Forms/waivers, sending deposit, setting an appointment date, etc. were all painless processes. AND ALSO you cannot beat the vibes. The tattoo chair is comfy, there's musicals on in the background, snacks are available, and everyone is chatting and having a good time :D Jenny is a wonderful artist and one-of-a-kind. Her masterful artistry is evidenced by not only my satisfaction with her work- I've received numerous compliments from friends, family, and sometimes total strangers! Jenny has only given me the best treatment with each visit. I've got a story that's a testament to Jenny's patience and kindness... Minutes after showing up for my first tattoo appointment, I received a phone call about a medical emergency- my father had been stung by 50 hornets at his work and was being hauled away by an ambulance. Jenny told me to GTFO and be with my family! She appropriately responded to the situation swiftly and rescheduled me ASAP without penalty. Mezzanine Tattoo Studio is on a main street in San Pedro, so there's plenty of parking on numbered side streets like 10th and 11th. It's a private studio but it's not hard to find. If you like all things anime, cute, (otaku?), and colorful Jenny does not disappoint!

He's knowledgeable, clean, and makes the whole experience comfortable every time. Unfortunately, the overall customer service has been disappointing. When inquiring about flash tattoo sizes, the responses -- especially from whoever runs the Instagram account -- came off unprofessional and unnecessarily sarcastic. It's frustrating to feel dismissed when you're a loyal customer who has spent money here and made several referrals. Joel and Iran are the ones creating positive experiences. Without them, I wouldn't consider returning.

Located in DTLB off of Broadway and Linden, I was lucky to find a metered spot on Linden right around the corner. I was warmly greeted by one of the tattoo artists and she allowed me to visit with my friend. I only stayed 30 min and my friend sent me a pic of her tattoo and the artist did amazing work! I believe my friend said she was there from noon til the time she sent me the pic which was around 6pm (of course with breaks).
