We got a mango smoothie and hibiscus mango lemonade tea and the flavor was so good and refreshing. The prices are reasonable, the seating area is quiet and clean, and the staff is super helpful and respectful. I will try to work my way through their whole menu but it's huge so might take a while. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for cookies, macaroons, cake, donuts to ramen, sandwiches and more!

My wife and I each ordered the Hug-A-Hero sandwich, that with each purchase as the menu states, the store donates a portion of the proceeds to the Hug-A-Hero organization, that "brings comfort to military families." We ordered it because the sandwich components looked tasty. And the sandwiches arrived impeccably crafted and sliced, with the flavors we hoped for. The goat cheese and house-made creamy pesto aioli really set this sandwich apart from just being another turkey sandwich on some fancy bread. For sides we chose the creamy potato salad with pieces of potato -nicely blended and smooth taste- and the pasta, Arugala, pine nut salad. Service was good. (Side note: First time I've been named "Blue Shirt Guy Couple" on my order ticket and it made me smile). Seating in the narrow (but normal layout for this building) space is organized by tables on one side and chairs and a counter down the other side. Business was steady during this lunch time and the bistro definitely deserves a return visit.

We finally tried Steve's Subs and Salads and it did not disappoint! The subs are easily some of the best in town, but the highlight was the service. Steve is a great guy who clearly cares about his customers and his craft. It's so refreshing to support a local business where the owner is so friendly and welcoming. I am seriously alreasy looking forward to our 1st fishing adventure just so we can have lunch at the Kettle once we've caught all the bass. I was hoping for spare ribs, Kansa City style ribs or beef ribs but they don't do those anymore. The beans were good and worth eating, the brisket was moist and not too smoky. We generally liked everything. One thing for oaths with sensitive hearing, because there are few decorations and hard walls and floors the room is kind of loud and echoey. I hope they make some effort to soften the sound, hang some soft decorations or do something to make the sound more appealing instead of the sound of an empty warehouse.
