I've used this place a few times for dry cleaning without issues, so I recently brought in my daughter's jeans to have them hemmed. From the start, his attitude made it seem like he didn't want the business. When I asked if he could measure the jeans, he told me to take them home, measure them myself, and come back. WTH!!! I had two pair of pants dry cleaned for $4.55 each. I was also going to dry clean a bridesmaid dress for my girlfriend as there were stains left over, but he recommended that I try washing at home first as the material was machine wash safe. He also gave left me with some tips cleaning out the stains. I dropped off my clothes Monday evening and received them Thursday evening (3 day turnaround time). This is the only place I will go to get my clothes dry-cleaned. One time I tried another place closed by and I still saw the same stains! I've gotten my coat dry-cleaned here, blouses, and dresses. I've also had a dress altered here. The man behind the counter is very nice. He's also very honest and even though my vietnamese is bad he understands me and still gives me good service. I have been going to San Felipe Cleaners for many many years since I was young. I use their alteration services and I have never been disappointed or felt that I paid an unfair price. I used to get prom dresses altered, pants taken in, etc. with success and quality every time. Today I stopped by to bring in some pants on which the clasps had broken off, instead of being encouraged to leave my pants there I was given the clasps free of charge and was told that I may be able to fix it myself. I found that this place is the closest to my house so I gave it a try. I took my blazer and my coat to dry clean and just picked up today. All stains are removed and I'm very satisfied with the service. The owner was nice and he did a really great job!!! I find it hard to believe there can be any reviews for San Felipe that aren't 5 stars. I haven been going to dry cleaner about once every two weeks for the last 15 years. I've seen good and bad. I must say that this place is the best I have ever been to. The owner is so nice and really goes the extra mile. When my wife was pregnant he helped her to the car with the clothes, he's called me to let me know my clothes arrived early. I lived in Evergreen for about 4 1/2 and just recently moved to another part of town. This is one of the merchants and places I'll miss the most. I forgot to mentioned, soon after I reported himt to the Better Buisness Bureau and attempted to take him to small claims court. He then tried to destroy my character to discredit my experience with his service. And sent me a letter from his "lawyer" threatening me with countersuits. He also claimed that he sent my clothes to another cleaners that he is affiliated with to do the job which ruined my shirts. Very strange as if he was that busy. Funny man. At the end, I never followed through with my case at small claims, it's too much of a headache and burden on me, even though I was sooooo distraught over my shirts! lol Venting my experience on here will do. read more

My family and I have used this place for a very long time. Aside from all the negative reviews I have read, I can attest to the fact that they do quality work. It has come to the point that all I need to do is walk in and tell them what I need done and when I need it by. No receipt needed, because they know my last name and who I am. It's awesome.
