My sister and I were standing in line when a staff member suddenly called us out in front of the other customers. She yelled, "Get in the back of the line and don't cut. That lady was here first!" My sister and I were extremely confused and embarrassed. Everyone turned to look at us as though we had done something wrong. The staff member then asked, "Did you place your doughnut order?" We explained that we had not, which was why we were standing in line. She responded by telling us that we needed to place our doughnut order first and then get in line to pay. We completely understand that there may have been a specific process for ordering and paying, and we would have gladly followed it if someone had simply explained it to us. However, the way this information was communicated was unnecessarily harsh and humiliating. We felt scolded, embarrassed, and shaken by the interaction. I can still remember the angry, raised tone of the staff member's voice. There are many ways this situation could have been handled respectfully and professionally. A simple explanation such as, "Excuse me, you need to place your doughnut order over there first, and then you can come back to this line to pay," would have been more than enough. What should have been a wonderful family outing ended with us feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. No customer should have to be treated this way, especially when there was clearly a misunderstanding rather than an intentional attempt to cut in line. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning. I hope management takes the time to address how situations like this are handled with customers so that others do not have to experience the same treatment.

I've been trying to call for payment they refuse to pay now that they have the place opened and running again. Steven basically told me to fuck myself and that he's not paying. So I contacted Lisa which was on vacation and enjoying herself now that we handled everything for her including paying for permits out of my own pocket. She says she will pay aslong as we send a detailed invoice which I have 3 times now due refuses to answer along with Steven. Do not trust these people with money or food they are not what you think they are. They definitely not what I thought they were. There not nice people at all totally wrong. If you are owed money for your hard earned time and labor they choose not to pay. But they know hot to call a bunch of times when there in need so sad.

That's it. Not enough cheese, no butter, no salt, no pepper. Nothing. They don't even toast the bread. If we had tasked our 6 year old nephew to making us egg sandwiches, this is what he would hand us. My cousins had coffee. One hot and the other cold. Hot reportedly is pretty good and the iced is not very strong. I ordered an iced tea. When iced tea is made fresh from actual tea (a good thing), then sits in the fridge for 6 or 7 days (a bad thing), it gets a very distinctive stale taste and that's exactly what this iced tea had. It was old and stale. I threw it away and since the egg sandwich was so dry, I pulled a bottle of water I had in my beach tote to wash it down. My cousin asked the friendly staffer (super friendly, actually, so a shout out to them) for some salt and this turned into a task. She had to ask someone else and that person had to go off somewhere to get some from a plastic container. If you're going to serve unseasoned food, have salt available, please. I ordered a croissant, which was OK and my other cousin ordered a blueberry slab dessert that was smothered in so much icing that it was sickeningly sweet. We joked that eying it from the side, the icing was thicker than the pastry itself. One of us grabbed a knife and tried to scrape some off to no avail. It fell apart, none of us wanted any more and we tossed most of it. I like to support small businesses, but this was not a good experience for us.
