Came here for my mom's birthday with my family, she had heard great things however it didn't fully meet our expectations. My family got the paella and it was okay, the individual paella were supposed to come with maduros and they didn't come out until like 15 minutes after starting the meal. I got the churrasco, and I realize this isn't the best place for this but it was super alright, nothing special. The service was mediocre at best, our server seemed to not really udnerstand what we ordered and at the end we got the wrong check. The location is also not ideal for the type of restaurant since it seems misplaced where it is. Also we did see tiny German cockaroaches on the windows inside near where we were which didnt make the food very appealing especially for the price of the food... Service, good but prices don't match with food. I mean, the food had a delicious flavor, in general, but the size of the plates were very small. Besides, we asked for a Caesar salad and there was no green lettuce in the plate.??????? I told the waiter there were only croutons and chicken and he , very kindly, changed it and came with the same "thing" but with the croutons in another plate. they definitely, don't know what a Caesar salad is. The place is clean, big, the lunch menu offers a $10 lunch option but chose to order tapas instead. We ordered ham croquetas. They were slightly burnt, fried in a horrible tasting oil. No chance of bechamel sauce at all. Ordered fabada which was good except expensive at $12 for a very small portion. Next was the huevos rotos. Now this was pretty awful. The cubed potatoes were some less cooked than others in the same oil as the croquetas. This oil is terrible tasting. The ham was about the cheapest jamón serrano they could use, so the whole dish was not good at all. Last, was strips of beef with onions and peppers. This was ok but by then the bad taste of the cooking oil spoiled anything else for me. The restaurant is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant but the menu is pretty much as a Cuban restaurant. We attended anniversary dinner for my grandparents at Sancho's and I must say I was impressed! Sancho's is quant Spanish style restaurant but what it lacks in size it makes up for in entertainment. The Friday night performance was outstanding. The flamenco singers were great and even went up to our table to serenade my grandparents. Needless to say grandma had a blast! The food was good, I could have eaten an entire plate for the chistorras! The only complaint of the night was that the soup came out cold. This is by far the worst restaurant I have been to. We went to eat on 1/16/2022. If I could, I would give no stars. The "Manager" was very unprofessional (THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL "leader" I have dealt with) and DO NOT really know what a Manager role is and how he should take care of customers. We made a reservation on 1/15/2022 for 12 people. The reservation was for an entire Cochinito. We had a friend visiting from Spain and we wanted to surprise her. This "Manager" made us feel very unwelcomed. The only positive thing out of the horrible experience we had was the person who took care of us. I went last night with my wife and had a great time. The meal was delicious, we had only tapas, as we wanted to try different things, they were all great. The octopus was the best, it was very tender and tasty. The sangria was strong and the flamenco show was entertaining. A table next to us was celebrating a birthday and they were having the lechoncito, a very small roasted pig that the servers then cut tableside with a plate, at the end they break the plate. The interior decoration is at the level of many restaurants in Brickell. They have a wide selection of wines and customer care is constant. Thursday is free night of wine and sangria (no matter how much you take). For our meal we ordered a seafood paella (we offer 4 -5 types of paella) and Catalan cream delicious dessert. My cousin took me there for my birthday and I loved it! Service was incredible as well as their food. We shared wine and several tapas. My favorite was the pepillo peppers stuffed with cod fish on the most exquisite sauce! You can get a cafe c/ leche at the cafeteria next door in a bigger size for less than $2. Excellent food, HOWEVER, we called in advance to inform them that it would be 6 adults and two small children When we arrived, the waiter sat us down but argued that we should have told them that we were bringing two children. He was not yelling but was very insisting that we "should have" advised which we did but apparently they misunderstood. He repeated himself 4 times till we asked him, "is there going to he a problem if we stay?" to which he finally dropped the issue. Later the table behind us cleared and the two gentlemen who cleaned the table where talking loudly about their plans after work and if they were coming to work the following day. (excessively loud) We don't need to hear their personal business. Lastly, when they came to refill our water, the waiter reached over our heads and poured the water from approximately 12 inches away from the glass causing water to splash everywhere to include on my plate. (recommendation, have them grab the glass and pour the water from pitcher directly to glass ) The environment and food for what it is, is priced right but the waiters and the employees we had encounters require much needed refinement, finesse, and etiquette training. It was very difficult for me to justify a 15% tip ($40 dollars) for the lack of good service but did so out of custom. read more

