would double the memory for free. When I tried to order the phone they said the promotion had expired even though it was still on the website. Everytime Icall their customer service I get an overseas agent that I can't always clearly communicate with. I would definitely advice anyone who is thinking of switching to Samsung to reconsider. read more

October 2018 Dear Samsung, Pacific Sales and Geek Squad. On July 5th, 2018 Samsung was supposed to come out to check on our microwave that almost burnt our house down. A couple of months after we bought the microwave last Aug/Sept of 2017, it would just turn itself on by itself. The microwave would come on and/or the fan would turn on. One time when we were on vacation, our house sitter stated that the fan had come on, she turned it off and then when we returned after our vacation, the fan was on full blast. The last time that it happened, before I began calling Samsung, it came on by itself and when I went to check it, the microwave on the outside was so hot to the touch on the OUTSIDE of the microwave, I had to use a pot holder to open it, when I did a blast of heat came out. I tried every button to turn it off but it would not turn off until we finally unplugged it. I had not called before this last time because we were dealing with the loss of my daughter's daughter and another death in our family. Thus began 6 weeks of the most reprehensible, disgraceful, banging my head up against a wall customer service (Samsung) and the most wonderful, refreshing customer service (Pacific Sales and Geek Squad) that I have ever had the misfortune/privilege of witnessing. Samsung was supposed to come out July 5th. When they didn't show up, they told me that they could not find my address, even though I made the appointment with them. When I had originally spoken to the Samsung representative and told him our problem, he said that he was so sorry and that it sounded like a fire hazard, that there was an alert on this particular brand of microwave and that there would be no problem to replace it. Unfortunatley I did not get his name, but the service # was 4147790184/ ticket # 4147846020 for a company named Home Service Network. When I called Home Service Network, I could not believe how rude this woman was. She said that they would need to send a person out, that my warranty had expired. When I questioned her on that, because it had only been 9 months from the time of purchase she said the warranty began "from the manufacture date of the microwave", of which everyone who heard me say that from friends, to the Geek Squad, to Pacific Sales were as astonished as I was. I spoke with her boss, Brent. He was more rude than the woman who answered the phone. He told me that I would need to uninstall the microwave myself, that their company would not do it. I told him that then we could be held liable if we damaged it because we did not know how to uninstall a microwave but all he said was that was my problem. I was incredulous! The woman at Home Service Network, then her boss were so awful. I didn't think it could get any worse until their service man came out. Samsung came out to take a look at it. Joshua , from Home Service Network came out. He saw the microwave go on and off. He kept hitting the buttons and hoping that I didn't see it going off, obviously getting very uncomfortable. This happened over and over again. Until he finally said that it was a manufacturing problem. When I called him on it and asked him why the microwave kept coming on, he got increasingly agitated until I was uncomfortable and said "this is too big of a microwave to this space" I told him that we had that size in that spot for 25 years. He then again said it was a manufacturing problem. He was rude and obnoxious and I finally asked him to leave. After about 45 minutes I got a call from Joshua and he said that I need to keep the microwave unplugged, it's a fire hazard. Tongue in cheek I asked him why I would need to do that if "it was just a manufacturing problem" Gustavo, the guy that Joshua called into to tell him was a manufacturing problem. I repeatedly told him again what had happened with Joshua but all he said that, whatever Joshua said "goes" I finally ended up going to the place I bought the microwave from and THEY were more than happy to replace my microwave, THEIR customer service was amazing. Samsung, I have heard from so many people that your service center are awful. I like your products but will not buy another one from you unless I have a warranty from someplace else. Here we go another big corporation taking advantage of the lil consumer. I was a note 7 owner and was forced to turn my phone in due to faulty equipment and so to know fault of mine I had to drive my car use my gas and spend a plethora of my time getting a another phone. I was told if I at that time got another Samsung device that when the note 8 came out I would be eligible for to revive a rebate as well as a Samsung gift. Well now I purchased the note8 and was just told by Samsung REP. Alexus 8945 that because I did not get the note 8 from the Samsung store that I am now uneligible for the 450.00 rebate and gift.... Which was the only reason I chose to deal with them again ..... do not buy Samsung devices its clear there word is as faulty as the not 7 was ... the next big thing was they bamboozled there customers IJS repost and share but do not support them read more

