Carlos D. was our bartender! He's was amazing, Friendly, and put up with my very vocal friend. He kept his composure with all the distractions during World Cup. Excellent service from start to finish, attentive, personable, and made our night even more enjoyable. We will be coming back. Thanks Carols D.

I was looking for a close by bar to go to before a game at the SAP center and found SP2 within walking distance. I arrived right as they opened up and was greeted fast by the bartender and served my drink fast. Two drinks came out to $50 with tip so it's pretty overly expensive. For the environment, there's no place to have an actual conversation. The music was blaring from every corner. Maybe I'm just not the right clientele but I would not come back due to the pricing and music level.

They take care of us there, we always have a good time we don't go to any other place in downtown SJ when it's time rock.

Came here for a Labubu brunch, it was fun and the food was okay, nothing really wow'ed me about the food we got which was the Benedict's. it took a long while to have our order taken though. I don't know if that was because of the Labubu event. Good spot for social time with your friends I guess.

We ordered everything and it was all so delicious! We will be back to order our favorites especially the fall off the bone ribs!

This was my first time here and I visited during the Super Bowl so I'm not sure if it's usually this packed. We waited in line for an hour and were told the entrance fee was $15 by the time we got to the front the entrance fee had gone up to $25 our friend who joined us later entered at $40. I'm assuming this was due to the event. There is a dress code I would look up before going. Staff was friendly and security took their job very seriously. I had ordered the fries which came out quickly despite there being a lot of people. Overall it was a fun time and I would check them out again maybe not during a popular event.

Right downtown, it's such a cute place. There's a parking garage behind it, or you can find street parking. It's right next to the San Pedro Square Market. It has such a cute vibe. Outdoor seating and a bar outside as well. We got there when they opened for brunch so it was pretty empty. Nice and spacious inside. Plenty of bar seating too. The bathrooms were pretty clean, although I found it weird that the mens bathroom was wide open and I could see the urinals as I came out of the bathroom. Don't really want to see someones ass on my way back to my table. Maybe it was just because it was too early that they had the door open. Who knows. The plates are way bigger than I thought they'd be. I loved the mini muffins they gave us when we got their. The michelada was good! Service was good. I think I'll come back to try their dinners.

SP2 is tucked away on the back side of San Pedro Square. Parking is easy in the garage a block away. We came here for a Sunday afternoon brunch. It wasn't crowded at all. Positives: We were greeted by the host who sat us at a table where I could see into the kitchen (I love watching the cooks, so I was in my happy place). We were served 2 little mini-muffins immediately, which was a nice way to start our experience. The food: we had the Garlic-Rosemary Tri-Tip Sandwich. It came with pickled vegetables, chili aioli, caramelized onions, and muenster cheese. The bread was crunchy, and the combination of flavors from the pickled veg, cheese, and aoli with the beef made this sandwich a winner. It came with well-salted fries. We also tried the Pork Belly Breakfast Sandwich: a colossal English muffin, hoisin-glazed pork belly, baked egg (a whopping 3 eggs...this sandwich was huge), white cheddar, pickled veggies, chili aioli, and home fries. The sandwich was substantial, and the hoisin glaze gave the pork belly a nice sweet & salty flavor. The service here was great. Negatives: The home fries that came with the Breakfast Sandwich were a bit bland and could have benefited from more seasoning. Atmosphere: My only critique was that the music was rather loud both inside and outside, which for us was slightly annoying as we were trying to have a conversation. Just a notch or two lower would have been great. Overall, I would come back again. I'm eying the Fried Chicken with hot honey. That's on my list for next time.

This is such a great location--the aesthetic is great with a very cute inside area and massive outside area too. The food and drinks were all delicious. The oysters came with hot sauce without asking which I appreciate, and the fries were so crispy!! Coleson was our host and server and did a great job with his customer service. He was very friendly and had a great attitude and checked on us often. We enjoyed coming here and will be back!

