This would have been a four star review, and I'm happy to give Sand Pebbles another shot, but.. We ordered delivery online. My wife noted that the prices were a little high, but with the stellar reviews, I figured we'd be getting outstanding food. So the food. I thought the Masaman was solid - not the best I've had, but good. Wife thought was ramen was good, but overpriced for what she got. I'll admit that I'd also expected either more or better for the price. The delivery was the real issue. One of our items (sashimi) wasn't delivered because it was in the fridge when Uber Eats arrived to pick up the order, and the restaurant didn't give it to them. My wife spent 10 minutes on hold before she could even speak to the manager. To his credit, he drove the food over to us. So yeah. The sashimi was great, the hot food was okay, the prices are kinda high, and the service had a bad night. I reserve 1&2 star reviews for bad experiences, and 4&5 stars for good to great experiences. I'm hoping my next experience here lets me add that next star. read more

Ordered takeout on a Saturday evening and the food was ready early, how long does it sit? Food could have been hotter. Food was typical Chinese, nothing exceptional. I know there has been inflation but it was lunch portions at double the lunch order prices. Better choices in Solon and Twinsburg. read more

I finally found a sushi place in Ohio that I can eat at (certified sushi snob here). The fish was good, the service was great, and it was a nice atmosphere. The owner's husband came out and was very friendly, gave us some nice recommendations, and had the chef make us a special roll that wasn't on the menu. I look forward to going back and trying items off the menu as we only had sushi. read more

Easily the worst Asian food ever... had the Sand Pebbles Pad Thai and the noodles were flavorless. The menu stated crispy chicken but for some reason they were simply chicken nuggets that were over breaded and clearly bought from a sub par food distributor. The website states home made but the nuggets were awful. Figured the positive reviews would mean the high prices would be worth it... just wanted good Asian food and now mad that I didn't go to McDonalds because their nuggets are far better. read more

I give this place a three simply because the sushi is very good, however the service was very slow and it would have been nice if the sushi came out as it was ordered per sheet. For example we had two sheets, each with our own orders but the sushi came out all mixed up. The bubble tea was pretty expensive for what you get as well. If we had known it was a brand new restaurant we probably have gone elsewhere simply because it does take a while to work the kinks out of new restaurants . read more

We tried Sand Pebbles for the first time tonight. We ordered salmon sushi, chicken ramen, teriyaki chicken, and the Thai basil fried rice. All items were delicious - not a single complaint! I had the ramen and the broth was very flavorful, the chicken was moist and wonderful, and the noodles, egg, and onions completed the meal. I will definitely keep this ramen meal in mind for a good comfort food or for a cold night! The meals all looked very presentable even through the plastic takeout containers!! The gentleman who took my order by phone and who completed the transaction when I arrived at the restaurant for pick up was very polite and helpful! Thank you! We will be back! read more

Spouse and I stopped in after a walk at the park. We had hopes of finding a BBQ place nearby, but they were closed already. We stopped in around 8:30 and pleased that this Asian restaurant remained open past 7 during COVID-19. We ate around the bar area, and conversation with the wait staff was delightful. We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Dragon Sushi, and Salmon Lover Sushi. All three dishes were well-prepared and appetizing. It was one of the best Teriyaki dishes in terms of seasoning and few that were not drowning in sauce. The sushi tasted fresh, although the owner should know where the fish she serves is sourced.
