Have gotten 2 tattoos by Jenny over the last 2 years, and have had an amazing experience both times. Scheduling: very accommodating, everything is done via website, let her know what you want and then schedule it with her once she sends you a message. For both tattoos, I gave her an idea of what I wanted for each of them and then let her have a go at it (I'm no artist, I trust the professionals.) The actual studio is easy to get to, is clean and honestly the most fun I've had getting artwork done. Everyone there is so friendly and so fun to be around. Due to a loss in my family and then a medical event happening to me, my appointment had to be postponed twice but she was so understanding of my situation and was willing to work with me. My condition currently left me unable to access the studio (which I hope I am able to some day, the place looks so cool!) but she was able to guest at her previous place in order for me to get my tattoo. I am incredibly grateful for that. As for the actual tattoo experience itself, I can't say enough good things! Jackie was so sweet& kind and always checked in on me during the tattoo to see how I was doing, and gave me plenty of breaks to sit up and stretch. I found this place when I was searching high and low for the perfect artist to tattoo a beloved Legend of Mana character! My artist was Jenny - she's so kind and sweet. She helped me set my appointment up, and the wait (at the time only a few months) isn't too bad for an artist as talented and professional as her! The things about the studio that stood out to me the most is each of the artists hype each other up (not surprising, the other artists have lovely work there too that you can check out on social media!), and each of them ARE SO KIND. Plus the studio is adorbs and they had snacks! My tattoo session with Jenny was a great experience. Parking is street only and fairly easy to find. The studio is located on the second floor. Make sure you have an appointment as they don't take walk-ins and are appointment only; this is important to know as you'll need to be buzzed in to the building. When you get to the call box, scroll through the directory till you see Mezzanine, dial the number, and then say your name + tattoo artist when someone answers. You'll get buzzed in, go up the stairs, and enter the first door on your right. The studio is intimate and fits all 3 stations really well; Jenny tattoos in the front half of the studio while Jessy and Mickey tattoo in the back half. If you prefer to bring a +1 to your appointment, there's a small seating area in the front, but also some folding chairs for +1's in the back. There's exposed brick giving an industrial feel, a bookshelf in the waiting area with candy/decorations, and plenty of the artist's personalities displayed at their stations. Oh, and there's a restroom down the hall, should you need it. I've gotten tattooed by Jenny and Mickey. Both of them are amazing angels. Jenny is great with color and is strong in anime/cartoon designs. Her technique is light, colors are saturated, and execution is flawless. The 3 tattoos I have from her -- Little Prince, Snorlax, and Nidorina -- have healed well and are aging nicely. I've been getting tattooed by Jenny since 2020 and have never had any issues with her or her work. Mickey is also great with color and solid with anime/cartoon concepts, as well as traditional designs. Her technique is also light, she has ridiculously solid line work, and great color palettes. I currently have 2 tattoos from her -- a forgetful goldfish and an "investi-gator" -- and they've been healing well. I just started going to Mickey in 2022, but already have a few appointments booked for 2023, so I'm definitely coming back! I need to complete the trifecta and get tattooed by Jessy someday, but rest assured that Jessy is just as amazing. She also works well with color and shines with her floral/illustrative designs. So far I've visited the studio twice, but have known the artists for a few years now, and can confirm that you should absolutely get tattooed here. All the artists are amazing in color tattoos, but can also execute black/grey. The studio is clean, organized, and has a great vibe. As far as pricing goes, make sure you inquire with your artist so you can plan accordingly if finances are of concern. I love this studio so much, lol. Jessy, Jenny, and Mickey are amazing tattoo artists and people. I highly recommend Mezzanine for anyone who wants beautiful, timeless art. I cannot say enough good things about Mezzanine!! Jackie has been my go-to artist for 5 years now, and I have so many amazing pieces from her. This is long past due. What can I say about this studio. I've been to many studios both big and small and I can say that Mezzanine was one of the most comfortable studios I have been to. The artist I worked with was Mickey who I met at Outer Limits. She worked on two pieces on my feet: the Disney characters of Hey Hey and Pua for my oldest daughter who loves Moana when she was young. I reached out to Mickey and was contacted by Jenny who scheduled the appointment. Jenny was very professional and welcoming when we coordinated the appointment date and time. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by Jessy D outside who also was very friendly. She did a wonderful Kung Fu Panda on another client at the same time I was getting my ink. Then I finally met Mickey. She was so outgoing and warm that it felt that we were long time homies. She really took the time, care and love to make sure the two master pieces fit perfectly on my feet. I don't know if the studio made me really comfortable or I have a high tolerance for pain. But it felt like the whole process was a breeze. I really felt bad because my toe nails were a little long but Mickey didn't say anything about it. Again, she really knew how to make me feel comfortable while she continuously stabbed me with ink. I loved my experience there. I really love how my two pieces turned out. My daughter loved them so much that she said she will get tattoos of her own. I should probably take a pic of my feet but I'm a horrible photographer. I'll stop by the studio one day for a healed photo. Anyways, I highly recommend this studio. I have to think of what other pieces I want because I can't wait to go back! When it comes to skill and passion, Jenny surpasses all artists I have ever been tattooed by. Unfortunately, I didn't get the pleasure to meet Jessy but I'm positive she is just as much of a delight as Jenny and Mickey AND her work is also phenomenal! Jenny was caring during the process, helpful & transparent. Everything was easy and fun and my jaw is still dropping from how beautiful the work is!