Went for lunch. The gazpacho was excellent. The tapas were not that good. Had serrano and bacalao croquettes which were mostly flour and unappetizing. The piquillos stuffed with bacalao was inundated with sauce and put into a small plate where you could not see them. We finished our soups and no one took away the plates until much later. We had no small plates for the tapas so we had to use the plates under the soup bowls. It was a little confusing. We appreciated the after dinner drink presented after the lunch with the check. As a resident of the SF Bay Area (where there are few good Spanish restaurants), I was excited to try this restaurant while visiting my (Spaniard) family in the Miami area. The restaurant is small but adequate and the staff (mostly not Spaniards, but all Spanish-speaking). I was gratified that for once I was automatically offered a Spanish menu. The staff was friendly and the food was on-point. I almost broke down crying tears of joy when I saw a leg of jamón serrano displayed prominently by the entrance. The cuisine itself is a mixture of cuisine from all over Spain. Spanish food shares some common themes while having some regional differences. I ordered the bacalao in a tomato sauce. The portions are ENORMOUS. I mean, it's almost comical. A single dinner salad would have easily fed a family of three or four. I'm a hungry man and I could only eat half of my entreé. Try the croquetas, also. Both the varieties took me straight back to the village where my family comes from. So why only three stars? The live music. It was so loud that we could not have a conversation. We hadn't all been together in many years and yet we were prevented from enjoying each other by the ear-splitting, painfully loud music. It went on and on and on and on. I think he sang for almost an hour. **It was also so loud that the waiter got three of our eight dinners wrong, probably because he couldn't hear the orders.** The music was good, too. It was traditional Spanish guitar with a dancer with castanetas. I could have been in a MUSIC VENUE (not a restaurant) back in our family's village. But this isn't a music venue, is it? It's a restaurant. Note to the owners: this is incredibly discourteous to your customers. We come to your restaurant to eat and talk, not to be forced to listen to a performance. I ate here for the first time yesterday and loved every dish we had. There were 3 of us and ordered various tapas instead of main dishes. We had the cold cut platter, the octopus, the codfish stuffed pepillo peppers (my favorite!) cod croquetas and creme brule. All were delicious and great quality. Service was also fantastic. I've been wanting to come to this restaurant for some time now and I am glad I finally made it. Got there on a Friday night but did not know I needed reservations. The hostess was very nice and explained, that even if all the tables where empty they had reservation. That if we wanted we could sit at the bar. We did, and Ruben was our waiter/bartender. Omg I went last night! The food was so delicious! Better paella than Casa Juancho. I can't wait to go again! The camarones al ajillo was the best I've ever tasted. The flamenco dancer along with the singer were great! For dessert we had Natilla a la Catalana, so good! Our waiter was Armando, he was extremely pleasant and came by several times to make sure we were good. As I walked to the restroom, after much sangria, lol, I noticed pictures hung on wall in the hall of what appeared to be the Owner with various celebrities. Upon returning to the table, I noticed the Owner and wanted to greet him and thank him for such a wonderful job however, he seemed very busy attending to the needs of all the patrons so maybe next time. The bill came in a small little treasure box and that was very unique, I like to see out of the box or out of the norm ideas, this was a nice touch. ....fancy Spanish cuisine meets West-Tami-Kendall Overall the restaurant tries to come off as a high-end establishment. One issue I had was the service. It's very difficult to enjoy your meal when you have four waiters hovering over you. The food was typical of any of the many Spanish restaurants here in Miami. The tapas are standard fare (ham, cheese, sausage, chorizo...etc.) and not really surprising. The entrees are also pretty typical. Being my first time, I went with the waiter's recommendation, the braised lamb. Usually this means braised shanks. In this case it was some sort of rib. It was very tender, but there was hardly any meat on the plate and very sinewy. I would definitely not recommend it. As a rule, I will go back at least once more and order something different for comparison's sake. The restaurant does have a great wine selection and I recommend that if you don't know wines, ask them for help. The list is extensive. For now, I give it three stars until I can go back and try other items on the menu. Which will be very soon. read more

Unfortunately you have to call ahead or be willing to wait 50 minutes if you want paella. We shared the tabla mixta and Parrillada de mariscos and were surprised by the amount of food and the presentation. The flan didn't disappoint. Tremenda caca... (big pile of pup). We paid 220 dollars for a pig the size of a guinea pig. The size did not bother me; it was the fact that it was tasteless and meatless. The arros congris (white rice cooked with black beans) it was hard (undercooked). The papas fritas were full of grease. The worst meal I ever had. Friends brought us for the Thursday night all the wine you can drink special. There are few restaurants this good on the west side of town. My wife and I shared the Grilled Seafood, it included a large portion of shrimp of various sizes, a good sized lobster cut in half. lots of mussels and clams, this portion for two was $70.00, this was very reasonable. A friend ordered the Lobster Thermidor and another the Bacalao, they were pleased as well. Go you will enjoy. read more
