He's knowledgeable, clean, and makes the whole experience comfortable every time. Unfortunately, the overall customer service has been disappointing. When inquiring about flash tattoo sizes, the responses -- especially from whoever runs the Instagram account -- came off unprofessional and unnecessarily sarcastic. It's frustrating to feel dismissed when you're a loyal customer who has spent money here and made several referrals. Joel and Iran are the ones creating positive experiences. Without them, I wouldn't consider returning.

This is the second time that I've been to the tattoo and piercing shop; the first time I went with a friend and also came in for a repiercing due to a hospitalization. I'm hoping this will be the last time that I go to this shop for a repiercing, but I will definitely come back here if I have to. Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with my piercer Joslyn and would highly recommend her for your piercing needs. Thanks again!!

I was warmly greeted by one of the tattoo artists and she allowed me to visit with my friend. I only stayed 30 min and my friend sent me a pic of her tattoo and the artist did amazing work! I believe my friend said she was there from noon til the time she sent me the pic which was around 6pm (of course with breaks).

Called and asked about a piercing I wanted to get they were very professional when they answered and had the answers I needed. Went in and was greeted and helped by Sophia who was extremely helpful. The piercing I wanted I had previously had but had complications with due to jewelry length. Sophia took the time to show me the three different sizes to make sure that I was comfortable during my swelling period. Then she left to go set up for my piercing. Then I met Mike who was very professional he was very confident and I didn't feel like he was just rushing to get me done. He informed me that because of the swelling issue which Sophia had let him know I had that the jewelry would be an extra $10 which I was fine with. This made me feel super confident that I wouldn't have any issues . Then he lined up my dots on the inside and outside of my mouth to make sure it was straight. Then he told me to lay down and once I did that it felt like it was done in a second. Didn't hurt was super quick and Mike made sure to tell Sophia (even though she was already getting ready to lol) about the after care and Sophia went through after care products and what to do even gave me an after care tear sheet to take with me that was highlighted with what to do. I will for sure come back to get any other piercings I might want in the future. Good Vibrations were for sure felt while I was in the Shop. read more

I recently visited a shop to get my 15-year-old's belly button pierced. When I called ahead, the gentleman who answered was polite but unsure if they offered piercings for 15-year-olds. Upon arriving, I spoke with David, the piercer, who was informed of my daughter's age by the front desk staff. David reacted strongly, stating it was illegal to pierce someone her age because it involved a part of the body. He mentioned that if she went to school and someone saw the piercing, it could be considered child endangerment. I was taken aback, as he claimed the law requires someone to be 16 or older for this type of piercing. I knew this wasn't accurate, as we later went to another location where it was done without issue after I signed a consent form. While I understand if their policy is not to pierce minors, I felt that accusing me of endangering my child and making false claims about the law was unnecessary. It would have been more appropriate to simply state their shop policy rather than escalate the situation with misinformation. I recommend the shop provide clearer and more accurate explanations in the future. read more

Neil has seriously changed our lives. My husband was so blessed to receive a tattoo cover up from Neil on his head that has forever changed our lives. My husband had former "affiliation" tattoos that covered his head, Neil went above and beyond to make sure that those tattoos were no longer visible. We have a young son now and we can now walk freely without fear or making sure he has on the right hat or sweatshirt to cover up what his former tattoos said. When my husband walked in the house after his session with Neil I cried. Five years we avoided certain areas for fear that something would happen. Today we walk freely, Neil thank you so much for changing our lives and for bettering the life my son will get to experience because you helped out his daddy. It's artists like this that will earn a customer for life. We will be forever grateful for the gift you have provided us. Highly recommended! read more

I've have amazing work done by both Neil and Jacob here and both times I had a great experience. Neil is very professional and really takes you and what you want done seriously. Jacob was proactive in helping me find a suitable design for my cover up .. his attention to detail with placement and size made the piece come out perfect. Known the guys for a bit now and aside from the work being spot on, there also stand up guys that will treat you with respect and make sure your comfortable. The occasional shop talk can be pretty comical too, bring a sense of humor and you'll have a good time here.... lock your car up! read more

Says it all in the name. As soon as you walk in you can feel the good vibes. Everyone that works there is friendly and kind yet they still know how to get down to business. The chill environment helped me calm my nerves and relax, considering it was my very first tattoo. They truly have some great artists and talent in that building. You can tell they know what they're doing. My artist Neal, Great at what he does, was very patient with me throughout the process. Got my nipples pierced a couple days ago and the guy who did them was extremely nice to myself and my sister who got her belly button pierced. He was super charismatic and cared about how the piercings were done, taking his time and allowing us to offer our opinions on the placement without getting upset. Went in for a new nose stud because mine was so long that it was sticking out of my nostril. I called, and it turns out they already had a stud that had been shortened and sanitized on hand. I just went in, bought it and they replaced the one I already had in a matter of minutes. Super convenient, and the staff was really friendly. read more

I take responsibility for not speaking up in the moment--that's on me--but it's still frustrating to have to spend more money to fix the issue.