Came on a Friday night around 7 with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. We had a reservation but didn't really need it and were seated quickly. Our waitress was really nice and took our order pretty soon after we were seated. I shared the calamari pizza which was an unexpected favorite! It had vodka sauce and cheese with calamari on top and I would definitely order it again. Not something I would have thought would be as good as it was but I'd highly recommend it. Other things ordered at our table were the kaarage chicken sandwich, some French fries, Brussels sprouts, and another pizza (Hobbs maybe?). Everything was really delicious !

went here for dinner before going to miniboss for a few drinks. my group of three decided on getting 4 appetizers to share amongst each other. st louis style short ribs (soy ginger glaze) - very meaty but a tad on the salty side fried brussels sprouts - very delicious, i was surprised calamari - decent calamari, not the best chicken wings - fish sauce - it was ok, this too was on the salty side menu is pretty limited which i was surprised about. the menu does not match up with the menu on their site. i always look at the menu beforehand to know what i want ... but nothing on the site was available at the restaurant. very disappointing. had i known, i probably would not have come.

Here is a Man, who called me "disgusting" to get me to leave.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

Even with a baby in tow, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, bringing hot water super quickly for warming a bottle and carefully selecting seating that accommodated our stroller. The menu is relatively small, but also very diverse with a variety of protein options and some vegetarian selections. Since it's served tapas/family style, you get to try a ton of the menu. Everything we had was delicious and very balanced. Even with a super low spice tolerance, the heat in all the dishes was not just tolerable, but even delicious. I think the dish I'd most recommend is the pork shank. Everything about it was super surprising and incredibly delicious. It literally fell off the bone and had a ton of texture with a melty, tender inside and a sticky, crunchy exterior. I would eat just this for a whole meal! Despite my own dislike for goat, even the goat empanadas were good and managed to convince me I don't actually hate all goat meat! Much like the menu, the ambiance is perfectly balanced, perfect for a romantic date night, a business meeting and even for a friend/family dinner. I'd highly recommend Valley Goat for anyone, for any occasion.

His group absolutely loved the goat empanadas, the disco fries, and the pork shank. My sister and BIL were in town again in mid-July so I made a reservation on OpenTable (easy with one week in advance). We were seated at one of the booths and service was... a little odd. We never got a "Welcome to Valley Goat, have you been here before?" or any explanation about the menu. We sort of knew what to order because of my BIL but it was notably weird. Service that day was impersonal and the main reason why I've downgraded one star. BIL said that he had better service with the bachelor party in March - the server back then had thoroughly explained the menu and was great about everything until things got a bit busier later and they had to wait a long time for the check. However, despite the weird service, the food was so good that I brought some of my local friends the following weekend - and this time, we did not make a reservation and decided to walk in and sit at the bar. Big shout out to Jonathan, Roy, Erica and Nick who took good care of us at the bar! At one point in our meal, they noticed we were waiting for our last two dishes for a while and I overheard them talking about going to check on those plates, and sure enough they appeared shortly after. We never waited long after drinks were finished before they checked in if we wanted anything else. Food: Disco fries ($25) were fire - loved the combination of savory / creamy / pickled items. Would definitely order again. Sticky pork shank ($59) - the number one reason I wanted to bring my friends here because I knew they would be as impressed as I was. With the $59 price tag, it's a little hefty but absolutely worth it. Meat slides right off the bones, sauces are fantastic, pickled cucumber salad and pluot salad add a nice counterbalance to the meat... the only thing I would like more of is the lettuce pieces so I can make my own lettuce wraps! Chickpea fritters ($21) - one of my faves other than the pork shank. Loved the crisp textures and flavors. Goat empanadas ($20) - delicious and one of my BIL's favorite dishes. That limey huacatay sauce appears on several menu items and stands out each time - can't go wrong with it! Less impressive: sautéed green beans ($20) were not worth the money and were too salty, and the kalbi ($45) was fine and didn't stand out like the other dishes. Sort of a run-of-the-mill kalbi. Drinks: drinks were definitely on the pricier side but all very tasty! I was actually most impressed by one of their mocktails - the Temple Fizz ($16). Mocktails are weird in that some bars will increase the price to an unreasonable amount, but I think it's genuinely deserved here. The Temple Fizz had complex notes that had me sipping like I would any other cocktail, rather than guzzling it down like a soda. Jonathan mentioned that their mocktails are super popular as well, and I think that speaks strongly to their mocktail selection. Overall, I would keep coming back and sitting at the bar. Food and drinks are fantastic!

Hammered the protein and drenched in oil...? Do not get. - chicken: large portion and maybe the best bang for buck when feeding large parties. it was ok. No wonder they closed shortly after. I get the high rent given Santana Row pricing but do a little better when hiring service staff.
