The pricing is fair, and it's worth asking if they have any coupons available; I've been able to use one each time I've visited, making it an even better value. All of these places are handing out $30/$40 off coupons because they literally just plug a scanner in to the OBD II port and stick a mirror under the car to look for holes. They know that's not even close to $70 worth of work but they still charge for things they used to do once upon a time. Thank goodness the CAN bus has such tight security on it so there's absolutely no way anyone could possibly rig up a microcontroller that tricks the scanner with bogus packets. It's not any individual shop's fault that the government is completely inept but they should all be adjusting their prices to reflect the reality that they no longer do anything but scan bar codes and push buttons on computers that do not require regular calibration or certification.

He said it would be about 20 minutes.. Then I noticed a sign on the building showing cash, Venmo Zelle and other forms of payment besides credit card so I asked the attendant if they accept credit card to which and he gave me a very rude response. He kind of threw the other coupon at me telling me that that doesn't belong to him, and there was also a receipt I guess in the envelope from our Gardener that he also kind of shoved at me. I'm not sure why these two items in the envelope upset him so much since the envelope was mine to begin with, but it set him off and I was sent away to get my smog check elsewhere. I asked why he was giving me such a hard time and he wouldn't even answer me just told me to go somewhere else and said some unfriendly choice words towards me. The whole interaction was very strange and awkward. I'm not even sure exactly what happened to set him off. I can't help but think that me being female had something to do with it.
