I've frequented Sandridge over the years and have always had a solid breakfast every time I stop in. I usually have a coffee with Bacon & Eggs breakfast. I showed up for a late lunch today and decided to order the grilled shrimp salad. I asked if their dressings were homemade and she said no. So, I ordered a balsamic vinegaraitte and ranch. She literally brings me our two bottles from the grocery store and sits them on my table. Not in a ramekin, or anything. The bottles. I was shocked. The ranch didn't even have a label. The salad took almost 15 minutes and not one other table was there. It came in iceberg lettuce, with the most pungent onions I ever had and a ton of their delicious homemade croutons. Shrimp was plentiful for the price. The salad wasn't terrible and the server was friendly (just really slow). I was ready to pay my bill and instead of her giving to me she cleaned the plate and probably washed it before coming back. I still think this place is a pretty boil little place- but the biggest thing was that the TV was really loud on Fox News which is not something that I want to listen to in general and especially when I am eating. read more

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It wasn't busy at all, however the service was great. Friendly and right on top of drink refills. The food was very good and we had a side of biscuits and gravy to try and it was surprisingly delicious. We went back later that day for a late lunch and it was the same. Great service and good food. Tonight was my first time at the diner. Tonight was also A.Y.C.E Crab Night. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender (Ali) and another waitress (Noreen) within minutes of sitting down. We really enjoyed the pulled pork BBQ diner. The restaurant was very nice and the servers were very friendly.

I can't say I was impressed with the service or the food. I never got a refill. When I asked for dipping sauce they handed me huge bottles but nothing to put it on. The plates were too small. Until another service saw me using napkins gave me a container. It took about 40 mins to get a Reuben, chicken tenders, hot dog, and wrap. It wasn't busy. I've seen this diner for years and finally went with a friend. That was a mistake, Service was ok, food took forever, and was mediocre at best especially for the price. Is this a great place if your strung out, or recovering from a hangover? Sure, but there's better places in this area that will fight a lot harder for your business so I suggest you all go there. Is this diner here for the food or the convenience ? Get the cheese fries... they rock! $8 minimum on credit card transactions. This restaurant has a good variety of daily specials throughout the week. There is even an all-you-can-eat crab leg deal going on now. The steaks are excellent, the portions are filling, and the wait staff is generally friendly. Try this place - it's great Just remember, this isn't a huge chain-type place. This is more of your mom-and-pop variety. Seating is not as plentiful as other places, but it is comfortable. read more

I had just went to the Diner to get a flounder plate, I don't know if they got a new cook or what but I am really disappointed, the flounder is very small, I can't even pick it up, it and the french fries are just laying in grease, there isn't even any flavor to. When I would want fish this was the place I would always go because it was cooked good and good flavor. The star goes to the huspuppies at least they are descent. read more

I went to this restaurant with my son and his fiance and had the nachos. They were very good and the plate was so full I couldn't eat them all. My son had a double cheeseburger which he said was excellent and it was also very large. His fiance had a Mexican entree which was also extremely good and the portion size was very generous. We were very pleased and the price was good considering the amount of food and how well it tasted. My son said he didn't want to go because the last time he had gone it was not good at all, but they evidently changed owners because we were all very pleased. Linda Swint read more

By far the worst customer service situation I've ever seen in my life. I've been a daily customer here for over 5 months and today I can no longer go back. The cashier typed in the wrong flavor of my order so I went back to pick up the correct order. The phone call of me coming back resulted in the cashier arguing to the death in a rude way and demanding I was in the wrong for saying the wrong flavor. I get to the store and I ask who the employee was, she responded she wasn't going to tell me.... I asked who is the manager? She said I'm not going to tell you that.... I asked who the owner was and she Said she wont tell me or give me that info. I said okay I'm done speaking with you then, she proceeds to argue and argue leading to me telling her to stop speaking to me literally 20 times, to the point another customer in the store had to intervene and tell her to just stop talking to me. After the 20th time I said please stop speaking to me woman, and she acted as if she get shot by the word woman and she responded saying "do not call me a woman!!" ... okay dude... this is her 4th time getting my order wrong and every time it's apparently the customers fault. luckily I recorded the whole situation when it got out of hand and that's when she became more defensive realizing she was completely out of line. by Far the worst customer service situation in my life, and the only person I wanted to speak with about it I was told I can't get their contact info.... Real professional. hopefully the owner or manager can respond to this review or reach out to me so they can see exactly what goes on in their business that I have been a loyal customer to for 6 months straight every other day. at this point I would almost rather send the video to the better business berue it was that bad. please do not go here until they fix their customer service which and its Not all of them (some are very nice) but the terrible ones give a bad name to the entire establishment. I would list the names of the employees but I actually wasn't "allowed to receive that info" I was told I can't know who the people arguing, being rude, and swearing at me were? stay away until they fix this situation. the last three times now when I have tried to order something from you guys no matter what you are out of whatever it is? First you were out of bacon for a BLT sandwich (Really, how does a restaurant of ANY kind run out of freaking bacon?) Next you advertised for several days about corned beef and cabbage for St. Patricks day, starting at 4:30pm. My entire family showed up at 5:00pm and guess what, all out of corned beef. Today I tried to place an order for food with the simple request for onion rings and SURPRISE SURPRISE all out of onion rings. I really don't understand what is going on with your restaurant but I'm pretty sure you just lost a regular customer. I would rather fight traffic and drive into town knowing that I am gonna get what I want off the menu then to drive 30 seconds to a place that is obviously having logistical problems. read more
