Seafood Soup - Caldo de Mariscos
    Karen V.

So today my mom and I went to get lunch here to try it out. We arrived around 12pm and we were waiting for at least 5 mins and there weren't any customers. There was one woman who was grabbing ice but had her coat and hoodie up. We nicely asked if they were open. She said in Spanish, "yea". That's it. So we sat down and waited a couple more minutes to be served. She never greeted or said anything and just stood there. We said our order and left. Then another worker came around and they both were just talking and she was on her phone. We heard talking about what we had ordered but didn't hear exactly what was said. It was just quiet and awkward there. I went to the restroom and there was dead ROACH in the restroom. I wish I would've taken my phone and forgot to go back. We thought maybe the food would be okay.... It got worse because a few more minutes went by and the server got on a phone call on LOUD SPEAKER!!! She continued to talk on the phone on loud speaker the entire time. EVEN when SHE CAME GIVE US OUR FOOD. She never saw her wash her hands in between using her phone and handing our food. We were so SHOCKED because I can't imagine the amounts of germ and bacteria on her phone. We could still hear her entire phone conversations which just made us uncomfortable. The food was okay maybe like a 4/10 but it wasn't to die for. We both got the seafood soup. Everything was just MEH. The vibes were just weird and the server was not nice whatsoever.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner tonight. The restaurant was empty and the TV was on so loud you could barely talk. When we were seated we asked the server if they had margaritas,he said yes and I asked if it came out of machine. He said, no we make them. We ordered two margaritas and a woman showed up at our table with two glasses of a frozen machine mix. It tasted very artificial and when we asked the server if they could not make a margarita he said they had no tequila. At that point we decided to leave and go to another restaurant so cannot comment as to the food.

This is a hidden gem. Very authentic. Had the chicken tacos and they were amazing. Then salsas are very very good. Staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place. Reminds me of California.

    Yummy prices

Was looking for a decent, authentic place to eat in the West side. Found this place on yelp. Hole in the wall place. Really good food- got the burrito and my friends got the #28 on the menu (Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo)- both were very good! As a plus, the place is small, clean, plays raggatone music, and the server was really nice. Will definitely come again ...

Fantastic authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. This place is a well kept secret. Never a wait!

This is the 4th or 5th Mexican food restaurant I've tried in Cincinnati. This is definitely the best so far. The food is fairly priced and the portions are plentiful! Reminds me of the authentic Mexican food one can find back home (Chicago).

Tres leeches is amazing in general but it's super fantastic with strawberries!

It was so substantial that I only made it through half. I enjoyed it with chorizo, but for a modest surcharge, they will make it with brisket! The Al Pastor Hash was the standout. It was beautifully balanced, full of bold, authentic flavors, and expertly prepared. One of my brunch-mates spends much of the year traveling through Latin America, and he was genuinely impressed. Excellent food, generous portions, and a memorable brunch experience. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu! Attentive service and a beautiful location in Downtown Cincinnati's quiet Pendleton neighborhood made the morning perfect.

We had the queso which is not your average. Its thick cheesy texture tucks inside of a small tortilla. So, not your typical chips and queso . The addition of a roasted jalapeno was brilliant! We split an order of beef tacos, and had the street corn( the exact menu name fails me). It was some of the best I've had. Fun place with a delightful vibe and top notch food and service.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Some things are out of your control, but still I would've enjoyed my food more if I could have sat and ate it. This place feels a little light a hole in the wall in downtown Cincinnati. It does not have lots of tables, it is unassuming on the outside, and the menu is simple. We were drawn to it, even with the long lines because of all of the game goers. Considering its size and the line, we did not wait an unreasonable amount of time to order and then receive our food. Everyone orders at the counter so you have to go through one at a time and wait for everyone before you to decide their orders. The food is then called out and you have to go get it. This system probably helped our situation and made things move faster. I got their signature turtle, which is basically a large crunch wrap, with chicken served southwest style. It was awesome but very large! We were going out after and did not want to carry leftover boxes, so I ate it all and kind of regretted it after. But I simply could not stop cause the food was so good! The prices are also fair and they have plenty of beer and cocktails to offer from their bar. I would love to come back here on a quieter night so we can sit and enjoy the food wholly, perhaps with a beverage as well.

Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
