This Aborn Cleaners is now officially my go to place for alterations! A couple of months ago I brought in a dress to have shortened..and it came out perfect. Last week I dropped off a jumpsuit for the same treatment..and once again the results were flawless. As someone who's short..finding a reliable spot to alter my clothes has been such a relief. First time going here and had a horrible experience. I dropped off 5 men's dress shirts and two men's suits. When I asked how much for the shirts she said $4.50. I then told her that I wasn't looking for dry cleaning on them, just launder and press. She said $4.50 again. After trying to explain once again, she said $3.50. Went three days later to pick up when she told me they'd be ready and had to wait 5 minutes while a different lady wrapped everything up. Got a call two hours later that they mixed up one of my shirts with a different customer's. Had to go back to get it straightened out. Finally got home and took the plastic off. My shirts weren't pressed at all. Totally wrinkled and hung on hangers. They would've looked better straight out of my dryer. Worst experience I've ever had with a dry cleaner. read more

I went back for a 2nd time for a dress on a Friday afternoon. Requested for it to be done by Tuesday and she said she could do it! I called Monday asking if my order would be done by Tuesday. She said to stop by after 1 pm on Tuesday. I also tried to call on Tuesday to confirm again but no one answer. I decided to head there anyways. She's looking for my dress. Then asked if it was dry cleaning. I said it was an alteration. Then she shows me this white garment that was not a dress. Then she calls someone and asked me what color it was. She said to come back by 5 pm but I was unable to. I called the next morning to ask if it was done and she said yes. I went back and she's having trouble finding my dress again. I'm getting nervous because this is for a bridal party. Then she made a call and found my dress. Upon payment, I asked if I could get a discount since I had to drive roundtrip on Tuesday for my dress to not be ready. She just stared... I paid my original quote and left. Good value but I was highly disappointed in the customer service this time around. read more

My family has been frequenting this cleaners for a few years. I'm really upset to leave this review but feel as though I have no other choice as the owner refuses to help us resolve this issue. My dad (finally splurged, lol) and bought a new suit for my wedding. After the wedding, he took this suit to this dry cleaner and received a different suit back. (We have pictures of my dad's suit.. and the suit she forced him to take home is completely different.) My parents tried to tell her that the suit is different, even pointing out the differences between my dad's original suit and the one the lady gave him. The owner insisted repeatedly that the suit is the same. When my dad called again to try to resolve the issue, the owner kept insisting she was right. The owner claimed that she remembers the exact brand name of my dad's suit.. but she must have forgotten the cut, material, color, and all the other details of the suit. The suit she forced on him was completely different. It's upsetting that my dad is now out of an expensive suit, but I am SUPER sentimental and pretty upset that the suit he wore to my wedding is now lost..and that the owner feels no remorse and has ignored our attempts to try and find our suit. I hate leaving this review, but please read my review and think twice before taking anything important or of high value or sentimental value here. read more

I personally got Hang helped me with in alteration and dry cleaning. They do a great job here and reasonable pricing compare to other places. They are always on time and super friendly if you you speak my native language Vietnamese. They also offer fixing thing in the same day service for a higher fee. A lot of my friends asked me where I get my clothes fix, I rarely give this out because I'm afraid they will be too busy for me ;) (Julie K. Here is your place)! I needed to get a dress altered for a wedding. I decided on this place but it was close by and convenient. It's a small place but a lot of people were going in and out so I thought it was a good sign. I informed the woman working that I needed my dress to be shorter and to take it in around the chest area. She pinned it and told me that it will be ready after a week. I deducted two stars because after I picked up my dress I went home to try it on. I noticed she was able to fix the length of my dress but the pin was still attached! I felt like I wasted $65 for something I didn't get and it was a couple days before my trip so I didn't have time to go back and get it fixed. read more

Still one of the best alteration services on this area for sure. I brought in my dress on Thursday evening and asked her if she can have it alert by Saturday morning and she said yes! This is the second time I came to her very last minute and she was really nice and accommodating. Service was quick and like the previous time it was phenomenal. I never write bad think to any business this my first time...im talking my jacket and two-shirt for dry clean.... when they pick it up one shirt missing the give me different shirt... I told her that's shirt i I have to wear to my friend wedding... She say can you wear something else I told her all that the only shirt bring back from New York my friend wedding... I have nothing to wear... does a Bulberry shirt I bought over 350$ Then she told me oh how she sue my shirt real or fake ...new or old. .. Chi Hang has the best customer services and skills. We always go to her for our suits and dresses. She does an outstanding job with reasonable prices. I would recommend anyone to go to Hang. Our wedding is better with her help! She can always measure your sizes for reasonable price if you want to send your measurements to somewhere to tailor. I've been going to the Aborn cleaners for the last 8 years and I am very happy with the service I've received over the years. I'd been having my clothes dry cleaned at different places before I found this place. I'm very typical when it comes to dry clean my clothes. It has to be done a certain way - shirt and pants are nicely done and can't be too crisp. I've got that and I can't complain about the prices either. I never experienced any problems at all. I get to know the owner real well and we are just like friends now. She's fun to talk to and very down to earth. Highly recommend it read more

It upsets me how this place has a skewed rating . They have horrible service and ruined my expensive coat. What is worst is that when I told them there are stains, they denied it and said it was my fault. I will never go back. Go somewhere else unless you want destroyed clothes. read more

I'm so upset with this place that I had to ask someone to post on Yelp because I don't have an acct... seriously bad service. Just because you acknowledge that I am Vietnamese and (oh, so are you), doesn't allow you to right to give me bad service. I asked to alter 6 dress shirts (no biggie for a professional) yet they've had my shirts for over a week! on top of that when I went to pick them up at the designated time, I was told they forgot to send the shorts out to be washed and it'd take a few more days... when I get my shirts back (and they better be perfect for the amount of time you had them), I will NEVER go back. congrats, you've lost a client read more

After doing a yelp search I picked this place since all the alteration reviews are positive and they lived up to the recomendations. I have been taking my launder and dry cleaning to this location for 9 1/2 years. The have real good prices and have been consistent in cleaning and managing my clothes. They are fast. The Asian lady is really nice and courteous and is good with math she adds up my charges without calculator. I have double checked her calculations and each and every time she is right on. read more

I went here to get my SUIT altered, that lady really does know her stuff! Her craftsmanship is fantastic and the cost is quite affordable. I later came back to hem/taper some pants and she said that if I can occupy myself for an hour then she'll have them back to me.
