Truly, the worst exterior painters I've ever hired, and I've owned my home since 1996…read more First, when they quote you, it's only for one coat. There isn't a professional painter in the world who would ever do less than primer+2, and when you ask about it, they agree "of course that's best practice" and add on another $2,000. This kind of thing happened several times - services any other painter would do automatically were not included ("oh, we aren't gonna move pots and stuff off your deck before we paint it, you have to pay extra"), I flagged it, and they added more and more onto the quote. Eventually my $2500 quote blew up to $6500++. The best part was after I paid extra for them to move plants etc on the deck, the workers refused to move them. Three different times. They said "it's too heavy"; I suggested oh I don't know A DOLLY and they told me that would be an additional equipment cost (which, silly me, I assumed was INCLUDED in the $1000 !!! "Moving plant-pots" fee I already paid." When they painted the deck, they just power washed it, instead of actually sanding and prepping the surface. Then they just rolled the paint on the top, and completely ignored the space between the boards, where decks rot. I called them back to fix it. When they had the scaffolding removed the next day, the deck paint peeled right off: not from equipment scrapes, but from guys simply walking on it. I called them back again to fix it, and they said it was my fault for having the scaffolding guys remove the scaffolding so soon. I reminded them that I did not schedule the removal, they did. Three days later, the deck paint was coming off again in huge chunks. I called them back again to fix it a third time. After that, I checked and the spaces between the boards (big ones too) were STILL unpainted. Around this time I realized that they had painted the shingles at the (high and hard too see) roof the wrong color, too. They were given a color rendering of what colors went where in the very beginning, and they blew it. The deck is a disaster again, and I finally gave up on them and repainted it myself with their paint. Then I googled the paint. (Wait for it): They used an INTERIOR FLOOR PAINT (armorseal treadplex, made for concrete warehouse floors) on my exterior wooden deck!! I feel terrible posting such a negative review, but I do it in the hope that it will inspire this company to improve. In the meantime, my fellow homeowner, I hope this info saves you $7,500 and months of headaches.

This included another overall painting of the buildings and parking area (Also did prior painting.). Another job was the rebuild of a recology bin fencing. A combo of two jobs included the replacement of a vehicle security gate motor box; and the driveway asphalt removal with tile stone replacement. Commercial and condo properties should check with the City Planning Dept for any compliances regarding driveways and tile stones. The finished work speaks for itself. Having worked with Jay before, seeing the same crew members, and going by the posted pics and one home's appraisal value, Supethome is a company folks should consider for home and homeowner association projects. Byron came by and put together a competitive bid that covered everything I asked for. His crew power washed, scraped, sanded and primed all the trim before applying two coats of finish paint. I appreciate that they rolled and back-brushed everything to provide consistent coverage. You can look at the job and see that it will last for years. Byron also power washed my deck cabinets, took all the doors off, sanded everything then applied a stain and two coats of marine varnish. What looked like worn, beat-up cabinets now look like new...maybe even better. As well as doing a great job, I found Byron a pleasure to work with. His crew was hard working and took care to protect the plants and landscaping around the house.
