Very honest, fair, and performs high quality work (especially for hardscaping and structural items like decks, retaining walls, pavers, drainage, etc). They brought their own porta-potty, showed up early in the morning, and worked hard each day--at least eight hours, some days even more. We converted our large lawn to an orchard with 19 trees and a small "token" lawn for grandchildren's water fun. Sod had to be removed to make a new, long, decomposed granite pathway lined with bender board, irrigation systems designed and installed, stairways that had been unsafe re-designed and built, drain pipes repaired, and old drip systems repaired. Then he said he would let me know when he could start the job within a week. Well I have emailed him four times and texted him twice for 6 weeks and he does not respond to me. I have told him if he does not have time for my job could he please let me know. He has not even given me the courtesy of a response which I am very upset by considering the scale of the job I gave him six years ago and the excellent recommendation which many, many people have read and took into consideration when hiring him for the job. I have told neighbors about his company and referred him so many times over the years. I just don't understand why he has ignored my messages. it's very upsetting and I will not be recommending him further. I feel that my current job of $5000 is too small and he can't be bothered with it but he doesn't have the courtesy to tell me this, he just ignores my messages. So, I asked him for a phone number of the owner - Noe. My project started relatively small. I wanted a retaining wall done on my front yard. I called Noe. He was available to come and quote the job within a day. His quote was very reasonable. I even felt like the quote was similar to pre-pandemic prices. So I hired his team to do the work. As I watched how he manages the team - Noe was working alongside his team every day - I decided to expand my project and have my entire front yard re-done. At the end - I had a retaining wall built, with a niche for garbage bins, added concrete to expand the driveway, installed irrigation system throughout the front yard, purchased plants and had Noe's team plant it for me, added mulch everywhere, decorative stones, and had a few small jobs done on the backyard. Everything was done quickly, and without any disappointment or dissatisfaction on my end. I used to managing my previous contractors closely as they tend to screw up often, forget what needs to be done, damage what's already there, or disappear for days or weeks without prior notice. Noe had the project under control. I didn't have to manage him or his team. His team was well aware of what to do, and Noe was great at communicating with me what was done and what is left to do.
