Stumbled across this gem of a place! Smog prices are fantastic - best in hollister, no pass no pay. They accept walk ins and are very quick and kind! They'll smog anything you need done - gas, diesel, RVs. Etc. prices may vary but average is about $50 (depending on year, model, etc). They offer free beverages in the lobby, and have beautiful skylines parked in the bay. I will be sending all family, friends, and every vehicle of mine to this shop. They've only been here for about 6 months, show them some love!! Thank you San Benito Smog!!

When searching for a smog check near me, very few showed up. All but one was open on Sundays. Since Sunday is the only day I got off to actually get my errands done, it was very convenient to go to them. Great service, and very polite individuals. 10/10 read more

Just stopped by to see if I could get my smog done today. The young man was very nice and said it would be a few minutes and he could take my truck in. He said I could sit in the waiting room and that coffee and water was available. Very clean and nice comfy seats to watch the TV. It was warm as well. Itvtruly was just a few minutes then my turn. A few minutes later my truck was done. Very nice and quick. Professional. I would highly recommend this business and Carlos for any needing smog done! read more

Carlos is amazing! He is friendly, and accommodating. Prices are fair, service and speed both excellent. Needed a smog suddenly when DMV hadn't notified me it was required this renewal and received the notice instead of my tags. He got me in immediately and this significantly relieved my stress. There are a bunch of other reviews that are just as glowing, but yelp has blocked them/determined they were not recommended do some unknown reason which doesn't seem fair. This place and Carlos are highly recommended. read more

Rudely said, "You gotta go to the referee". At home we crawled underneath the truck and simply wiped away the road grime to EASILY see the numbers. Then we had to go through the time and expense of the state referee AND another smog at another shop which we passed with flying colors. I called the shop to ask if the owner was available and Steve immediately hung up on me before I even said why I was calling. It's a shame because the old owners were great and ran a wonderful business. Update- thank you for reaching out and for the refund. We appreciate that you took the time to rectify the situation.

Their own paperwork admitted the cooling system only lost 1 psi in 15 minutes and that they couldn't actually find a leak. I got a second opinion at a dealership. The real problem was just the radiator cap -- the worn cap couldn't hold pressure, so the coolant was boiling over and escaping. About $100 to replace, and the car has run perfectly ever since. The cap was even listed on their own quote (a $26 part), but instead of trying the cheap fix first, they pushed a $1,500 radiator job. Either they couldn't diagnose a basic cooling issue or they were counting on me not getting a second opinion. Get your quote checked elsewhere before paying these guys.