Tried 2 Samsung Series 9 laptops and both were horrible; an NP900X3A and an NP900X3C. Yes it looks beautiful and very light, but operation wise it is a DISASTER. I have a dual core that is 5 years old and is more stable, faster and much more reliable. Samsung knows about these issues and all what they are prepared to do is ask you to send a $1300+ laptop for service even after few days of purchase. I don't know about others but if I am paying this kind of money I expect to get equivelant in return. SAMSUNG laptops do NOT give you that, and Samsung the company does not care! Terrible trackpad, Terribly slow laptop/SSD, keyboard backlit does not work and do not forget the Wifi issues, battery does not hold charge and "blue Screen of death". Reading online I found out many complaints about these same issues are there for over 9 months now and STILL Samsung did nothing to rectify any of these issues. This of course is after I made all updates and suggestions of Samsung support to drivers and softwares even reinstalling the whole software twice. Samsung should do the honest and professional thing by recalling their very inefficient product from the market and replace them with proper ones or refund the thousands of clients who fell for Samsung misleading advertising and practices. Their main office, as I understand is in NJ. Buyer beware - I have a Samsung 3D Smart TV, all in one computer and tablet. The products are fine, but hope you never need service. Their level of support service is abysmal, .inferior and incompetent . I have never encountered a company whose service (so-called) personnel who were so untrained and lacking in product knowledge. II have yet to call and have a single person have any helpful information or product knowledge. NONE! They put you on long periods of hold while they do who knows what. Often with questions that are basic to the product. This includes all their products. I submitted a single question about an aspect of my TV which has yet to be answered after several phone calls and e-mail inquiries. I was promised call backs which never happened. There is an ongoing issue, several months now, which has never been addressed. Here again, promised call backs including from a department that would come on my tablet and address it. You may as well be asking their people how to build a space ship. They stammer and put you off and still have no idea. Their idea of service is a sham. And shameful. read more

We purchased an entire Samsung kitchen set (oven, microwave, dishwasher, a refrigerator) in November of 2015. The appliances were not delivered until January 2016. To make a long story short the dishwasher didn't work, the oven and refrigerator were dented. We accepted the minor damage to the oven. We had a replacement refrigerator delivered in February of 2016. On Sunday August 27, 2016 the refrigerator died. We called the Samsung number (1800-726-7864) and were told according to their records the refrigerator was out of warranty. How is this possible the refrigerator was not manufactured until December 2015. Samsung said we needed to send them the bill of sale which we did (8/29/16) and which they could not find. We resent today (8/31/16). No idea when or if we will get this resolved. We are eating out of ice chests. We even brought in at our cost an appliance repair man who promptly looked the refrigerator and said its still under the factory warranty and that I would need to go through Samsung. I ordered a Samsung TV (4K UHD JU6400 Series Smart TV - 60") from Samsung.com on Black Friday (11/27/2015) for my Dad as a Christmas gift for $953.99 (with tax). Until now all I keep getting is the run around from Samsung support and I still haven't received the item I paid for. As of 02/07/2016, it has been 73 days since I placed my order and made my purchase. When I purchased the product from Samsung.com it wasn't listed as out of stock but a week or 2 later I received an email stating the product is on backorder. I called the Samsung customer service number and each time I had to call they make you wait 40 minutes before someone answers the line. Each time I call they give me a new date either a week or 2 away when it will be delivered, but it never does. When they mentioned it was on backorder I checked other electronic stores for that model of TV and they were also out of stock. In January, I noticed all the electronics stores have the product back in stock expect for Samsung. This means they restocked all their business wholesalers and ignored their direct-to-consumer purchases. This is very unprofessional, frustrating, and has me waiting months until my order is honored. I keep asking to speak with a manager and each time they mention there is no manager there today and they will leave a note for them to reach out to me. A manager should always be onsite during work hours unless someone else has the authority to make decision rather than spewing out prewritten responses. I have supposedly left 4 notes to speak with a manager and until now not even an email or call from anyone at Samsung. I even suggested to them a potential solution to expedite my order which was to ask them if they had the TV (4K UHD JU7090 Series Smart TV - 60") in stock and they mentioned they did. The TV is listed at $999.99 which I mentioned I was willing to pay in order to have a product arrive earlier rather than waiting for a backordered one. Since no manager was onsite no one could approve this and still haven't received any response from anyone at Samsung even though they mentioned the manager would get back to me in 24 hours. I placed 2 reviews on the Samsung site that were never published on the Samsung site only the 2 default glowing recommendation reviews show up that an employee probably entered their selves on the site. This is false advertising because it looks like every product on their site has glowing reviews when in reality they are posting their own reviews or excluding any negative reviews from real customers. I believe they are just waiting for customers to cancel their orders because the price of the TV has gone up to $1,699.99 since the purchase so they can save $700. I spoke with Devin an online sales rep from Samsung and he mentioned they have the product in stock and they can ship it out within 3-5 business days. I took a screen shot of the communication and attached it as a document. As a long time Samsung user (galaxy s1, s3, tab, and s5 active) I was wrong in thinking Samsung would take into account customer loyality when I had an issue. About 3 weeks ago my s5 active started to have problems out of no where (no drops, no water damage). I took it to the At&t store and the technichian confirmed this but said that sadly there wasn't anything he could do for me. But he did give me the number for Samsung support and suggested I give them a call. The customer service rep was rude and unhelpful. On the phone she kept suggesting water damage after I had told her this was not the case and it had been confirmed by a licensed tech from At&t. Finally she told me I could send in my phone to be evaluated but since my warranty was expired that I would have to pay for any repairs. Upon doing research I am not alone in the issues my phone has been having and I think it is ridicuouls that Samsung isn't stepping up to the plate to repair the phones. We are talking about a phone that is a year and a half old, which when you consider the phone is $500+ they would stand behind it. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be going back to a Samsung any time soon. I can't tolerate when businesses don't stand behind the products they make and sell. Boo on you Samsung. read more
