The scent is just wonderful and once you get settled in your chair the staff puts a nice blanket on you and even tucks in your feet. Sweet. The sounds of the ocean and comfortable soft lighting. Add some crystals to hold and just close your eyes and relax. Two of us fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at the beach. Made me realize how much I need to actually get back to the beach. After we did some shopping - the Tree of Life scent of soap, lotion, and scrub is fantastic. Bought one of the crystals I used during the session. Even bought a cute little bee ring. The owner Ron was a great host readying is for the salt room with the saltblock foot warmer and some very good chocolate. He was very knowledgeable of the salt and provided an informative history of salt and it's health benefits. The salt room was colorful with the chroma therapy lights and soothing music not the mention the enormous collection of salt rocks. After the salt room we entered the infrared sauna which was extremely relaxing. Once again Ron had all his bases covered as there is a tv in the sauna room with speakers inside the hotbox allowing for some Netflix entertainment while things get hot. We were also provided cold waters and body wipes in the sauna room which were a refreshing touch! Lastly on our way out we looked around the boutique and found some wonderful handmade soaps at a great price as well as a salt rock necklace that had been made by a local Native American woman. I purchased a package deal for time in first their infra-red sauna, followed by their salt cave. It was epic - and also therapeutic, insanely relaxing, and happily very affordable. I will certainly be back for more of the same. I understand also that ACA will soon have a sensory float tank up and running. Apparently when you have 2 people getting a massage in the same room, the two therapists have to work in "tandem" (per my therapist). Why, I don't know. Then the owner told me after that I should've know to tell her my request when booking because full body massage means that you have to include every part of the body and that this direction is "all over their website." I have no reason to buy anything there again. Oh, and they texted the morning of the massage to push our appointment out 1.5 hours with no apology.

It was sooooo relaxing I think I could stay in there all day! When you arrive for your appointment they will give you booties to put on over your socks and a hair net for your hair. There are cubbies for your personal belongings and then they take you back. My daughter and I went together so we were in the large group room. It's so relaxing. There are reclining chairs (like beach chairs) and you can sit in them or if you want you can actually sit in the salt. The rooms floor is covered in salt and it's heated. Rhyan actually laid in it for the first part of our session. The room is so peaceful and there is salt pumped in through the air as well. They give you a blanket and bring you two incredibly warm salt stones. Rhyan used hers on her back, I placed on my lower back and one under my neck while I stretched out in the chair. I'm pretty sure within 10 min I was totally zoned out and was able to really just almost feel the tension releasing from my body. After relaxing in the salt for a while Rhyan curled up in a chair and fell asleep. We both agreed afterwards that our sinuses felt much better and we were very relaxed. We plan to make this a weekly thing before her voice lessons just to de stress and open our sinuses and our senses! You can purchase all sorts of salt lamps and goodies in the lobby, too! I picked up some outstanding peppermint lip balm that I highly recommend. It fixed my chapped lips over night!
